If you bring your car to service here. please be careful! i say again careful on who you leave your car with. they will leave your car on around the neighborhood not reading street signs, getting vehicles tickets. will also leave vehicles unattended, big trucks go through the streets and unfortunately will hit parked cars. they will also double park in peoples driveways. They tend to blame neighbors for scratching customers vehicles

    Parking tickets to customers.

Customer cars ticketed. If you are leaving your car for repair overnight, they probably aren't parking them in their own private spaces but on public streets.

As well as submitted a claim below, I want to say that Nicolas is trying to solve part of my disagreements. I was totally upset with part of their job and treatment. Nicolas called me and he tried to fix our discrepancies in a gentle and calm way. We are still working to solve the small hole in my hood. He also was very concern to make me feel more comfortable, being more agreeable because the first time I perceived a comment no welcome. 12/29/2020 They changed the engine in my car and overlooked repairing the tension pulley that works with the motor. The car made a terrible noise and I had to take it back, I had to pay again for the labor, which is fine, what is not right is that they charged highly saying that they had changed the entire engine and everything that it had to do with the engine, leaving it in top condition. Not only that, my car left a small hole in the front lid and they left a piece of wood inside where the engine is that could have fallen while driving and have done irreparable damage to any part of the bottom where they left it pressed. When I took my car back, they just grabbed the piece of wood and put it away, and Nicolas, with an insolence attitude, alleged that they didn't make a hole in the top of my car because they don't have such carelessness. According to him, I am ungrateful because I complain after they gave me a "discount..." the deal was paying the whole cost in cash for them. That is the amazing discount, according to Nicolas that is a discount and for which I should not complain. Finally, Mr. Nicolas emphasized that how come I asked many questions and how come I did not realize the little hole.. That comment made me feel uncomfortable as a women. It happened between December 15 to December 28, and they have a week off in between. 12/28/2020

Horrible and unsatisfactory install of a brand new clutch and flywheel. Price was too high for such shoddy work.

The good: the service was quick and the staff were very nice. They explained everything and recommended additional services. That's where they got me! My $45 oil change turned into $165! Now I agreed to the services so it's on me. I was being lazy and should just do certain things myself. For example, I got charged $20 for a third brake light bulb. I later checked O'Reilly and its a $10 bulb. I also agreed to a new cabin air filter...$65! I checked O'Reilly and its $25. If I wanted the expensive K&N brand, it was $50. UGH! All in all the experience was good. DIY to save money OR if you don't have the time or ability, let Jiffy Lube do it but you're gonna pay!

Paid a premium full price for it too even though I had multiple coupons that "weren't valid". Found out months later by a family member that my oil levels are low, they only filled half, the oil they used was super black, not full synthetic. They did not offer to change my coolant or steering fluid even after I asked. Also they tighten your valve so hard you would never be able to change your own oil at home. You'd be forced to go back to a shop to get your oil change. Never ever coming back here again and highly DO NOT RECOMMEND anyone else to come here either.

This business had great reviews on yelp and google so I wanted to try it out. And I wanted to see if this was a shop I could regularly come to as I recently moved close-by. I walked in and after roaming around to find someone, I started speaking with an employee who said the owner Mike was not in. He said in order to inspect the air conditioning, it would be at least $200 which is also their price for an oil change. So I should just get an oil change and they would do many things including looking into the air conditioning. He didn't say it was a full air conditioning check. Yet he said they could let me know what the problem might be and he would note it. I didn't really need an oil change. I don't think I was even half way there. I decided to try it out and see how this place was. The owner Mike called me back multiple hours later letting me know my car was done. I asked him about the air conditioning and he said he didn't even look into the air conditioning and that I came for an oil change. He said it would be $240 to look into what the problem was with the air conditioning. He said that was just to inspect it though and no guarantee of fixing anything. I was irritated and he then told me I was a cheap person. We were on speaker phone in the car with my girlfriend and her friend who both said they didn't like this guy, were not comfortable with him, that he didn't know how to talk to people, the way he spoke was not professional, and that I shouldn't work with him, because there are other mechanics I could go to that were good. Ultimately I decided to go pick up my car. It was a very awkward conversation with the owner in his little office room. I went to pay and I wasn't very comfortable paying, because this is not what I came there for. I decided to pay uncomfortably and observed the way the owner Mike was and he seemed pretty arrogant and with an attitude after done of 'here are your keys. Go walk over to your car and get it yourself.' I was trying to get input on what he saw in the car on his service as well and he casually mentioned multiple things he saw and didn't seem interested in explaining much at all. Really weird experience here especially contrasting to the other good reviews for this business. I guess he goes above and beyond for other customers. Wasn't the case with me.

The deets: I have a 1999 NB Mazda Miata with a rebuilt engine, but your mileage may vary. Let me start off this review by saying, good "Mom and Pop" mechanics and support staff are hard to find. To wit: PR Motorsports in Hayward closed a few years ago because the main and only mechanic had "an offer he couldn't refuse." When Mr. Mazda changed owners due to unforseen circumstances, well, I'll stop short there. What Auto Logic delivers is a world-class auto experience in every category: Customer Service, Communication, Attention to Detail, Value, Service and All-Around "Good Karma" vibe. My auto service need was fixing a leaky engine (from the aforementioned rebuild) that was LONG overdue. After an initial assesment, the estimate was up to a 2-day job and co$t wise, ended just being a little "teensy weensy" over the initial estimate price. I didn't care, because the constant calls to my cell phone regarding updates eased my concern. Timewise, the job took just a little over one day. That's it really. Only to say that I forgot how beautiful the drive is on H280 to and from my locale in the South Bay.

The staff was immediately friendly in that effortless way that doesn't feel scripted or forced. No awkward upselling theater, no mysterious jargon that makes you feel like your car is secretly falling apart in slow motion. Just straightforward explanations, clear pricing, and the unsettling realization that this might actually be... easy? The service itself was fast--like "wait, that's it?" fast--but still had that thorough, checklist-complete energy that reassures you they didn't just pop the hood, nod seriously, and hope for the best. It was efficient without feeling rushed, which feels increasingly rare in the modern world. And then there's the location situation, which honestly deserves its own review section called "The Accidental Food Corridor of Daly City." While waiting, you're basically within walking distance of an entire supporting cast of snack destiny: Little Caesars quietly doing what it does--hot, fast, unapologetic pizza energy Subway offering the classic "I should probably be responsible" sandwich option 7-Eleven standing ready with existentially necessary snacks and beverages Krispy Krunchy Chicken bringing dangerously crispy temptation into the mix Starbread Bakery quietly sabotaging any intention of "just being nearby" with warm, sugary inevitability It starts to feel less like an oil change appointment and more like you accidentally scheduled yourself into a snack-themed amusement district while your car gets serviced. By the time everything was done, the car was ready, the pricing felt fair, and I was briefly convinced that this might be the most efficiently located cluster of practical errands and emotional food decisions in Daly City. I came in for maintenance. I left with a refreshed vehicle, a suspicious appreciation for operational efficiency, and a mental list of baked goods I definitely didn't need but absolutely considered.
