Cozy Creations Shoppe - Ice cream in the gift shop

What a neat little place!! Stopped in for some ice cream, and was met with more treats than that!…read more First off, there is a decent sized parking lot and some outdoor tables under a tent. Inside, there's the ice cream counter of course, but there's also a small gift shop selling local handmade goods. There's also some customization options. I bought a decorative piece for my mom while I was there and she really liked it! The ice cream counter is small and staffed by one person. They had different shake and sundae options to choose from as well as scoops. I got a small size but there was a lot of ice cream. It's provided by Bliss in Attleboro and while mine was a bit freezer burnt, I still enjoyed it. We ate our ice cream at some indoor picnic tables they had in a room downstairs off to the side of the shop. They had a TV playing "The Croods" main title on repeat. It was also windy and some tarp outside kept hitting the roof. The woman working was very kind to us. We were ordering a couple ice creams to go, and she offered to scoop them and hold onto them in the freezer while my brother and I ate ours there and then went outside to see the animals! That's right, animals!! They have a goat named Billy, a pig named Peter Porker, and a whole slew of chickens. You can buy feed for $1 and feed the chickens!! They were all so cute, it was definitely my favorite part of the visit!

Staff is very friendly. Ice cream? Yeah its cold. Yummy yummers. My dog loves all of the chickens…read more Appreciate the free exercise for him! LOL

I definitely stop by here when I'm looking for fun gifts to give out of towners because there are so many references to local staples that are uniquely Rhode Island. Did I mention the staff is super nice every time I come in here? They know I'm mostly browsing and eventually will find something. We popped into Frog and Toad to see what else they had to offer. We found it was a fun spot full of eclectic trinkets and items, gifts and clothing. Some specific to the area, some not so much, but fun nonetheless. They offer items in many price ranges , and items good for young and old alike. We enjoyed looking through all the items, getting some good laughs and even picking up a few small items to take home. This shop is a fun and unique spot, definitely worth checking out if you're in the area.

They did have a sign on the door asking customers to not take photos while inside- whether it is for security purposes or to ward off the use of google image. I guess you will have to visit yourself! Extremely small parking lot, it looks as though they share the parking lot with a few other businesses, but have a few spots exclusively for their store.

My mom started walking into the store because it is her birthday and wanted to see the jewelry. Immediately upon entering we noticed how beautiful and organized the shop is. Rather small in space with only a few costumers in shop. The merchandise was from all over the world and my family (being well traveled) noticed many heritage pieces. My oldest sister had asked the store owner if she had made the jewelry herself. The woman firmly and with very rude intention responded "what?, what are you talking about NO." Afterwards we attempted to keep light conversation about the countries the items were from. The owner and her daughter are extremely rude and disconnected. They never once looked up at us or bothered to stop texting to answer our questions. On top of it they're very uneducated on their products and extremely over priced for items you can get for bulk on Amazon. I would of purchased some jewelry from this store if the woman would actually care about selling their products. Unfortunately I will never come back here.

Honestly, this is refreshing as corporations understaff and stress their employees. This local owner know what we the patrons want, we want people who are happy with their jobs and that's done by great staffing. This is my go to for any gift. Yes, you're paying more for a book than you would on Amazon but this is the opposite of a greedy corporation who screws everyone. This is truly local and I'm lucky to live 20 mins away.

My friend and I went on a weekday night, about 2 hours before closing so it was pretty quiet. I initially thought the bookstore was only on the first floor of the building but turns out it's a multi-story experience. There is a parking lot at the back where I parked and I was able to enter through the back door (not sure if this is the main entrance). On the first floor, they have some books, bathrooms, a check out desk, nick nacks (hats, stationery, puzzles, etc.), and most importantly, a coffee shop. The coffee shop was closing up around the time we got there so plan accordingly and do some research on their hours. as they are not the same as the bookstore. The books are clearly labeled by genre. After taking a stroll, we decided to check out the second floor which was supposed to have a little market, a stage where they host events, and some very comfortable couches along with tables and chairs. I mostly came to see if a book spoke to me, but also to get some reading in from the book I brought along with me. The lighting is good, although I sometimes prefer to have a dimmer setting for a cozier feel. We spent about 1.25 hours here, but we could have easily spent a longer time if it weren't so close to closing.
