I came in with a "vibrating" Chevy Avalanche, & the man at the counter took me immediately to his young service tech to get me some help! This young man was so helpful & polite & drove my truck, put it up on the hoist & checked it all out for me! This shop did not have the parts to get me going , but called all over town to see who could help me out!! (I was almost 4 hours away from home!!) They sent over to the Chevy dealer in Oacoma, & they were just as helpful. The truck had to eventually be sold to salvage, but I am overwhelmed at the kindness of everyone in this area, & their helpfulness to get me back home, safely!!! They did not even charge me for their precious time! I am so very grateful to everyone here, & must say that this is one of the cleanest, most organized shops that I have ever been in!

I was in town for the Scavenger's Journey (about 4 hours away from home) when my vehicle started…read moreshaking/vibrating heavily! I was in Chamberlain, & had to wait until someone opened. They guys at CarSwap checked me out & determined the problem, but did not have the parts to get me going. They called all over the area to find someone who could help. The sent me over to Riverview Chevrolet as they were told they had some parts to help. Allison assured me right away that they would check everything over & see what they could do. She also offered me one of their vehicles to drive right away. I was too upset to take her up on it, so just went on a long walk. Chuck, one of their service techs, offered to check out my vehicle even though I had no appointment & he had other work to do. He was very thorough, & came up with a list of items that needed to be addressed--well over what the vehicle was worth. He even showed me what was wrong under the truck & showed me how it was very unsafe to drive it. He offered to fix the items that would get me home as safe as possible, for the least amount, as I would never be driving that truck again. They even threw in a free tire as one of mine was "out of round"!! Their kindness was just overwhelming!!! Later, Allison even insisted I go for lunch & get in some sales with their vehicle so that my entire day wasn't just used up in the mechanics shop!! Yes, it was a large bill, but they didn't have to add me to their list of repairs, & Chuck even worked through his lunch to put me back on the road sooner!! They went out of their way to give me the best customer service , as quickly as possible for as little cost as possible!! I am forever grateful!!! THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We limped our camper trailer to the off ramp and the dirt lot at the Clark gas station... to discover we had a busted leaf spring on our Jayco 22ft trailer. After a google search, found a number for the one local auto shop, Charley's. They had an on call number and Jordan answered. Very kind. Very helpful. Gave advice. Came up with a plan for the next morning, when they opened back up. Crawled our way to the KOA just down the street (and happens to be conveniently located across the road from the auto shop...!) Jordan and all staff were incredibly polite, helpful, affordable, and efficient in helping us solve our SOS camper break. We are so appreciative.

Driving cross country from Seattle to NYC our Alfa Romeo Stelvio's low oil warning light comes on…read morein Rapid City, SD. Following our manual instructions for adding oil, the warning light goes off, infotainment shows good level. We drive approx. 1 hour and warning lights come on "excessive" oil!!! It's Sunday, we are 300+ miles from Sioux Falls (nearest authorized Alfa Romeo mechanic). AAA will tow but, only 1 of the 3 of us will be allowed to ride in the tow truck! Unacceptable!! Against all recommendations, we drive an additional 140 miles before we are scared to go on. At the Vivian Eastbound Rest stop, a worker gives us info on Charley's Welding & Auto Repair and their mechanic, Jordan as well as King's Inn that is within walking distance of the repair shop. Jordan answered and said he'll be able to do the oil change on Monday at 9:30 am. Nick, from King's Inn was able to accomodate us for the night. Nick also suggested Henriksen Auto Body Towing 24/7 in Presho. Dave Henriksen, owner, assures us that he'll get someone to tow us asap. In no time at all, Don, tow truck driver, shows up, tows our car, with all 3 of us to Charley's. We were told to leave the car in the yard. We get there and Jordan is at the shop!! Unbelivable!! On a Sunday, on his day off!! On Monday, the car is ready before 10am. Jordan, Don, Dave, & Nick you guys are AMAZING!! We truly appreciate all of you!! Highly recommend 100%. These guys are experts in their fields and their hearts are pure gold!!

I headed west, intending to stop only when I had to, and stop on a hill to "push start" the bike. When I got to Chamberlain, I saw the sign for the Honda dealership, and stopped out of desperation. The service was fantastic! I had expected them to have to order a starter (if one was even available for a 25-year-old bike), which would cost a lot of money and several days delay. Instead, they pulled a set of starter brushes off their shelf that had been there for years, and rebuilt the starter for me. I was amazed to have the repair done within a few hours, and at a very reasonable price!!! As I headed for home, I thought to myself, "I'd like to somehow let people know what great service they provided at Curt's." So, here it is.

Just off the highway facing a gorgeous lake we were both pleasantly surprised at the care its given in comparison to others we've stopped at. We even took note of the clean gas pumps as well. The employee greeted us kindly and the bathrooms were impeccably clean. The small store even smelled nice! I wasn't sure what scent it was but it was pleasant and calming. We didn't need to purchase anything at the time but I certainly wanted to because I appreciated it so much. Being on a long drive you get used to expecting less than stellar accommodations so stumbling upon this gas station was one of the highlights!

The pumps were clean, paper was available for obtaining a receipt, and the convenience store was well kept. It was relatively easy to get back on the 90 freeway and head West towards Rapid City.

So, we were about to start a longer drive and stopped at this Shell to get gas and prep. Usually gas station stops like that are ones you want to make quick and not mess around. However, the trip to this Shell is one I still remember, because of how awesome the attendant Sharyl was! With a huge smile on her face and all the friendliness in the world, she started our drive off the best it could have with how awesome she was. She even offered us paper towels to take with for our snacks. I specifically remember her saying how, "your mom isn't around right now so I'll take care of you like a mom would". She was unbelievably sweet and unforgettable- this will be the gas station I come back to in the area just because of her!
