Terrible communication and I'm half I didn't wait for their call.

I've been going there for a few years for my son. I really dislike the three point system. If you…read morehave an emergency, you're only allowed to have two of them within a three month period because otherwise you get kicked out of the program and have to be on call for 2 or 3 months until they will allow you to be on a schedule again. Meanwhile, their therapists are allowed to cancel last minute as many times as they want. You aren't allowed to cancel a piggyback appointment when one therapist counsels last minute. It's extremely unfair. I've been complaining to the scheduling department for a while now, and nothing has changed, so i'm going to start a petition to get the owners' attention.

He goes above and beyond in communication from planning ahead, to following up, and to even last minute changes. Hannah, my daughter is able to say and associate 15 words in only three months with just 2 visits a month. And ryan is super patient and extremely engaged with hannah. Even when my kid is cranky bcuz of lack of sleep or is just hungry. I'm so grateful for ryan and appreciate everything he has done so far

Then I spoke with Anna at Let's Talk, and she encouraged me to give the Let's Talk Southwest location a chance. I was hesitant, but her words and character truly made me feel like she believed in the therapists there and genuinely cared. I decided to bring my little one in, and from the very beginning, Anna and Erica at the front desk were so kind, welcoming, and sweet. We then began therapy with Ms. Lindsey, and I cannot express enough how grateful I am for her. Ms. Lindsey has worked diligently to truly learn and understand my son. She does not treat him in a cookie-cutter way. She acknowledges his individuality, uniqueness, and specific needs. She pays close attention to what works for him and what does not, and she treats him with genuine love, patience, and care. I have personally told these amazing individuals that they have brought tears of happiness to my eyes and joy to my heart seeing how much my baby's speech has improved, along with his ability to express himself and communicate more confidently. I truly cannot express my gratitude enough. Let's Talk Southwest is amazing, and I would recommend them 100 times over. I was referred to Clubhouse by our foster care case worker. We have had our two boys (3 & 5 yo) in…read moretheir program twice a week for at least a year now. Once a week they come to the house and once a week we take the kids there. The staff is just incredible. They take a personal interest in our boys and the boys really look forward to going there. For example, my boys are obsessed with superheros, so once a month, Clubhouse has a Superhero Day just for them where all the students (and even the staff) wear superhero costumes. Whatever it takes to make learning fun. My boys had speech and motor skill delays and it is so exciting to see the progress. We celebrate every milestone. I love and admire the Clubhouse staff. Thanks for everything that you have done (and have yet to do) for my boys.

The written evaluation indicated that a home plan had been developed when, in fact, it hadn't. They avoided my questions regarding activities during sessions. I could hear my child crying during sessions but the staff was not able to tell me what activities they cried during; even when the staff brought my teary eyed child to me they didn't know why they were crying. We found a provider that is able to meet my child's specific needs and communicate with me.

My child with autism was recently discharged from the speech therapy solely because she reached an age cutoff. (she is only 15), despite her clear and ongoing need for speech and communication support. Speech therapy is a long-term necessity for autistic children, not something they "outgrow" at specific age. The age should never be a factor in determining whether an autistic teenager receives speech therapy! All autistic children/teenagers are at different levels when it comes to speech. The fact that even the owner of the company was not able to help is incredibly disheartening. Dropping a child from therapy due to age rather than her actual progress is unacceptable and unethical! The therapist just handed me a piece of paper with a list of places to call that offer social group settings for my child which I did has not been successful. Most of these places that I contacted have long wait lists for speech therapy. So now my child is stuck, I am going through a lot of hassle and stress, and Speakeasy is a big Disappointment! This company is failing the autism community, unfortunately!

We are incredibly happy with the services at Sounds Good Speech Therapy. Our grandson, 5 years old…read moreand getting ready for kindergarten, was struggling with a speech delay. A friend recommended this place, so we checked it out -- and we're so grateful we did. The space is quaint, bright, peaceful, and very child-friendly. The small waiting area has great activities to keep kids calm and entertained. We met with Hession for the evaluation, and with his parents' consent (their schedules are crazy, so we stepped in), my grandson, who is usually extremely shy and hesitant in new settings, started to warm up surprisingly fast. He explored the room, showed curiosity, and even initiated communication. Hession truly has a natural gift with children -- her approach works, especially with reluctant little ones. Fast-forward almost 6 months, and the progress is undeniable. Our grandson now forms 3-4 word sentences, shows interest in reading, counting, and simple word games -- activities he once avoided completely. His parents take him once a week, and we take him another day. We feel optimistic that, in time, he'll be ready to thrive in a regular classroom setting.
