Breath Of Life has an app where you can customize your schedule, classes and her studio is literally open 7 days a week!! I really enjoy the app because it's easy to navigate and there are sooo many instructors on there which is flexible. I decided to give Aspire Enrichment Center a chance. This studio is small but comfortable, with palpable acceptance (which is important to me, yoga vanity is annoying to me). There are people of various stages of experience, all of which make the class feel more complete. The instructor, Meredith was knowledgeable and able to accommodate perfectly. She provided perfect guidance for a first time yoga student, and able to challenge the more experienced practitioners. I would definitely recommend this studio, not to mention they offer awesome classes and services such as meditation, reiki, massage, self defense and more.

I cycle quite a bit (road and MTB) and started getting significant back and neck pain near the end of the 2018 season. I went to my doctor, did stretches from YouTube, and took pain meds. Nothing really addressed my pain in a significant way. I heard from other cyclists that yoga had helped them with similar issues, and despite it being well outside my comfort zone, decided to try yoga after meeting Allie at a networking event. I signed up for a few sessions, and if I'm honest, wasn't expecting all that much to come of it. It turned out to be a great decision. In short, I've got almost no back pain after working with Allie for several months. I have much improved flexibility in my hips and legs and can sit in the saddle for 4-5 hours without feeling hobbled by the end of the day. I'm riding more smoothly and with better core strength than ever before. For context, I do quite a bit of core work on my own, usually 3-4 days a week. Yoga pushed in different ways than anything I have done on my own at the gym. Allie also walked me through a bunch of different stretches, all of which have been beneficial. A surprising side benefit is that I can also breathe better than before, including when riding. I'm getting more air into my lungs with each breath using techniques from sessions with Allie. Allie is prompt, communicates well, and is a pleasure to work with. She listens well, provides useful feedback, and will help make yoga approachable to a newbie like me. Allie is incredibly knowledgeable and insightful, and has a breadth of experience in Yoga that far surpasses my experience level. She can help people new to yoga like myself, or more advanced folks as well. Overall, I'm so, so glad I went outside my comfort zone to try yoga. It's helped me with my sport, helped me sleep better, and given me a wealth of knowledge about how my body works and doesn't work that I didn't know beforehand. I plan to continue this journey and have signed up for another pack of lessons with Allie. If you're looking for a yoga teacher, you couldn't do better than Allie.

I was initially having a wonderful time going to Club Pilates when I first got my membership…read more I recently decided to cancel my membership with the intent to return once Covid restrictions become better, however due to my recent experiences with Club Pilates, I wish to never return. On December 2nd, I decided to cancel my membership as Adams county went to Covid level red. As the gym is very small I felt incredibly unsafe going to a gym in general. I called the main number listed here on google and they said in the voicemail that the primary way to contact was via email, so I emailed about cancelling my membership as I was no longer attending classes. I heard a response back on December 3rd asking if I wanted to freeze my account or cancel it, as I was unsure how the pandemic was going to pan out I decided to cancel my membership. I didn't hear back until December 7th and they proceeded to respond saying that they responded asking me what I wanted to do with my membership and I proceeded to state that I wanted to cancel it already in my previous emails and that I was the one who didn't hear back. No email response. I called the number they gave me on December 16th and sent another email. I get a call back on December 17th confirming my membership was cancelled (and I won't get a refund) and that I have my membership until January 2nd. I was okay with that, until December 21st when I got charged again for my monthly payment (that was supposed to be cancelled). Why does it over 2 weeks to get a membership cancelled for it to not get cancelled? The fact they say they contact me (I am getting zero responses and no one is answering my calls). This is by far the worst experience I've had with a gym. All I wanted was to cancel my membership but my Club Pilates app and my bank statements are saying otherwise. This was just a battle of email and phone tag. Now I'm down $159 for something I'm not even using for. This is a money hungry company and if I'm gonna spend $159 monthly one something, it's definitely no longer Club Pilates. They just care about money and themselves. This is your sign to look elsewhere for a gym that cares about their people and not your money.
