So many problems with Vivint, too many to count. The system was not working so I called them to…read morefix it. After many days talking with people that had no clue about the system and could not fix it. I had had enough after many days and told them if they can't fix it they could cancel my account andI would look for a different company. I immediately received an email stating my account would be turned off on August 1st. I called Vivint on July 27th and we agreed to try aqnd get the system up and running before August 1st. A technician arrived the following day, July 28th, and he said he couldn't do the work because the my acount had been shut down that day, instead of the 1st of August. I call a deferent numberr at Vivint and got the account turned back on and another techicient would be out the following day. July 29th. The technician as successful in restoring the system back to working order. On July 30th I received another email saying the technician couldn't provide service because there was no oner at home. On August 1st another email stating this was my last chance to remain a Vivint customer because my account was to be closed in 24 hours. I called them and what seemed like hours of them checking with all the different departments they finally told me that service was restored on July 27th. On the 28th of July there was still no service. On Aurgust 2nd two more emails. The first on stated a recent alarm triggered by the interior garage door which was cancelled by me disarming the system. So obviously the system was working. The 2nd email stated my account with Vivint was now closed. If I would like to reactivate my account they would find an offer that's right for me. I called them and was told that the system was reactivated on July 27 and at the price they were offereing m on August 2nd. I am truly amazed this commpany is still in business. They have outsourced to people who can barely speak English and had not a clue how to fix systems. Ther technician that fixed the system found things that were set up by these outsourced individuals completely wrong many of which eould insure the system would not work. Lastly, this company is so fragmented that communication between departments is not happening and the outsourcing is making things even worse. I'm sure this is not over. I expect more emails to arrive stating my account is now closed.

I'll give it a 1 because the system does work. However, the customer service team was the absolute…read moreworst! We were putting our house on the market to sell and didn't need the security system where we were moving. So before we even listed the house, we called vivant and told them what was going on. We specifically asked if we could include the system in the sale of our home, and the new owners could take over payments for the equipment and the service. The representative immediately said "yes! That's no problem! We can transfer everything to the new owners." So we listed the house with the vivant equipment and services. When we sold the house, I called back to switch everything over. I was then told I cannot do that. I would have to pay thousands of dollars to do so. I called so many times. Explaining our situation, speaking to supervisors, I tried everything. I told them I never would have included it in the sale of the house. We just would have taken it with us even though we didn't need it. No one cared. I got the same answer each time. Very, very disappointing. I feel completely scammed by them and nothing will happen to the rep who lied to me. Just be careful and MAKE SURE you'll use this service for years to come or you'll be out thousands of dollars as well. And never try to transfer it regardless what they tell you.
