I've been attending this practice for at least 15 years. I refuse to go anywhere else. When a doctor suggests Physical Therapy, I say I've got a guy. The therapists and technicians are very well-trained, very competent, and very polite. Their only goal is to help you get better. At my age I need that often. I am new to Las Vegas, but unfortunately I have had lots of PT at various places in SoCal. I had surgery in SoCal, but obviously could not get therapy on an ongoing basis there. I called to set an appointment but the Receptionist is judgemental and doesn't listen to what I want to express like making me feel stupid.

On a recommendation I scheduled my first appointment with dr lapka for a "preventative" evaluation prior to getting back into a solid gym routine. The reception staff are very inviting and the waiting is really cozy. I had a quick conversation with the doctor and we started right in to session. I was giving a warm compress and a quick massage to loosen up. That was followed up with a graston procedure. I was given a few stretches to do at home and the best ways to stay loose when driving long distances for work. Amazing experience and very helpful. Can't wait to continue along with the team they have. read more

Having lived an active life in Vegas for 30 years, I have needed physical therapy care on average every 5 years. The growth of this town has afforded an influx of physical therapists but they all seemed to have the same protocol. First, they evaluate your ability , then demonstrate how to do the exercises, and each time you come in, you do them. If you are lucky, one of the therapists will actually watch while you do them. Four to six weeks later, they reevaluate you, and send you on your way whether or not your issues are resolved. Their job is done. Good luck with your recovery! That all changed with Performance and Danny. From the first call to make an appointment, through the last evaluation, I felt cared for and had "teammates" determined to take me over the goal line! Having incurred a full spinal whiplash at the age of 25, I am now 67 years young with 40 years of PT, Rolfing, and other body work done over those years; six spine surgeries, muscle atrophy, nerve damage and weakness, yea me! lol After test driving other PT providers in Vegas, and the good ones are few and far between, I found Performance PT the most healing centric. Although H2O therapy was prescribed, the one H2O provider I found in Vegas could not schedule an appointment correctly, and I felt the environment somewhat hostile. I have been to Performance twice now in 2017 in which I tore my ACL and in 2022 which I tore my meniscus both playing high school and college lacrosse. I was sooo lucky to find Performance Physical therapy and Danny Antonino at the time I did. I'd had hip pain from an old injury for five years and had tried everything, including other excellent physical therapists. I picked Danny because he was listed by an organization another PT recommended, and he actually did bodywork in his office instead of just prescribing exercises. I've been to tons of physical therapists and have even been a physical therapy student briefly, and can say that Danny is the best I've ever met. Performance is personally the best physical therapy I have ever been to and I been to several in the L.V. Area. First off the staff is amazing from their friendly personalities to their professionalism. Both me and my husband go to Performance for back and neck issues. The staff will get you feeling better from showing you the best workouts for your injury and explaining ways you can work on yourself outside the facility. My father was severely injured due to an accident that occurred at work. My family and I tried different therapy groups before we found this clinic. It didn't take long for us to decided that Performance Physical Therapy is the perfect place for him to receive all his treatments. Pro(s): -Friendly and Welcoming receptionists.
