We would show up for therapy and "Surprise! No therapy today!" Other times, they would text, which still was an inconvenience because my son needed the therapy. I decided to start taking my son to a different place and have seen more improvement in 2 months than I did at Dream Therapies (about a year). Also, my son was diagnosed with apraxia (by the new therapist at the new place), which is so important for me to know as a parent so I can get him the help he needs. Thinking back, I should have left the first day when Dream Therapies told me my son would most likely never talk. Please research better places and run away from this place for your kid's sake.

During this non approval status we were told not to attend. After a month of waiting they got the approvals. This is where the worst came out in them. The office manager (Alexa) called my wife and said we missed several appointments during that time and they were going to cancel our sons services. He wasn't scheduled to be in for ANY sessions until the week after they called. They put an appointment into the system for a joint phone call on November 15th with the insurance company, we complied and because it was over the phone they called it a missed appointment. The others weren't even scheduled with us or approved by insurance! After days of arguing we decided to switch providers, a guarantee provided to us by our insurance companies and agreements they have to sign with the state. As a healthcare provider I know this because we service the same insurance company. The day we cancelled services they called child protected services and said our son is abused and in great danger. Child services examined as they were supposed to and followed up with the neurologist, pediatrician, family and friends and closed the case within 2 days because absolutely nothing was wrong. This was an attempt to get him to return to their services and guarantee the pay approved by insurance. Today the pediatrician gets a letter that is very similar to the complaint they made to CPS. The pediatricians response is only to note how unprofessional they are. The neurologist gets a letter that matches and they tell us how they refuse to refer people to dream therapies anymore because this is the 3rd or 4th time this has happened to people just from them. This healthcare practice is unethical and goes against the entire code of conduct in which we all agree to operate on. Complaints will be conducted with all governing licensing agencies and medical boards that oversee the staff involved in these issues. And to top it off, today (the same day the other doctor gets a letter of how our kid is in danger and they cancelled him for non compliance) we got a letter asking us to hurry up and schedule a new appointment. For those of you with insurance that requires you to get a referral, please, I beg you, call the referring doctor and ask for a different referral to a reputable and ethical facility who will hold their oath to do the best for their patients and not their pockets!!!

I have bone-on-bone wrist pain, and the Xray tech grabbed my wrist very hard, without notice nor permission. She pulled my hand hard and when I muttered "f**k" from the pain, she tweaked at me for expressing pain in my own way. I didn't yell, didn't direct it at her, just the pain from her mistreatment. Then, the doctor finally came in, more than 3 hours after our arrival. First words out of her mouth were to castigate me for muttering a curse word out of pain while in Xray. She also cussed me out for not filling out that I'd experienced leg and back breaks, neither of which have any bearing on my wrist. She then tells me I'm "bone-on-bone" and arthritic. Thank you for telling me what my GP already told me. I was already aware of that; I'm looking for SOLUTIONS, not a re-diagnosis. She's a pill-pusher and was surprised that I didn't want hydrocodone or oxycodone. I don't take meds that make me dumb and dizzy. She thought that odd, and said so. She offered up a wrist brace that "you should go buy on Amazon." My GP told me I'd be certainly requiring surgery. She informs me that he's wrong, she doesn't believe in surgery, and believes in holistic medicine with a brace on 8 hours a day and if that doesn't relieve the problem, I should return. It was all I could do to not tell her ChatGPT gave me far more information than she did. She was flat, no personality, made me very angry at the 3.5 hour wait and the Xray experience with no apology, no commentary other than to treat me, a nearly 70-y/o person like a scolded child for cursing when I experienced unnecessary pain from a "nurse." I failed to mention their building is mis-labeled, so one has to walk around the entire building with poorly labeled signs. They're very aware of the misdirection; the signs indicate as much. They're not new signs, so rather than fix the signage, one is expected to park two lots away and walk around. This entire office defines "sh*tshow. Won't be returning. Second worst medical experience in nearly seven decades. In summary; - 3.5 hours from arrival time to see Dr. - Xray tech was abusive. - Dr. offered no solutions to pain except "buy this on Amazon" - Non-communicative staff.
