After searching Miami for the perfect caterer for our wedding, our Planner Melissa from Luxurious Events introduced us to Alex and the team at Thierry's Catering. It was a great pleasure to work with Alex and his team from tasting to the wedding day. One of the things that my husband and I love to do together is cook. Being foodies, we really wanted to make sure that the quality of food that we served on our wedding day was something that we would serve to dinner guests at our home and also something we would want to eat. The Thierry's team truly delivered with our menu from start to finish. We have friends who are still telling us that it was the best wedding food they have ever had! We had heard some horror stories of caterers who WOW'd you at the tasting and just couldn't deliver on the big day. This was in NO WAY the case with Thierry's. Every single guest received a perfectly cooked, medium-rare churrasco and the presentation of all the food was impeccable. This was most definitely not an easy feat for 190 guests with food being made there on-site. We were so impressed with your level of execution, customer service and presentation. If you want the best food at your event, book them! We used this company to cater our wedding reception back in June and everyone is still talking about how amazing the food was. Catherine and her team worked with us on our budget & made sure we had the most incredible experience for our guests. We wanted to provide an experience for our guests, not just a buffet or sit down dinner. We had 5 different live action food stations. Our families are East and West Indian, it was very important for the flavors to be up to our families standard & they were! We had an Indian station and they made the naan fresh in a tandoor oven. Live paella station, Chaat station, Taste of Italy & a Greek station. The gnocchi was fantastic along with the risotto, the lamb pitas were fantastic, I wasn't able to eat the Paella however, everyone loved it! You won't be disappointed, I wish I could have them cook for me everyday! read more

Horrible, Horrible, Horrible!!! I had an awful experience with Thierry's Catering. I wanted to hire them as my wedding caterer. I took the time to meet with the President of the company, Alina. It was a 3 hour meeting. We talked about everything possible and she had a complete picture of EXACTLY what we wanted. She told me that she would send me a proposal within a couple of days. Then 2 weeks went by and I didn't get a single email from her or anyone at the company. When I contacted her she slapped together a very very poor document that she called a "proposal" but what was really just some menu items. I specifically told her that I was allergic to shellfish and the whole menu she sent had shrimp, lobster and crab on it. WTF?!?! She didnt even listen to what I told her at the meeting. Then I asked her what about the prices. And she replied and said Opps I will send them to you tomorrow. Well, "tomorrow" was 2 weeks ago. So now we have wasted a month on Thierry's Catering we have no proposal and ZERO contact from anyone at Thierry's Catering. They beat arround the bush about pices and you will never get a straight answer from them about $$$. If the President of the company acts like this imagine what the rest of them are like. Thierry's Catering has horrible customer service. We are going to hire either Joy Wallace (expensive) or Eggwhites (very nice people). Thierry's you have lost a customer for a lifetime! And imagine, we were ready to spend $100k with you. WiIl NEVER recommend you. Thanks for wasting a month of our time. read more

As promised, I am writing an update to my review since I hired this wonderful company to cater my wedding last week. EVERYTHING WAS PERFECT! They cooked, presented and served all of the food better than I could have imagined. The food at the wedding actually came out better than what we had at the tasting. Thierry's catered our wedding on 11/17 and they were amazing! The food was delicious and tasted just like it did during our tasting; all of the guests raved about its presentation and taste. The usually outstanding culinary performance for this catering company fell to unacceptable during a Gala dinner in Miami Beach on Feb 10th. The first course was an assortment of overcooked vegetables and a lettuce leaf stuffed with something like cold pasta salad. No rolls were on the table but some stale , cold toasted pieces of white bread stuck in a glass were offered instead. I had the vegetarian main course that according to the menu description featured cauliflower and an assortment of Asian vegetables. A mound of bland steamed cauliflower and two tiny pieces of mushroom were presented and the dish was too boring to eat. Why can't this highly experienced catering company figure out how to present a vegetarian( not vegan) entrée that has some protein ( the dish they offered had none) and some flavor. read more

Although the food is quite good, there customer service is horrid. Contracts need to be very specific with thierry's. If they aren't they may find a loophole and not deliver what was promised. I'll be using Mena or Joy Wallace from now on. read more

Thierry's Catering catered and provided equipment rentals for our wedding. Let me start by saying the food was excellent, the seafood was really great. However, If you ONLY care about the food showing up and tasting great then they are a catering company worth consideration. Unfortunately, the food was not good enough to outweigh the absolute worst customer service I have ever experienced. I had considered many companies before choosing them, and I wish I had used someone else. They had a year to organize everything they needed, and yet somehow managed to under-deliver and lie the days leading up to and following our wedding. The first few interactions were fine, they provided a contract and feedback when they said they would, unfortunately everything else after the signed contract was far from favorable. There were weeks that went when I had to call and email and call and email with my questions... without ANY response. I had to ask multiple times for all of the information any professional, reputable company should provide without needing to ask repeatedly, i.e. how long will it take you to set up, what time do you plan on arriving, how long will it take you to tear down and pack up, when will you be picking up the equipment etc. I could write in detail about the items they were dishonest about beginning two days prior to my wedding. They did not provide the wine or beers in the contract, did not pick up the rental equipment when they said they would, and lied on the phone about picking up my wedding cake (luckily I had an amazing, honest bakery I was working with). Needless to say, if you want to have any event with a company that is dishonest, will not compensate you for mistakes and tell you after the fact that things just sometimes 'slip through the cracks' then by all means use them. I really really wish I had not. The staff onsite was friendly (although some of my items did go missing...) it is just the poor management, dis-organization and lack of ethics from the company that leads me to strongly encourage anyone having an event to use another catering company. read more

Get the eff out of town!!! Who are you people and where have you been all my life?!! WOW...its really all I can say. After hanging out at Stages and beginning to feel a tad miserable I came face to face with a waitress carrying a tray of something delicious looking "care for an h'orderve" she said with a greeting smile. Why yes please, after all I am a foodie and food does provide some sort of comfort within me. The minute I put the tiny delicious piece of bread with some sort or roasted meat and tangy sauce in my mouth, my world changed colors (...and mind you I was at an art exhibit...yeah). You people make me want to start throwing soires so I can enjoy your presence and feel merry 24/7. At the beginning I literally could not turn around and walk the other direction without having one of you guys offer me some sort of exquisite wine or ridiculously good dish (if theres anything that I love more than finding good food or wine, is food and wine that finds and comes to me). Honorable mention to the goat cheese quesadilla with some sort of bbq smoked sauce and the samosa/arepa hybrid with the spicy kick to it. Hhhhmmm foodgasm alert! Their vegetarian rolls were also really good...and then came desserts! Screw these people and screw the art, they had me hooked. Once the place started packing up I obsessively started stalking the waiters and would play a game of cat and mouse chasing them through the crowds, I seriously couldn't get enough of it (dont jugde me). After many years of using Thierry's I had a disappointing experience for my event at Thanksgiving. They forgot the tablecloths rented and napkins and my guests arrived when they were finally setting up for the event so it was chaos! The food was OK not great but OK! thus I am rating them a 2 but this was not a good experience and unprofessional to be untimely ....for the start to the event! when you spend a lot of money you expect flawless service! BTW I had emailed the event planner and send a phone message to Alina (which she never had the courtesy to return my call) about the table cloths so there was no reason for this to have happened. I have had the immense pleasure of working with the team at Thierry's Catering on several occasions, throughout the years and once again, I booked them!! To say the least, they were remarkable! We hired Thierry's Catering for our Dress for Success Miami Executive Board Holiday Celebration at a private home. From the time I picked up the phone to book them until the last guest had left, they were so professional! They took care of everything to make sure this was a memorable celebration! The food was absolutely exquisite! From the Charcuterie display with endless details to the passed hors d'oeuvres, which included Tamarind Shrimp, Mini Tuna Wasabi Burgers to Peanut Chicken Satay, it was spectacular! The servers and bartenders were wonderful! Throughout the entire evening they made sure that the guests were very well taken care of and not a single glass empty! But let me tell you, Dinner was delectable. From the Honey Baked Ham, to a perfectly roasted Turkey, a mashed potato bar and a seasonally inspired salad, everything was outstanding! However, the Pièce de résistance had to be the desserts, between Chocolate Covered Strawberries, Orange Crème Brulee Tart, Mini Key Lime and Pecan pies, they were truly ambrosial! Without a doubt I can say that Thierry's Catering is outstanding in every way! If I could possibly give them more than 5 starts I would, in my book they deserve a 10! Thierry's Catering is probably one of the if not THE BEST cater in Miami. I have hired Thierry's Catering for several of my work events and most recently for my wedding. Each time I have experienced Thierry's catering, the food and service always impresses me. I'll give a few reviews about different occasions that I've experienced Thierry's Catering... We hired Thierry's Catering to provide food and staff for one of our fundraising galas for over 575 guests in Islamorada. The gala was in a large air conditioned tent so all of the ovens and kitchen preparations had to be transported to this venue. The first great impression was during the cocktail hour. The food was hot, easy to eat in 2 bites or less, and there was always a member of the Thierry's Catering staff there to pick up any used napkins, spoons, sticks, etc. Then once the dinner began, the food was not only extremely flavorful but it was HOT! I produce and attend several galas in Miami every year, and very rarely does food for hundreds of people come out with a hot temperature. I was impressed. If my food is not hot, I usually don't enjoy it as much, so this was something that immediately want to give them a 5 star review. This past Saturday night was my wedding for 115 guests at a home at Pinecrest, FL. We have been to many weddings and the food is always just OKAY and service was nothing to remember. Thierry's Catering for my wedding was better than I expected. At the beginning of the day before our wedding started, our wedding planner from a different company was not answering the phone and was over 3 hours late. By hour 2 of a wedding planner not showing up, I immediately called Thierry and asked him if he could help us and that we were desperate as we had no one to coordinate the details of our wedding. Within 30 minutes one of his managers was there to help! Luckily, our original wedding planner finally showed up and managed to execute our wedding flawlessly. None of our guests even knew there had been an issue earlier in the day, and this was due to Thierry's willingness to help and having paid so much attention to detail during our menu tasting and timeline meetings prior to our wedding. On our wedding menu we had 6 different passed hors d'oeuvres including the Saint Andre Fondue, Mole Grilled Tenderloin, Macadamia Crusted Lamb Medallions, Passion Seared Tuna, and Coconut Shrimp. For our buffet dinner we served Grilled Steak with Chimichurri, Baked Filet of Salmon Phyllo En Croute, Baked Gratin of Scalloped Potatoes, Caribbean Rice, Steam Veggies, Mesclun Salad, and Caprese Salad. Everything was delicious delicious delicious, and all of our guests thought the same. In fact, I thought our steak was better at our wedding than at the pre-tasting, which is usually the opposite for most menu tastings. Then at 11:00pm we served late night snacks including mini burger slides, croque monsieur, mini media noche sandwiches and fries. Wow what a great idea that was. Everyone was so happy to get salty snacks after several hours of drinks. The food again was hot and very tasty. All in all I have to say that hiring Thierry's Catering for my wedding was the best decision I made for my wedding. I will continue to book Thierry's for all of my events and would recommend them to anyone that wants delicious food and flawless service for their wedding, party, or special event. read more

I attended an event and the caterer cas Thierry Catering. I had only heard great things about them before so I was kind of excited to taste their food. However I found that everything tastes kinda bland. Not disgusting but nothing had much flavors. Nothing reminded me of French cuisine elegance and taste! It was just ok. I was at a New World Symphony event recently and this older lady waitress from Thierrys was really rude. She talked down to me like a child. I asked another waiter what her name was,, Angela? Andrea? Name starts with A,,I wanted to report her to her boss but I had to leave then. They really need to hire people better than that. read more
