I didn't realize till later how old the reviews are - the most recent is 2 years. Maybe new owners? They were able to get us in first thing in the morning. Later they called and recommended new tires, telling us it would still be done that day. It turned out that they ordered the wrong tires and we were stuck for another night. In addition, we had 4 small children at a campsite in 90+ degree heat with horseflies and other fun bugs making the poor kids go crazy. We asked for transportation to a motel 3 miles away and were told that there's a local taxi service we should look into. A kind camping neighbor noticed our predicament and shuttled us to the motel (two trips because we didn't all fit in their car!). The next day we called to check on our car and found that it was done. My husband asked if they could pick him up (to save him a 1.5 mile walk) and they said sure, they'd be right over in a van. What?!?! Apparently the van guy wasn't working the previous day (and no one else could drive it?). The work seems to be all in order- we've driven 100 miles today. And the price was fair.

After a google search, found a number for the one local auto shop, Charley's. They had an on call number and Jordan answered. Very kind. Very helpful. Gave advice. Came up with a plan for the next morning, when they opened back up. Crawled our way to the KOA just down the street (and happens to be conveniently located across the road from the auto shop...!) Jordan and all staff were incredibly polite, helpful, affordable, and efficient in helping us solve our SOS camper break. We are so appreciative.

Driving cross country from Seattle to NYC our Alfa Romeo Stelvio's low oil warning light comes on…read morein Rapid City, SD. Following our manual instructions for adding oil, the warning light goes off, infotainment shows good level. We drive approx. 1 hour and warning lights come on "excessive" oil!!! It's Sunday, we are 300+ miles from Sioux Falls (nearest authorized Alfa Romeo mechanic). AAA will tow but, only 1 of the 3 of us will be allowed to ride in the tow truck! Unacceptable!! Against all recommendations, we drive an additional 140 miles before we are scared to go on. At the Vivian Eastbound Rest stop, a worker gives us info on Charley's Welding & Auto Repair and their mechanic, Jordan as well as King's Inn that is within walking distance of the repair shop. Jordan answered and said he'll be able to do the oil change on Monday at 9:30 am. Nick, from King's Inn was able to accomodate us for the night. Nick also suggested Henriksen Auto Body Towing 24/7 in Presho. Dave Henriksen, owner, assures us that he'll get someone to tow us asap. In no time at all, Don, tow truck driver, shows up, tows our car, with all 3 of us to Charley's. We were told to leave the car in the yard. We get there and Jordan is at the shop!! Unbelivable!! On a Sunday, on his day off!! On Monday, the car is ready before 10am. Jordan, Don, Dave, & Nick you guys are AMAZING!! We truly appreciate all of you!! Highly recommend 100%. These guys are experts in their fields and their hearts are pure gold!!

Took my vehicle in for an oil change and tire rotation. Two guys were standing outside. I went…read moreinside and looked for someone but no one was around. No vehicles in the service areas. Soon, though, one of the guys came in and asked if he could help me. I told him I needed an oil change and tire rotation. He took down all my information and I even gave him my cell number. I asked him to call me when it was done and I'd stop back to pick it up. After three hours and no phone calls I called them and ask if my vehicle was done. They said yes, It had been done for sometime. So I went out and paid the bill and started to leave when I noticed there was no oil change sticker in the top corner of my windshield. I went back in and told the guy that there was no oil change sticker in my car. He said that they are printed out automatically when the oil change is completed. I said there wasn't one in my car. He went over and checked the machine and said it wasn't left in the machine. He also said that he couldn't print out a new sticker. So I said why don't you just give me a sticker and I'll fill it out by hand, which he did. I did notice that they did not clean the windows nor vacuum out the vehicle like most of the other oil change places I've gone to do. Just sayin. Will I be back??? Probably not.
