He came very highly recommended to us by a good friend who also purchased her home with him. After personally working with him, we too are delighted to recommend him to anyone looking to buy or sell their home. Mike was extremely patient with us (took us a couple years to buy from our first meeting) and was never pushy or made us feel like we were jumping into something that didn't feel right. He genuinely had our best interests in mind the entire process. He really is an expert in his field and this showed during the offer process. He was able to get us a credit, stayed organized with the paperwork, and everyone else within his network that he's referred us to has also been excellent to work with. Mike's dedication really came through when he facilitated the offer letter all through the birth of his last child. Mike was available for us evenings and weekends and kept us well-informed, especially as first-time homebuyers. We'd gladly recommend him to anyone in the market and would be happy to have him as our Realtor again.

We knew buyers would be received similarly- with attentive, but respectful space, and with a wealth of financing options ready to discuss. Yes, she was pleasant, super responsive to both of us whether individually or together, gave sound pricing and market advice backed by transparent research- all the qualities that earn a 5-star rating, but she did so much more than that! In one of several examples, when the buyer's agent wasn't participating and slow- Heather stepped up in her same professional and ethical manner to see the sale through, on time. **Bottom line** you never know what flavor of circumstances might put your sale or offer at risk, but you can choose a dedicated realtor with a myriad of skill sets and strategies to apply to your buying or selling goals. Heather checked all the boxes and delivered for us. Highest sale in the community without the stress! Thank you so much!

Hans touted his firms ability to specialize in loft spaces and his savvy marketing expertise. To my dismay, they rarely returned calls from prospects. Other than list the space on their website and put a sign in front of my unit it appears he did no other marketing that required his firm to spend money. It was I who found a potential client. I passed the information on to Hans Strom, with the understanding that he would collect the required paperwork and make a recommendation whether to rent or not. I leased the space to Mint Shape LTD on January 1, 2014. The business made two subsequent payments and stopped. I immediately informed Hans of the problem and had at least two phone conversations. He promised to help me lease the property at no additional commission. I was able to get possession of the property but not before the current tenant had changed the locks. They notified Strom Commercial where new keys could be picked up. Over the course of the next month, Hans assured me that he was working diligently on getting the unit leased and was actively showing it. However, it was later revealed that he didn't even have the new set of keys for over two weeks. I began the process to collect what was owed. I contacted Hans and asked him to forward the applications, paperwork and social security number of the co-signer. He ignored me for several days. He then responded that he had no social security number and had collected no other information from the prospect when they were being reviewed. I am now owed over $15,000 in back rent and repairs in addition to the commission I paid to his firm. I relied on the firms experience and integrity but Hans Commercial was unprofessional and reckless when representing me and my property. At a minimum, I asked him to return the commission he was paid. He has not responded to my request; nor has he offered an apology.

My name is Jim, and I am an extremely happy customer of Bob Carlson's…read more Bob is Always Accessible. He will take you through the steps of your transaction with thoroughness, tenacity and care. He worked tirelessly with me to match my desires and financial capabilities, and the unity I felt between us as a team is uncommon in today's marketplace. Bob is diligent. He knows the areas, stays current on listings and market trends, and maintains great relationships with industry professionals. But he also does the little things that make the difference. In my consideration of home, we discussed things like my work commute, good local eateries and proximity to things I find important, like music and sporting venues. Bob is resourceful and personable! He calls on others for answers to questions. I really like that Bob doesn't pretend as if he has all the answers. He works very well with loan officers, title company personnel, insurance agents, appraisers, home inspectors, neighbors, and everyone involved in the transaction, especially buyers, sellers and their agents. His follow up is amazing! Bob stays in constant contact with everyone and doesn't let anyone drop the ball during their involvement in the process. He also happens to be a great guy: funny, cool and easy to get honest with. Through my 3 transactions I always felt as though Bob had my wishes and best interest at heart. I met Bob through a professional referral from a lifelong friend. Let me say that I'm filled with Gratitude and that I could not have been happier with that referral. Since I met Bob, I have made 3 real estate transactions in San Diego County, and all of them have been with Bob at the helm. And I would never hesitate to again use Bob. Unfortunately for him, he sold me my dream house during our last transaction, so he may never again enjoy me as a customer. But I would be remiss if I didn't share my experience with others, and encourage them to work with Bob in hopes of being as happy and successful as I have been. Bob was my agent for my first time home purchase in 2006. He was patient, smart, wise and tenacious - all the things you want from your agent with your first home purchase. He showed me many homes all over the county that matched my wishes and price range. Bob exhibited a strong understanding of the area, market trends and kept his eye out for all kinds of intangibles and potential pitfalls (e.g., potentially bad neighbor situations) and things that could affect my happiness and resale value. He found me a great place in a great neighborhood, one that I didn't even know existed! I made that house my home for the next 6 years and was pleased that Bob took an interest to check in on me and keep up on my happiness. As I started to outgrow my first home, I knew Bob would be the ideal candidate to list my house. After all, I wanted potential buyers to see the intangibles that Bob so keenly saw during my purchase. Long story short, my home was sold in record time, and I even turned a profit during an otherwise "down" market. I credit Bob with 100% of the success of this transaction! Bob worked with my fiancé and I while looking for a new home, and when we found an ideal place, we had a great offer submitted the same day. Our offer was ultimately accepted and...well, let's just say that I'm writing this review from my new home, and my fiancé and I couldn't be happier, for all the reasons explained above! If you are not using Bob Carlson as your realtor, you are simply not giving yourself the best chance for happiness in your home purchase or sale.

At all stages of each sales process (I began my search with a number of target zip codes and took a while to hone in), Bob made it clear that his only objective was to help me find and close on the perfect house--striking a difficult balance: always ready to implement an effective action plan at a moment's notice, but never putting undue pressure on me. I always had Bob's support in making the right decision for me, even if it meant walking away from a prospect he had already invested hours and hours in. Bob always encouraged me to seek out and use my own resources for inspections, repair estimates, &c whenever I wished, but time and again I found his network of professionals in essentially any area to be favorable to those I could find myself--and he wasn't above rolling up his sleeves and exploring a dank crawlspace himself when the occasion required it. Bob's expertise and speed gave me the edge I needed to navigate a highly competitive market, beat out other buyers in terms other than price alone, and ultimately close on a house that was a better fit for me and my family than I could have imagined.
