I'm part of the teen generation that lived for A&F so I have spent quite a lot of time & money over a lot of my life in these stores. When I say this was like a blast from the past, I don't mean it in a nostalgic way. I was maybe one of 4 people there. The entire store was either empty (in terms of stock) OR it was a piled up mess of stuffed shelves and merchandise all over the floors. The staff couldn't have been less interested in being helpful. Also I had a customer service coupon for 20% off and the manager tried to only attach it to ONE ITEM not my entire purchase. And it took 20 min to get it applied properly. I had to do the math for her. I'm not sure if she didn't know how to use her own POS system or was simply hoping I wouldn't notice her shorting me but it shouldn't have taken that long to work out... Also the gum on the wall was a nice touch

Years ago, this store was thriving with lots of clothes and was just overflowing with products. I don't really shop at UO anymore but I recently came here before xmas and the line was very long but I decided to wait patiently in it. Upon entering, there were a lot of sweaters that I saw but once you pass that first part of clothing, there isn't much else to keep you there. They have a nice clearance section but the "sale" is like maybe only $10 off a $40 t-shirt. There weren't a lot of vinyls to choose from which was a bummer and the home section was very sad. If you are looking for something specific, I would check with them beforehand to make sure that they have it before going. If you're just browsing, I would spend your time elsewhere because you probably won't find what you're looking for here. All in all, I was reminded why I don't shop at UO anymore and if I do, I prefer driving all the way to Avalon or just shopping online.

Upon entering, Spencer's, which is on the second level, I read and laughed at the more hilarious t-shirt graphics and the text printed on the front of them. Spencer's is an organized collection of items that you usually don't find at mainstream retail stores. Beside t-shirts, you can find jewelry for piercings, incense, lava lamps, sex toys, lingerie, pride clothing, and many other items. This store is clean and neat in appearance. Another thing is that on my receipt it clearing reads,"If you aren't satisfied with your product, then you can exchange or return it for a full refund." Maybe it is just this location but now it seems more like just a mess of a place. No help... there was basically one person here behind the register for 90% of the time we were in here. Later after we were almost done I saw another employee come in. During the whole two hours we were in here we got zero help! The place is a disaster and finding things took a bunch of time... stuff all mixed together, things tossed around, and just a lack of organization. It looked like it started out to be organized but just had not been kept up. The lighting in here SUCKS! Trying to hold things together to see if things looked good together was a practice in futility. Seriously I was walking all over trying to find good light to see if this black pants match this black suit coat and such. It was so hard to tell... tip... there is pretty good light up by the register by the jewelry area. Not great but better. We spent two hours in here and eventually pieced a suit together for my sons first homecoming... see pics. It looks good... it is not greatly maid and still cost over 600 for everything. I feel like it is a one and done suit... maybe two times but it just felt cheaply made for the cost. However he liked it and he looked stylin in it... so we bought it.
