I had a great experience working with Sofia at Crossroads Speech & Occupational Therapy. From the…read morevery first session, Sofia was professional, patient, and incredibly knowledgeable. She made the entire speech therapy process feel comfortable and encouraging, which made a huge difference in my progress. Sofia took the time to truly understand my goals and tailored each session to my specific needs. She explained techniques clearly, provided helpful exercises to practice outside of sessions, and always celebrated progress, no matter how small. Her supportive and positive approach kept me motivated and confident. I saw real improvement thanks to her guidance, and I genuinely looked forward to each appointment. If you're looking for a skilled, compassionate, and dedicated speech therapist, I highly recommend Sofia and the team at Crossroads Speech & Occupational Therapy.

Lino started Speech Therapy through Early Intervention in January 2025. At that time, he was using…read moresingle words, able to name pictures here and there, but couldn't even say "help" when I could see he was asking for it in his own way. His patience was short, which made communication tough. He also had delays with motor skills. He could hold utensils and knew they were for eating--he would bring them to his mouth--but he wasn't able to hold them strongly or in the correct way. After months of practice and support, he's now using utensils just fine, and I'm so proud of how far he's come. He began receiving Speech Therapy-Grace, Occupational Therapy-Madelyn, and Developmental Therapy-Shirley once a week. After 8 months of consistent therapy, the progress has been incredible. Lino is now able to make sentences, loves to sing, and can clearly say what he wants. His play skills have also grown--he enjoys playing with others and now involves people around him, which has been wonderful to see. We are especially grateful to his therapist, who has shown how much they truly care about Lino. The patience, dedication, and encouragement they've given him (and us as parents) mean so much. They don't just teach--they celebrate every small win with us, and that has made all the difference. Looking back, it's amazing to see how much progress he has made, and we are deeply thankful for the team who has supported him every step of the way.

So organized, always creative, lively, fun and interactive sessions. I have not found anything like it in all of Chicago and it is affordable, always a consideration when choosing therapies for a kiddo in need. They accept and bill insurance companies and are always easy to work with in every aspect. Very responsive to emails and questions which is so important especially when you as the parent might not know what might be going on or who to turn to with questions. I always appreciate that any request I have or concern to address, they help find a solution, have an idea or give a suggestion. They truly care about kids and try to help in any way they can. I have another child too and love that I am always able to bring him and comfortably wait in the waiting room without issue. I also kind of found it to be a nice place to meet other moms to talk things out when wanted or needed. we all need support! LOVE All Bright Therapies!!! If you want to treated like a number and attended to by therapists who may or may not have much…read moreexperience and are simultaneously treating 3 patients, then go to one of the big physical therapy groups in the city (ATI, Athletico, etc.). If you'd rather be treated my therapists who have the time to treat you and the experience to know which techniques are going to move the needle, Sovereign Rehab is the spot. As someone who had his first knee surgery in high school and has had several since, I've been exposed to my fair share of PTs. Keith and his team are the best I've been around. They employ all the latest techniques and take a thoughtful approach to each patient's treatment. Critically, they truly care about their patients and go above and beyond to help them get back to doing the things they want do. Individual results will depend on whether the patient does their part and is consistent with the exercises, but I cannot recommend Sovereign Rehabilitation strongly enough for providing the tools to get back to 100%!

I have no recollection of where I learned about the First Signs class that Little Giggles offers…read more.. perhaps following the location of the class. But what's important is that I did find out about it, and I am so glad I signed up right away. I've been curious about baby signing since long before I was pregnant, did a tiny bit of looking into it when the baby was cooking, and then it was furthest from my mind. First off, Meredith is a great teacher. She's patient, kind, and is really, really great with kids. The class I'm taking my daughter to has four or five other parent child pairs, and she remembered our children's names right away. Each class is a combination of song, story, and play. We start by saying hi to all the babies and then start learning our signs for the day, three each class. Meredith selects songs and stories that incorporate some or all of the words and I expect that the various modes of delivery may help children learn, or maybe learn more quickly. The stories also help reinforce the signs. Each lesson there are various toys that are there for play and/or offer ways for us to use the signs with our children; since a baby's work is play, this is yet one more method of repetition to help things stick. This is a short series of four classes. We are learning three signs per class officially, but throughout class Meredith uses various signs that I've tried to make note of as well. Throughout the week we're trying to incorporate the signs into our everyday life when we remember. I am looking forward to the remaining classes and will be keeping an eye on her course offerings.
