I called E-town Heating and Cooling out last year because my AC unit wasn't cooling anymore. It was…read morean emergency and they came out pretty quickly and took care of the issue. Fast forward about a year and the same thing seemed to be happening. I called yesterday and while it wasn't an emergency they had someone out to my house before 10am next day. Tyler was the tech that stopped out this time and he was efficient, friendly and chatted with me when I had questions. Turned out this time was not the same issue, the capacitor was bad which I am told happens at times after prolonged heat and humidity. I am glad it wasn't the same issue as before showing the fix they put in place last year is still going strong. Whereas I have no idea if the invoice charge is high or low, the service was excellent and it was money well spent. I definitely recommend E-town Heating and Cooling.

I am sure they sell a good product, but I feel if you can't jump to get my business you're not going to jump to service me.

Leo Kob recently came out to our residence to troubleshoot an A/C issue. They diagnosed the root…read moreproblem as a bad compressor and proceeded to quote us for an entire system replacement, including a $650 "smart thermostat", to the tune of over $9,000, even though we clearly stated we will only be at the property for less than a year. We called a second HVAC company to come out for another opinion and a day later their diagnosis showed the compressor to be working and operating within normal operating parameters, and the system to be free of any refrigerant leaks. 30 minutes later our A/C unit was back up and running (after a minor component replacement) for a small fraction of the cost of a new system. Buyer beware - do not put your trust in this company - always get a second and even third opinion when dealing with systems of this magnitude. Either the technician was grossly incompetent or was instructed by ownership to purposely mislead us into thinking we needed a brand new system. This company's salutation states "Your Friends at Leo Kob Co." These people are NOT friends, they are an HVAC company that has totally lost my trust. I will be doing business elsewhere.

Last time this happened, I caller Kline's Services, but since last time, theyre were bought out by environmental company and prices sky rocketed, so i shopped around. Remembering my time as an HVAC tech, I recalled LPH good rep, so I caller and scheduled them. Dave B. came out and seemed very friendly and knowledgeable. He spent time snaking sewer line till clog was gone. He even cleaned my slop sink, which was full of Shit, literally. One top of that, he only charged me for the special rate they were having for main line unclogging. Now this worked out great, as my special needs kid was putting baby wipes in toilet, unbeknownst to me. These reviews kinda scare me to give these guys my HVAC service, but as far as thus plumbing issue is concerned. Dave B and LPH get 5 stars.

We went with 3 separate zones to cover the primary bedrooms upstairs. Nick and Phil installed the system over 1-1/2 days, demonstrating attention to detail and care for our home. They were very friendly, taking extra time to answer our questions and share some tips. The price for the system was within a range I consider reasonable, especially giving the quality of the system and quality of installation work. Daflure will continue to be our go-to for all things related to our home's HVAC and related items. A big shout out to Nick, Phil, Tim and the entire Daflure team for hitting another home run!

We needed to replace our central air unit. It was over 15 years old and it could not be repaired…read more After looking online for an air conditioning specialist I came across Scientific Air Conditioning. After seeing their bio from other customers I contacted them but found they were not taking any new customers. I decided to leave a message to see if he could give me a recommendation of who he would use in his home, if needed. I explained to him we both had serious breathing issues and used oxygen in the home. He returned our call that day and we talk about what our needs might be. He suggested coming to our home and doing a walk through. He introduced us to the Mitsubishi Split System that provides both heating and cooling. This also ended the need for us to use our old, dirty vent system which was a huge benefit for our lungs. Joe was excellent to work with. He answered our questions truthfully and he did what he said he would do. Joe is well versed and knowledgeable in the AC/HEATING field. He scheduled our job for one day and he would have met that goal if it had not been for a late afternoon thunderstorm. He was back in the morning and finished our job before noon. He does his job thoroughly, cleans as he goes and there was no clean up work for us upon his leaving. Joe is a very likeable gentlemen who was truthfully in meeting our needs. We would not hesitate in recommending Scientific Air Conditioning for anyone who needs these jobs done. Joe is a Five Star businessman. Ron & Kate Perry County, Pennsylvania

He thoroughly checked out our system and said it would be good for another couple of years. Fast forward years later, ground hogs had gotten into our crawl space and tore out all the insulation away from our ducts among other damage, several of our rooms were not getting any heat or air. Joseph came out and gave us an estimate to replace our heater and air conditioning. His was the lowest estimate and we knew we could trust him. He got us good deals, with discounts to work within our budget. First day he was here he spent 8 hours repairing and replacing everything in the crawl space!!! I couldn't believe he worked in that small space for that long. He and his workers were very respectful, one told us that no one else would spend the time he did figuring out problems and making sure we would be happy with our new system. He came back a few weeks later to make sure we were happy with everything and that everything was working properly. He did a very thorough inspection of everything and even complimented my husband on his landscaping around the air conditioning unit. I would feel confident in recommending Scientific Air to anyone and everyone.
