Today, we were in Billings, Montana and gladly stood in line for a scoop of delicious ice cream. A beautiful and clean store that is well staffed in downtown Billings. A few samples were tried, but it is strawberry season and a must try. My wife ordered coconut. We moved outside to sit at the sidewalk tables to people watch and enjoy our scoops. Something must of happened as NEITHER scoop had any flavor. There were no flecks of strawberries or little seeds. Both scoops were devoid of any flavor, a true disappointment. We were both in disbelief. Perhaps, we chose the two flavorless scoops in their summer lineup. I can't answer as to what happened, but we won't return on our next trip to Montana and the Big Dipper Ice Cream. It is never pleasant when your memories don't live up to expectations.
