The then-owner brought it back to Amy hoping it could have a second career as a hunter. The gelding passed the vet exam, bloodwork and flexion test, so I purchased him. I live out of state and had him shipped to me. The horse has had lameness issues shortly after purchasing. I've had him now for several years, had him on glucosamine/hoof care supplements for several years, glucosamine injections monthly now and now powdered bute. He's been x-rayed and found to have bone chips. I've tried to contact Amy by phone leaving a voice mail several times and texting her, and also emailing to see if there had been any previous x-rays performed being requested for review by my vet. NO RESPONSE!!! I then tried contacting her husband, Chris, by several methods. Again, NO RESPONSE!!!! This shows me they are not responsible horse sellers! I definitely do not recommend them.

Monet will teach you the correct way to ride a horse. Exalt and Salute is an amazing facility and Monet is an amazing instructor. I have ridden with several instructors in the past and I love that Monet gets out there and walks/runs along side you so she can watch if you are riding correctly. She easily explains how the correct riding should "feel" and helps you learn your aids to where it makes sense! You wont see Monet sipping sweet tea sitting in the middle of the arena like other trainers. She will be out there helping you to learn because she is passionate about teaching.

It took me several…read moremonths to identify an equestrian farm that met all of my expectations; a place that is family-oriented, responsible, caring and safe. After meeting the owner, Ms. Bobbie Henderson, and hearing her beliefs regarding teaching horses and people, I knew that I had found the right place for me. Bobbie believed that individuals should earn the right to ride; understand and bond with a horse, learn to ride utilizing natural horsemanship concepts and theories, and understand what it takes to own one of these beautiful creatures. Showing up just to ride does not provide the knowledge and skill needed to truly understand, and successfully ride a horse. Thus, everyone taking riding lessons 1) learns proper horse handling, grooming and tacking, 2) contributes to keeping the tack and barn clean (mainly light sweeping), and 3) carries out responsible behavior through learned leadership skills. Through this process, I've had the pleasure of observing young people with high anxiety, short attention spans, and self-assurance issues gain much-needed confidence when given the responsibilities of understanding and caring for a horse. I called this place several times over a few months time, never got an answer, nor a return call…read moreeven though I left clear contact information. Drove out there and ran into Sheila, the "barn manager." She claimed not to have gotten the messages I left. She said there was a boarder leaving soon and she would put me on the list. Great! She gave me her cell number and told me to feel free to check in. Well, a month later I called the number she gave me. No answer. I called the main number and left yet another message with my number. No answer. Finally, I texted Sheila (at this point, I'm not even sure who she is) and got a "wrong number" response. Why would she lie to me? What kind of way is this to run a business?
