Excellent timely coating service on my chassis and engine sheet metal for my 1967 Karmann Ghia.

I came here trying to support my local business. When dropping the bars off I spoke with jeff who…read morewas in the office and told him what I wanted for paint and flake for my bars. Jeff told me that Adam would be contacting my to get the color and flake desire. I never got a call nore and email. After waiting a week n half I was told they were ready for pickup. When I went to pickup the bars they were painted incorrect paint color/ combo. Wasn't painted like I asked for. I asked for gloss black and a little bronze and red flake. They basically painted the bars black with a shit tone of gold flake and with very little red flake. When asked why it was painted this color. I was told by jeff that I asked for it that way. When I specifically asked for gloss black and a little bit of flake in the paint to make it pop. After being basically yelled at by jeff saying that's what I ordered, I was told to take my bars and get out. To which I paid for the incorrect paint job and left due to the fact they wouldn't repaint them like I asked. Stating that they wouldn't eat the bill for repainting my stuff. I just wanted to get what I asked and paid for NOW I'm forced to take it to another powder coating place or just leave it. Seriously Poor communication from the staff. Which lead to incorrect painting to be done. "Isn't that what you do"? "Isn't that what this place is for"? I Wouldn't recommend anyone come to this place. There are other powder coating places that are WAY MORE PROFESSIONAL than this. PLUS, you won't have to yelled/talked at by JEFF zero stars

After seeing some of the reviews from a few years ago, I was skeptical of using this place. I came…read moredown to their shop and discussed my project with their manager. He took his time and went over my project with detail. He also recommended his paint shop in Arlington for epoxy prime on my parts when they were finished so I could complete my work before going on with the project. We also discussed some of the negative reviews that I read and the manager addressed them. They have a new but experienced team in place and I have put a lot of attention and detail into the equipment as well as the finished product for their customers. I HIGHLY recommend this shop. They did a fantastic job and their prices were within my budget as well. I will be back.

Negative stars if I could... I wanted to share my very bad experience with this business (now…read morecalled Aerotech Manufacturing - Blasting). I had a set of four wheels dropped off for them to sandblast. When I first spoke to Ken over the phone for a quote, I specifically ask "How much to media blast a set of four brand new 20 inch wheels and have it ready for powder coating at another shop?" His response was "I can do them for $200." Then when it came time to pick them up, the same Ken then said the quote was for each wheel and claims he never said it was for all of them. He insisted that they had put 4.5 hours into this job and proceeded to charge me $655.20. Now even if I misheard (which I know I didn't because I wrote it down)... are they telling me their quote for simply sandblasting a set of four wheels is $800???!!! That is insane!!! Why would I agree to that??? Why would anyone???? The wheels are nothing special; they are brand new, lightly painted, split 5 spoke wheels... not chrome, not powder coated or anything crazy. They did not need any repairs or removing any wheel weights or anything like that. Every other place I called quoted me about an hour labor to sand blast all four wheels! Which works out to be around $200 or less depending on shop rates. I made the mistake of being too trustworthy and not getting anything in writing before work was done. When I asked to speak to the owner, I had the displeasure of speaking to the owner's wife, Lynee... which accomplished nothing to resolve our dispute. She even tried to bribe me by offering a small "discount" in exchange for not posting negative reviews online... no thanks. Anyways, I hope this serves as a warning for everyone to stay away... or at least use them at your own risk. Everyone's experience with them can be different. You may have the best experience with them... but there is no doubt I was "selected" for their "special" rate.
