This is first time it happened (or mention of any policy), we spoke to the manager and she was very reassuring that we would not be asked to remove our masks and they were so sorry for the way we were treated. Today, we went, and was actually yelled at and spoken to very rudely and sarcastically by the front check in person who was working. I could actually see how excited she was to turn us away, like she had been waiting for the first opportunity. We have gone in masked since they have opened. We go every other week almost, never once before these last visits have we been asked to remove our masks. They claim they are following state law which is not the case after researching Massachusetts masking laws. So this is a store policy they are enforcing. And the way they are choosing to enforce it is very unkind. Please do not take stock in the older reviews saying this place is kind or understanding to immunocompromised folks or folks with masks. It was genuinely cruel the way my spouse was spoken to today. Even after pulling their mask down a bit in the busy lobby, the woman really wanted to escalte the situation. I am unsure if they are under new, hateful management, but it is really disappointing and frankly concerning how the culture of the business shifted so suddenly. Beware and be safe, there are plenty of other dispensaries in the area, it's just very disappointing to be treated in such a way from somewhere we have been going for years.
