They make you feel as if you're family from the minute they meet you. Booking the venue was an easy process and very straightforward. Anything we needed Jani was just a simple text or email away. She was also very quick to respond! Both of them are so nice, genuine, and loving people. You can really tell that they care about their guests. In regards to the venue itself, it is extremely well kept. In fact every time we made a visit we would see Shon work on it. Chairs and tables were provided and the chairs were so nice that we used it for both the ceremony and reception. The bridal suite is huge and it allowed my bridesmaids, both moms, hair stylists and makeup artists to work and get ready comfortably. We had our ceremony and reception outside and absolutely loved the fact that we were able to separate each event on the upper and lower lawn. There is so much space that it really allows you to plan a wedding where events can just flow from one space to the next vs having guests be in the same area that your coordinators are breaking down or setting up things that you would want behind the scenes. We definitely recommend Garden Grove as your venue of choice. You will not be disappointed!

(The space would also work well for a small or average size wedding.) The grounds are painstakingly maintained, and the landscaping is beautiful. As wedding photographers, we are always looking for great spots to take bridal and couples' photos, and Garden Grove has a lot of them. In addition, the bridal suite is quite spacious to allow for a dozen or so bridesmaids. (Believe me -- one of the most stressful pre-wedding activities can be getting ready with tons of bridesmaids in a tight space -- but the bridal suite at Garden Grove allows plenty of room so you don't get cramped. Also, so many mirrors! It is a pleasure to photograph weddings at Garden Grove, and we hope to be back soon.

Christina also confirmed this in her review, you HAVE to use one of MOYA's vendors. So sorry, Christina, for your horrible experience at Springdale Station, and for getting ripped off. We ALSO definitely do NOT recommend Springdale Station! Honest review for those considering this as a venue: The indoor space is very SMALL. It is not a good location for a large amount of guests. You will find three rooms inside (one with some stairs that are required to access it). The foyer serves as one of these rooms, so once you make it through the line to get inside, you are inside one of the three small rooms! The event we attended was very crowded and everyone was bumping into each other. Again, in OUR experience, this is NOT a good venue for a large group of people. The outside has a very small patio, with a LARGE amount of dirt. Definitely not a good location for anything even slightly dressy. Something casual, cowboy-like, perhaps a kids' casual party...those might work. The dirt area is large. (And VERY dirty!) We came home with dirt up to our calves. Gross! Keep this in mind, and check this out thoroughly before signing any contract with Moya. Buyer beware!!! Outside seating on the small patio was extremely limited. Literally only ONE sofa. Moya needs to addressed this. Would be nice if guests could actually sit down. Ridiculously inhospitable! We have attended several events in Austin, this one is only suitable for a super casual OUTDOOR event. (And hopefully it is priced accordingly...). Again, please prepare to get dirty if the weather is dry, and if it rains you will have muddy shoes. If you wear any type of heel, you will sink into their wet mud. Again, this is another item that Moya still needs to address. (Hello? GREATLY enlarge that tiny patio!). Good grief. Last issue - parking. Many other reviewers have also mentioned this. The parking lot was large, but it was (is) shared by other businesses so finding an actual parking spot was very difficult. Highly recommend if you have to go to Springdale Station that you use a taxi, (etc.) to get there and back. Again, research thoroughly before committing. There are so many other decent venues in Austin, we don't know why anyone would pick this one!

Michelle and Andrea were fantastic to work with, very responsive, accommodating, and went out of their way to make our experience perfect. You can tell when someone really takes an interest in making your event perfect versus just providing a service. I'd be worried about having it in the winter of summer because of the set up but what really forces us to go another direction is there is a lot of restrictions with vendors. You are presented with a list of vendors you must use. The asterisks indicate which vendors are not up for discussion. The ones that are not with an asterisk are still required but if you stray from that list she must personally interview that vendor and each person must have a million dollar insurance policy. As a person who has no family in town and planning everything by ourselves we just didn't have the time to devote to some of those rules. We didn't really get to talk about much else as we spent so long talking about the rules and importance of the liability insurance that there wasn't time to talk about much else. The space was pretty, It was set us an open air venue that can be closed off with glass. Basically a blank canvas because it would be all glass. Off ot the side there is a big tree with a wooden dance floor that had christmas twinkly lights wrapped around the tree. Seemed it would be lovely. Especially for a couple that plans to wed and have reception there... equipped with rooms for the groomsmen (a ground floor location near the pool with tv and videogames and bridesmaids (which was upstairs.. dangerous for heels but very cute modern space) For our needs, just needing a reception space it was just not for us. Also, I mentioned that I knew a previous bride that wed there..and as she recalled her she said, "oh the plus size bride"... OMG I would die if anyone only remembered me as the PLUS SIZE BRIDE. I just wanted to be remembered as a beautiful bride.. size need not be noted.... thank you. For other brides out there.. it is a very beautiful space.. prices are reasonable based on your total number of guests! dont rule it out till you see it.
