That kind of no-pressure, transparent approach is rare these days and is a big reason we keep coming back. The entire staff and team are friendly, knowledgeable, and clearly take pride in their work. From the moment you walk in to the time you pick up your car, you feel like your vehicle is in capable hands. They've been consistently reliable, fair, and straightforward. Auto repair experiences aren't always perfect, but what matters is trust -- and these are good people you can trust. The pricing feels fair, the work is solid, and the service is dependable. Since I was close to San Bruno, I looked for a gas station with a auto shop. I was directed to the 76 but no one was in the shop, this was close to 5pm. I waited for a minute or so and when I looked around, I saw the Pit Stop across the street. It seemed like the owner/manager was moving cars around to close up for the day. I drove up to him and explained the problem and that I didn't want a tire to blow up on the way home. He didn't hesitate to tell me to pull up and he would check for me. No hesitation about it being closing time or anything. He pulled my car in and asked one of his technicians to check the tires. Done in 5 minutes and when asked him how much it was, he told me it that there was no charge. Its not about the price but that fact that he didn't hesitate to help when he heard that it might be a problem for me to get home.

After picking up my car, it stalled twice within 10 hours. The first time was getting off Highway 101 at the Octavia exit. The second time was at Arguello and California Street, where there were pedestrians crossing and I had absolutely no control of my car. My life and the lives of others were put at risk. The same problem that was supposedly fixed months ago came back immediately. When I asked for the diagnostic codes from both visits, they were never provided. Communication throughout this entire process was okay, they were helpful and responsive, however the second repair for the infold manitake, I had to fight for the warranty to cover the labor for the second repair. To top it all off, I received a parking ticket while my car was in their care because it was not moved for street cleaning. I filed a complaint with the California Bureau of Automotive Repair. I was interested in one of the lease specials advertised by the dealership on their website and contacted a salesperson by text to get a quote. He responded that he would be happy to send me a quote, but first wanted to know if I was ready to move forward and could come in if they worked out the deal I was looking for. I explained that I was not interested in coming in and was simply getting lease quotes at this point. His response was: "Since you live so far away, I'm not interested in giving you a quote to shop around with." I was honestly surprised by this response. I understand that a dealership doesn't have to offer a particular price, but refusing to provide a quote simply because a customer wants to compare offers seems like a poor way to treat a potential customer--especially someone who already drives a Kia and is looking to lease another Kia. I wasn't asking them to hold a vehicle or spend hours with me at the dealership. I was simply asking for their lease numbers so I could compare them with other Kia dealers. I'm including the screenshot of the conversation so people can judge the interaction for themselves.
