Tried the hush puppies tonight POW they were amazing. A little touch of sweet but so hush puppy savory. I am glad I listed to her and made that choice! read more

For what it is, it is actually quite good. It's what I'd call a Greek restaurant in a quick service style. The place is clean and has a reasonable amount of seating inside. The food itself is well priced and very tasty. I had their Gyro supreme, which is a lamb wrap stuffed with some sort of cheese, veggies and a side sauce. It was spot on. My only real complaint is that there's no "combos". Everything has to be ordered individually. You can't get a combo with fries and a drink. You have to order your mains, your sides and your drink all as individual items. I had some fried mushrooms as a side with my gyro. That brought me to roughly $14 for both items, which is still a fair price for what I got. The mushrooms were lightly fried and perfectly browned. Again, absolutely delicious. The service left a bit to be desired. Not bad, but not particularly great, either. The service was polite, but not friendly. That's really the only reason that I took a star away. Overall, though, it's very good for a quick service eatery. I recommend it. Just expect to spend anywhere from $14-$20 if you're wanting a mains, a side and a drink. It's worth the money, though! Go try them out! read more

So... how on Earth this place is one of the best fried chicken places in Orlando is beyond me! Like most people, we've been only doing take-out or delivery service for the better part of a year now. Their Greek food is still pretty good. I will also say their Tzatziki has a little more ooomph than other places. All that said, the fried chicken is a massive surprise. I have such a hard time finding fried chicken I like in this town. I know it's very subjective. People like Popeye's. People like KFC. People like this place or that place. I like Theo's Kitchen. read more

This place is amazing!! Staff is hands down on their game!! Always clean and food on point! Definitely recommend

Eat there at least once a month if not more. Tried about everything on the menu. Never been disappointed. Service is also great. read more

This is my favorite Greek takeout restaurant. They have been around for years, moved from their original location, and are still better than their "competitor". If you like gyros, shawarma, and falafel pitas Theo's has large size filled with fresh veggies and sauce. Excellent falafel: crunchy, flavorful, and large. Their Tzatziki is my favorite, full of flavor it's so delicious! On the other hand, their Tahini isn't too spicy with just the right kick for your falafel. My chicken shawarma from the other day was packed with fresh, grilled chicken in a warm, soft pita. It was so good I decided to eat it like an open faced sandwich, eating chicken and veggies with tzatziki. Side note: Yes, they specialize in fried chicken which is not common for Greek restaurants. Totally awkward right...? But it is so amazing! They have some of the best fried chicken in Orlando. Seriously, don't hesitate to try because you'll be pleasantly surprised. My parents come from Kissimmee just for that unhealthy deliciousness. read more

People Love this place!! I keep hearing about the chicken back at the office all the time from non foodie Foodies, if that's such a thing and I think it is. You could say it's simple Greek fare in a strip mall but it's so much more than that. And if you're familiar with Mediterranean Blue, that's their old spot where they built their business up before moving here. I'm told you've got to get the three piece white meat with double fries. That's the order. I haven't quite ordered it that way myself but I think the next time I will and let the Genius of others' past experience behoove me. LOL Deliciously fried tender juicy chicken albeit smaller pieces then I might like. ...but it's the flavors and the crispety cruchy! This is a Greek place, but because the chicken is so out of this world, I've only ever been very envious of the Greek offerings others have been enjoying around me. Particularly like their cole slaw. And fries are nicely extra crispy. read more

Pricey! Good gyros and lentil soup though... A must-try when ya want Greek food! Centrally located.

Update: I've continued to visit Theo's many times since I left my original review. I felt like coming back and adding a star because this spot continues to offer up consistently delicious food. The chicken gyro and chicken and rice soup is still my usual order, but I also satisfy my fried chicken cravings here often! It's still some of the best fried chicken in town in my opinion! We recently tried their chicken wings and enjoyed those a lot as well. I'm always super full and happy after an order from Theo's and the tzatziki sauce is one of my favorites. On our recent pickup order, the restaurant had good practices in place during COVID-19 which was very appreciated. read more

So lucky to have Theo's in my neighborhood. Our go-to place when undecided as to where to go to dinner, and it is always a solid choice. A no-frills, counter service place, good portions with amazing Mediterranean flavors at very reasonable prices. Much better than cooking at home. Theo's is a place that deserves the community' support. We will certainly stop by often to satisfy our Greek cravings. read more

Let's talk about gyros, but first, pronunciation lesson. We are from the Bronx,we say, jie-row, but alas, it is not correct. . "Yes, it is a Greek food, correctly spelled "gyros," (yes, that is the singular form), and is pronounced "YEE-roh."--Quora . . Ok, now let's talk about Theo's Kitchen on Curry Ford and the ginormous Ultimate Gyro, an abundance of well seasoned meat, sweet tomatoes, tzatziki sauce and fresh feta cheese. It was sloppily delicious. Sloppy, not because it fell apart, it did not, the pita was warm & delicious all by itself & held up nicely with all the filling, but sloppy because our chins were dressed in sauce & cheese. . I hear their chicken is amazing so I will return! read more

It was a work from home day and I wanted to take advantage of getting fresh air after being cooped up. I had been on a fried chicken craving because I watched an episode of Fuller House so I made the decision to finally try this place out. I've heard from several people now that this is the go to place for fried chicken so I got ready and drove over there. It shares a parking lot with Winn Dixie and other business establishments so you won't have trouble finding parking. It's a spacious establishment a with plenty of seating. It was consistently busy which is a good sign, but plan ahead if you're going there for lunch. I ordered the two piece chicken meal with baked beans and mashed potatoes and a gyro king. Fair warning: there is a sign that states that if you order fried chicken, when it's busy, expect about 20 minutes of a wait. I waited the 20 minutes and picked up the food from the counter and drove home. I had no complaints the food was DELICIOUS. I was seriously surprised at how there wasn't too much oil on the chicken! Great flavors for sure! The gyro king was very delicious - YUM! I love how the onions are tossed in the tzaziki and feta - there wasn't an element that overwhelmed the other flavors. Overall service was good, but not much to determine from since I was picking up. What I noticed while waiting was people picking up their orders - something I'll have to do next time if I can't dine in. Definitely worth coming back for. read more

Got here right after they opened. Counter service but was already a line. Got a chicken Greek salad. Side of tzatiki. There was a lot of chicken for the price. I was surprised. Very good seasoning/dressing tho as I got to the bottom of the salad it was pretty oily and some of the lettuce was saturated. Was still excellent and I would go back and order the same thing. read more

It's normally okay, but my last visit was very disappointing. The gyro had an untoasted pita, meat that tasted more like unseasoned ground beef than lamb, tzatziki with the consistency and flavor of milk, and no feta whatsoever. It literally tasted like a bland hamburger, not the Greek delicacy it should be. I only ate half before throwing it away and now I'm starting to feel nausea. I think I'll go the extra mile to Mediterranean Deli next time I'm craving a gyro. read more

We enjoyed our lunch here. Hubby tried the fried chicken wings and it was seasoned well and moist on the inside. I got a Greek salad. It was big enough for 2 people. Very fresh! The girl at the counter was very nice and helped with all our questions. The store was small but clean. read more

I've read a lot of reviews and a lot of friends have recommended coming here so I had to try it out one day. I've been twice and both times I ordered the same meals: chicken gyro and fried chicken. Both are delicious and flavorful but if I had to choose one the fried chicken by far steals the show. Don't get me wrong their Greek food is very good and delicious but I it's something about the way they cook their fried wings that makes my mouth water. They are cooked too perfection with crispy skin and juicy meat inside. By far one of the best fried chickens I have had def one of my top favorites. If you have a craving for Greek food and/or fried chicken definitely try this place out you won't regret it. Great spot for lunch or dinner by yourself or with some friends. read more

Excellent food, portion size and value. The greek side of the menu is really, really good. The falafel platter was a huge portion and the falafel themselves were that magical crispy on the outside and still fluffy and soft on the inside. They were also very accommodating to switching a couple of the side items with our orders to meet our dietary needs. Every item I tried has been excellent, the service is always fast and friendly and for the quality and portions, the price is great. Love this place! read more

By far the best fried chicken I've ever had! It's crispy on the outside, and juicy and flavorful on the inside. I'm always on the hunt for good babaganoush, and this place did not disappoint. The Greek salad dressing is so yummy and I want to put it on everything! read more

Over- fried fallahfal, tiny rubbery wings for buffalo wings order. No real blue cheese found in what seemed to be blue cheese dressing. The tahini sauce for my dinner didn't come with the meal. It was $2 extra and no one bothered to ask me if I wanted any? I drove back to the store to get the little package. Next time I'll just make a PBJ SANDWICH and call it a day. read more

I have become more obsessed with this place! I love their food! The Greek salad has the perfect mix of toppings and the salad dressing isn't over powering or contain too much oil. The grilled chicken.. oh man.. so flavorful and hot. Their hot sauce.. not sure if they make it or not but even my fiancé is obsessed with it. Then their blue cheese and their tazyki ( not sure how to spell-cucumber yogurt) are so perfectly balanced, lots of garlic, but also my favorite. Also you have to love a place when you ask for your fries crispy, they come out crispy and hot and not over cooked. read more

I can't give this place enough stars. Have been at least five times now and tastes just as good every time. Best fried chicken in all of central Florida. It's not even close. I always regrettably forget about this little spot and always seem to enjoy it when I remember to get a quick bite. My girlfriend and I ordered to go. I got the beef shawarma and she got the chicken shawarma. For an extra dollar we got fries. We also got a Greek salad and the spinach pie (spanikopita) The food was all what you would expect for a cheap meal for two. The shawarmas were stuffed to the brim with meat, really flavor tahini and veggies. The bread they use is the thicker Greek gyro style pita. It would be nice to find a place that serves it in traditional Arabic pita but it was filling and delicious. The Greek salad was really good! I like a vinegary dressing and there's was just that. The star of the show was the spinach pie. I'm not sure if they make it there or just use a frozen brand but you really can't go wrong with it. Crispy phyllo, creamy spinach and feta. Super good texture and flavor. The place doesn't look like much on the inside. Pretty basic decor, and it's order at counter so there isn't much to be judged in the way of service. Its a strictly, cheap lunch, bang for your buck type of place. Great repeat place. Food - 4/5 Simple shawarmas and about what you'd expect Service - 4/5 Counter ordering, there isn't really much in the way of needing "quality service" here. Price - 4/5 Fair price, I think they fill the sandwiches to the brim which makes up for the $10 price tag. read more

Can't attest to anything else on the menu buts it's probably the best fried chicken in Orlando I've ever had and at great prices!

My boyfriend has been wanting to try Theo's because everyone raves about the fried chicken. I would never associate fried chicken with Greek food but nevertheless decided to finally give this place a shot. I am on a vegetarian kick, so I decided to get the vegetarian falafel with a side of fries. I didn't really have high expectations, I am not really a fan of Greek food but, I am delighted I gave it a try. The falafel was very tasty, so much flavor I would definitely order it again. The fries are so simple yet so amazing. I would go back just for the fries, it's very crispy with just salt on them, no fancy seasoning. My boyfriend got the fried chicken with fries he loved it, it was crispy bursting with flavor and still very juicy. We will be back for sure, I am definitely trying the chicken next. I am quite picky with food so if I like I think you would too. read more

I was looking for something quick to take out and in the mood for some kind of Greek food, although I am a vegetarian. Their falafel wrap hit the spot. The tahini sauce was a great addition to it and the price was right. Their menu is excellent and it has a lot of good side items like hush puppies that you can add to your meal. The place was clean and taking necessary precautions as well. Looking forward to introducing this hidden gem to others. read more

Best fried chicken ever. Theo's been on my radar for a decade. Finally tried it. 15pc with fries and mashed included rolls and a 10 pc hush puppies. Everything was perfect. Called in an order for pick up and the friendly gal on the phone told me 20 mins. Showed up and it was ready, quick and easy. I plan on using call ahead for impromptu employee luncheons and catering. You can only eat sooo much pizza. Served family style it makes a big impact for a fair price. I was salivating on the ride home. Ate 4 pieces hush puppies and fries and was pleasantly satisfied. My fried chicken itch had been scratched. Be warned once you have had the best all others will come up short. I will try the chicken shawarma and fish and chips next. (At separate times of course) Welp now I know what's for dinner tonight! read more

We rode our bikes here from Conway and it was worth the hot, sunny-day ride. This is a mellow, laid-back place, nothing fancy furnishings, but with stand-out and filling food. My husband had the chicken souvlaki in a pita with fries, while I had the combo plate with creamy hummous, tabouleh, grilled chicken and a pita. All really good. Soda and water is all-you-can-drink, which was very appealing on this hot day and definitely hydrated my husband when he got a flat tire on his bike and walked the 3 miles back to Conway. Thank goodness that was AFTER we ate! Come visit this good, neighborhood eatery! read more

This restaurant is in a plaza that shares it with other business mainly Winn-Dixie. It's mainly a Greek restaurant but has fried chicken also. I decided to check it out today. Parking is plentiful. Came in a little after 11am when it opened and was the first person there. The place smelled clean and was pretty spacious with multiple tables arrange around the restaurant. I ordered the 3 piece friend chicken meal with 2 sides. Mashed Potatoes and Cole Slaw. I was asked if I had a choice in what part of the chicken I wanted. I said 2 thighs and a breast. The fried chicken is pressure cooked in this establishment with peanut oil. If anyone knows or doesn't know, peanut oil has a higher fry point but cost a little more then regular cooking oil. With this process, it does take a little longer to cook but worth it. The meal came out on a pizza tray with the side items and a roll. Nicely spaced and room to move things around. The chicken definitely was crispy as for the process. It was kinda juicy also. I did noticed the 2 thighs were a lot smaller then normal and the breast meat was kinda dry in certain areas. I definitely will come back and try the Greek items on the menu as a few items caught my eye. As far as the fried chicken is concerned, I'll give it another shot and see. read more

Overall a solid gyro. Been back several times and it has been consistent. Fryed chicken is solid as well.

I LOVE their fried chicken. It's just insanely good. I don't get why no one else can make full fried chicken that is crispy but still moist. They crush it. I don't really get for their Greek food, but man that chicken and fries and hush puppies is a GREAT meal. read more

Their fried chicken is amazing! I had the fried chicken leg & thigh. Super delicious, perfectly crispy and juicy. I also enjoyed their crinkle cut fries. The Greek salad was okay.
