Champion Circle at the best location ever

Hands down the best location to meet your Therapy Needs!! My husband is a stroke survivor and was in need of both OT & PT. We were very fortunate to come across this facility and saw the service difference from day one of evaluation. The staff is very professional and treats you with the utmost kindness. Our family is always greeted upon sign in -- shout out to Aura & Amanda. These ladies are super friendly and their energy is infectious. Jerome, my husband's PT truly made an impact during his evaluation. He was very patient with him, expressed TEAM WORK, and even gave him a boost of confidence in just the few days we were scheduled. Thank you Joe (PTA) for motivating and leaving Justin exhausted during his visits. No PAIN No GAIN right? Carol & Lovelin, ( OT Team) You guys are incredible!! Thank you for all your hard work DVT Washington Team.

    Waiting area! Very interesting place

Both of these therapists received their advanced graduate degrees in PT at the University of Southern California. I am more than happy to say I just finished a successful course of treatment with Jeff Dietrich for advanced degenerative changes in my lumbar back, including severe spinal canal stenosis, nerve compression, disc protrusions and bulges, and multilevel lumbar facet arthropathy. I am a late-70s female, lifelong athlete and musician who has no intention of sitting around. About Jeff Dietrich: Jeff's technical expertise and advanced knowledge of spine rehabilitation are world-class. I say this because he is the 5th physical therapist I have seen in the 7 years, and the only one who was able to use multiple approaches to solve my pain issues and relearn proper body mechanics--without steroid injections or surgery. On a personal level, he is meticulously focused on the patient's needs and observant of their personal goals. Jeff is also an excellent listener and teacher with the emotional intelligence to motivate anyone willing to commit to the consistent work of physical therapy. I am very grateful that my physician, William Rosenberg, M.D., referred me to JD for rehab. Not only is the staff friendly and efficient, but now I can again participate in the physical activities that bring me joy, without the pain. Big "thanks" to all!

From day one, she made me feel comfortable, listened to my concerns, and tailored the therapy to exactly what I needed. Even after I was officially cleared, I chose to keep scheduling with her because of how much better she made me feel, especially with my tight back muscles. She has an incredible way of combining professionalism with genuine care, and every appointment leaves me feeling better. 10/10 for Dr. Jessie!

On surgery day, he even moved the incision site a little to avoid my hand tattoo! He's pretty awesome! I did have some issues because my surgery was near Christmas so my sutures should have come out in 5 days. But I was scheduled for 12 days post op to get them out. I ended up going to urgent care the day afyer Christmas and got out on 2 weeks of antibiotics because it got infected and a couple areas tore and made a hole. Even the urgent care doc said those stitches need to come out ASAP! Stitches came out Monday, even the tech was saying they were left in too long. Oh well. Besides from the scheduling mess up, the fact I'm not in constant pain is wonderful! Thank you Dr. Laroche for helping me!

Horrible cumbersome technology as well. 1) After reading about possible solutions to physical problems with your joints, it is apparent they are going to do the bare minimum in order to keep a low risk management profile. The lawyers run this place, not the doctors. 2) They want you to check in ahead of time via internet. Ok fine. But instead of a questionnaire where you check a box about cancer, diabetes, etc and hit submit at the end (like MOST doctors), you have to answer each question individually with a slow tedious dropdown with lots of clicks and processing time in between. Prepare to spend 45 mins. Again, its all about legal risk management for them. 3) They have more questions than the average doctor and frankly most of them are not relevant to your condition. Risk management. 4) They require you fill out the same tedious questionnaire and upload your insurance and driver's license EACH VISIT. I repeat EACH VISIT, even it if was just a week ago. Most doctors just want you to verify your contact information and emergency contact. Not them. 5) Additionally, they want you to show up 30 MINS BEFORE the appointment to "CHECK IN", even if you have already done with their tedious website and were there a week earlier. ***THEY WILL NOT SEE YOU OTHERWISE***. 6) So you get there and check in 30 mins early, but they make YOU wait at least 30 mins past the appointment before they call you back. So a full hour of doing nothing. And then you will wait another 15 mins before the doctor finally shows up. 7) They will NOT see you for more than one condition per visit. If you have a problem with your knee and your shoulder, they require you make separate visits with the long check in process despite the burden on the patient. TONEDEAF.

I initially had a positive experience at Nevada Spine Clinic (Dr. Christopher Fisher's office), and…read moreI even left a favorable review. Unfortunately, what followed has been a complete breakdown in continuity of care and communication. I was treated for lumbar radiculopathy and lumbar spondylosis and previously underwent a nerve ablation at this clinic. As part of my treatment plan, I was prescribed a SAM (Sustained Acoustic Medicine) wearable ultrasound device. The first two prescriptions were handled without issue, and I used the device exactly as directed. It worked--I experienced real relief in both my lower and upper back. I even told PA Rosa directly that the device was helping. When it came time for a continuation prescription, the clinic abruptly refused and told me to "go back to my primary doctor at the VA"--with no coordination, no referral, and no clinical explanation. This was a treatment they initiated, yet there was no plan to ensure continuity of care. What followed was even more concerning: * I left multiple messages with Bridgette requesting a callback * I spoke with Flora, who identified herself as Dr. Fisher's scheduler and supervisor over scheduling staff. She stated she would follow up, she never did * I left additional voicemail messages and received no responses No patient should have to chase down basic communication--especially while dealing with ongoing pain. While my ablation was done some time ago, the VA had been in the process of coordinating further treatment for my upper back. After this experience, I no longer feel comfortable returning to this clinic. The result of all of this has been a gap in care, increased pain, and unnecessary stress trying to navigate something that should have been handled by the treating provider. Due to the seriousness of the breakdown in care and lack of response, I am preparing to file a formal complaint with the Nevada State Board of Medical Examiners if this is not resolved. From a patient perspective, the following issues are particularly concerning: Failure of Continuity of Care: The clinic initiated and managed this treatment. Abruptly discontinuing support without ensuring proper transition or coordination with another provider represents a breakdown in continuity of care. This raises concerns under NRS 630.306(2), which defines unprofessional conduct as failure to provide medical services in a manner consistent with accepted standards of practice. Lack of Medical Justification: No clinical explanation was provided for discontinuing a treatment that had already been deemed medically necessary and was actively benefiting my condition. I communicated directly to PA Rosa as well as ancillary staff that I was receiving relief from use of the device, yet this was not meaningfully considered. This may fall below the standard of care under NRS 630.301(4). Absence of Care Coordination: I was not provided a referral, assistance transferring care or prescriptions, communication with my primary care or VA providers, or any structured plan to avoid interruption in treatment. Failure to coordinate care in this situation may constitute patient abandonment under NRS 630.3062. At this point, I am simply requesting appropriate follow-through on the care that was already initiated. Specifically, I am requesting that the clinic issue the third prescription for the SAM device. I am sharing this so others understand that while initial visits may go smoothly, follow-through and patient support matter just as much. In my experience, that is where this clinic failed. And as a side note, the front door says "exit" but it's actually the entrance to the clinic. It's very confusing for new patients. With all of the money they make, someone should get that fixed so that people are not walking around the building looking for the entrance.

We went to a different office previously and we wished we would've started here. From the staff to Dr. Ong himself, what a difference from the other office! I will share our experience so hopefully I save someone else some hassle. I will update this review with his knee surgery results periodically. Any negative reviews I saw about this office, were about the doctor's bedside manner. We actually LOVED his straightforward bedside manner. We aren't here to find a bestie. We need a knowledgeable doctor that knows his stuff, who will perform a detailed surgery with incredible results. Upon leaving our first visit with Dr. Ong, my husband expressed how much more confidence he has with Dr. Ong than he ever felt with the other doctor. He didn't get the car salesman feel like we did at the other office. We didn't feel like just a number ( or just a dollar sign $$$) but we actually felt this office cared. My husband has a complete ACL tear among other knee tears. His work won't let him go back to work until he gets his knee repaired - which would be great IF he was getting paid. His FMLA only saves his job for 3 months. Trying the other office first, they wasted FIVE WEEKS of his recovery time with only an MRI to show from it. Next I will compare Dr. Ong's office with Advanced Orthopedics. ONG'S OFFICE: You call- and just imagine, someone answers! OTHER OFFICE: Waiting on hold for 30 minutes before you go to voicemail OR worse yet, waiting on hold 30 minutes before they hang up on you so you have to wait ANOTHER 30 minutes. ONG'S OFFICE: He listens to what happened to cause your injury, answers your questions and then gets down to business. He does a thorough exam, explains your findings while showing your MRI imaging and uses a knee model to give a detailed explanation of what's wrong and what needs to be done. OTHER OFFICE: You see two other trainees before you see the doctor. The doctor comes in, tells a joke. Touches your knee and stays they'll start working on prior authorization. ONG'S OFFICE: "We'll have this request in by tomorrow. My name is Myra if you have any questions..." OTHER OFFICE: "It's not turned in yet. We'll get that done within the next 7-10 business days for a prior authorization request." ONG'S OFFICE: "Where would you like your FMLA paperwork sent to? I can CC you on it as well." OTHER OFFICE: "Your FMLA paperwork will be completed in 7-10 days. We don't email paperwork. You'll have to come pick it up."

I'm thinking. Ok, wow He must be really busy today. He offered me an injection to see if it might help as I was still working. That didn't help but for a few days. Made another appt, and mind you my co-pays are $55.00 each visit. 2nd appt, he gave me a different type of injection. That too didn't help too well, but a little. I'm 67, and knowing I need a replacement, as he told me last visit that's the ONLY thing that will really help me, I made a 3rd appt to get it going for the surgery. MY MOUTH FELL TO THE FLOOR WHEN HE TOLD ME I HAVE TO WAIT 3 MONTHS AFTER INJECTIONS TO GET THE SURGERY! He never..ever told me this! I was now off work on disability. I started to tear up a little, I was shocked he didn't tell me. I told him, you never told me this!! His reply was...It's pretty standard knowledge. Well...obviously not as I didn't know! Asked him what am I supposed to do now, I'm off work. He then just shrugged his shoulders, saying..I don't know. Shrug your shoulders??? How unprofessional can you get? As I'm now twiddling my thumbs for 3 months, I found a different Dr, but after 3 months are up, I'm not getting and type of disability payments from my work for 30 days, then my long term disability kicks in. 30 days with no pay!!! I can't afford that. But I'm stuck!! Had he told me before he gave me those injections, that I would have to wait 3 months, i would not have had the injections, because my main reason for seeing him was to get the surgery over with, as I'm not getting any younger!! He doesnt take the time to educate or inform his patients about anything! Didn't say if I should stay off my knee, do I walk, do exercises, use ice, use heat...maybe physical therapy. Nothing!!! Just prescribed me medication. Horrible on giving us the time we deserve and tell us what the hell is going on!! Now I get an email from his office as he's no longer in practice. I wonder why. Very fishy practice...

The doctor determined that I had severe stenosis on L4, L5, and needed a Laminectomy. So he arranged for surgery at Southern Hills Hospital on February 28, 2024 and my arrival time was set at 6:00 a.m., I had no one to take me to the hospital, so I contacted Lyft which arrived late at my residence. I arrived at the hospital at 6:25 a.m., at which I was admitted to the hospital after finishing the paperwork and doing routine blood work. Then I was escorted into a waiting cubical where the nurse attempted to place an IV into my right forearm. After poking me for several minutes, another nurse who was present in the room kept shouting at me that I was not relaxed and that it was my fault that they couldn't find a workable vein. They nurses finally pulled out the IV and had a more senior nurse come in to do the IV procedure. While the more senior nurse was looking for a workable vein, suddenly at 7.00 a.m., Dr Poelstra walked into the cubical and threw a temper tantrum and immediately cancelled the surgery blaming me for having been late and for getting annoyed at the nurse who had been shouting at me that it was all my fault. He was harsh and ordered me to go home. In my opinion, Dr. Poelstra was totally unreasonable since he had kept me waiting for hours for his office appointment on February 22, then when I was a few minutes late for the surgery, he punished me for something that was out of my control. Subsequently, I was escorted out of the hospital by hospital staff akin to a criminal.
