This…read moreparty boat was less than 5 min from us and we had tickets for the Italian dinner cruise with live entertainment. It did not disappoint. As we entered, the tables on the main deck were arranged to fit party groups of either 6 or 8 guests and a table for 2. The buffet food was arranged at the front of the dining area and the musician (acoustic guitar) next to it. He did a wonderful job of singing and playing both guitar and harmonica. Upstairs, they had tall tables with a few metallic stools. So happy the room was air-conditioned. Serve yourself was near immediate. Bar and drinks were upstairs on the observation deck. Soft drinks and tea were included. The accommodations up there were tall tables and a few metallic stools To the food: The assorted greens salad was fresh with your choice of salad dressings. Then rolls with real butter, followed with spaghetti with meatballs and a pasta with shrimp and parmesan, and chicken parm cutlets. Potato salad and a caprese salad of sliced mozzarella and tomatoes topped with a balsamic dressing. There was enough for seconds. Close to the end of the cruise, they brought out some desserts that looked like magazine quality. Cheesecake, chocolate layered cake, carrot cake, and lemon bars. All were very rich, and nothing was left. The staff could not have been nicer and very efficient. It's a really great crew. There is plenty of free parking. One note, this is not a wheelchair accessible due to a series of steps.

We actually…read moreoriginally wanted an afternoon cruise, but by the time I went to actually book it, the time was sold out. So book early, however, the sunset cruise is definitely the way to go! I thought about how the cruise would have been minus the sunset, and it would have been ok; however, the sunset was gorgeous, so I highly recommend that time slot. The cost, I believe was $16 per person, and drinks are available on board (both alcoholic and non-alcoholic). The cruise length is 2 hours and goes up the Susquehanna River and then back down to the Susquehanna Inlet where the river meets the Bay. The captain was friendly and eager to talk about the high points of the sights along the river. Most parties were able to go without sharing a table (they are long tables), but my husband and I offered to share with another couple so they could also have access to the water views rather than sit in the interior. The pick up and drop off point is a short walk from the town center, but there is also a parking lot you can park in. Bathrooms are available in the parking lot as well as on the boat. I'd definitely recommend booking a cruise, especially the sunset cruise, if you are in Havre de Grace!

It's to the (R) of Schaefer's restaurant. When we finally found someone they were helpful. We went on the Sunday 4pm (2 hr cruise). We ended up getting one of the booths at the back of the boat and sat by the bar area. You can bring any food and/or drinks you want onto the boat which is great. Otherwise they have a fully stocked bar in the back and prices aren't too bad. They inform you of all of the birds and anything if significance you pass. Tom & Steve are the owners. They are very nice. The cost was $19 per adult and $10 per kiddo. I did appreciate that they didn't play any music so we could converse.

Looking for something fun, relaxing, and possibly romantic to do in Baltimore? American Sailing…read moreTours has you covered! Glancing around Baltimore's Inner Harbor, it's not hard to fantasize about spending time on sailboat. Problem is: unless you've devoted serious cash to owning and maintaining a boat, or you "have connections," your fantasies will remain as such. That's when American Sailing Tours comes in - from the price to the convenience to the experience - AST offers exactly what you're looking for. I found the company through Yelp (I mean...hello!), and based on the description, I figured an experience with American Sailing Tours was beyond my price point. Well, I was wrong. For around $40/person, AST provides a semi-private (up to 6 guests) sailing excursion around Baltimore's scenic Harbor. Depending on the time of day, they offer different sailing experiences (i.e. a Sunset Sail, a Wine & Cheese Sail, an Moonlight Sail, etc.) - and each tour lasts around 90 minutes, unless otherwise specified. I recently enjoyed the Baltimore Harbor Sail on a Sunday afternoon with my boyfriend. Captain Tom greeted us at the gate (as the confirmation email had detailed) - and after meeting the four other people whom were also scheduled to sail at that time, we walked to board the sailboat. Captain Tom and the other staff member (I'm terrible - I forgot his name!) were both welcoming and kind - and we felt safe and comfortable, immediately. As we began to sail around, they played relaxing music, and needless to say, the experience couldn't have been better. 90 minutes flew by while sailing in Baltimore, yet I'm so glad I had the chance to do so! Thanks to the affordable price, and the memorable experience - not only did I have a lovely time, but I will most certainly be back to sail again. If you want to unwind, and sailing appeals to you - I couldn't recommend American Sailing Tours more! P.S. Regardless of the "type" of Sail Tour, they always provide non-alcoholic beverages. You're also welcomed to bring your own alcoholic beverage(s) and food, whenever, as well. P.P.S. Private charters are also available at an additional cost, if that's your thing. :)

The tour we took was $25 per person. Picking up the tickets I preordered was easy. With boarding, no one told us when it was time to board though we were sitting at the dock, but we saw a group going and went along with them. Seating on the boat included an upper deck to enjoy the air; my family preferred the lower deck which was booth style. We found a booth together easily. There were large windows to look outside, but the narration was prerecorded and kind of quiet. Occasionally a crew member would chime in. The narration was always pointing out things on the starboard side, so keep that in mind. The interior seemed kind of outdated overall and most of the other people on the tour were on the elderly side, so it might cater more towards that audience. Overall, this was an okay tour of the harbor. The price was fine for what it was, but I wouldn't personally choose to do this tour again. I know there are other options that might be better through the company, so only speaking from my experience with what I described.

Kensington Tours stepped in and managed to find flights and hotels for me with less than 12 days notice. They answered all my questions about the visa I would need, which airport I should fly into, and every little thing in between. They coordinated everything seamlessly - from the airport pickup to my hotel, and then from the hotel to the domestic airport the next morning. They even planned the flight so that when I landed, my sister and our amazing guide were waiting for me right on the tarmac. And can we talk about the hotels? Kensington Tours really knows how to pick them. I felt so pampered and well taken care of at every stop. If you're looking for a luxury tour that lets you experience incredible wildlife and stunning landscapes while having every detail handled, this is the company to book with. They truly take care of everything! Plus, as a solo female traveler in a foreign country, I felt completely safe the entire time.
