I'm new to the area and was referred here after giving birth to my first child. I called multiple times leading up to the appointment to get details and could not get in touch with anyone. I was running about 5 minutes late due to having to feed my newborn and then was setback even further after getting lost.
I called before the appointment to communicate that I was running slightly behind and got a voicemail box. I called again once I was close for help finding to office and still couldn't get in touch with anyone, only to get a notification that I was no-showed as soon as I was able to find the office on the building directory. I immediately called once again and then finally got in touch with someone via phone for the first time as I walked in, only to be told I needed to reschedule.
Help should be easily accesible so that people don't waste their time. And I find it incredibly frustrating that the therapist couldn't even be bothered to meet me. I was 10 minutes late, I would hope our appointment would've been longer than that so I can't imagine that she was busy.
For a physical therapy office that sees people who are struggling physically because they are postpartum like myself, or injured, elderly, etc, you would think there would be more grace and consideration for people's situations and the various struggles they may have encountered to just get into the building.
I don't think this is good way to show care for new patients and now I will have to further inconvenience myself to make arrangements for an appointment elsewhere. read more
