Was passing through Hawthorne on US301 around dinner time so looked on Yelp and saw The Wrap Shack listed as highly recommended. I was not disappointed. They had an amazing selection of wraps. My wife chose the grilled Mahi Mahi wrap and I chose the Chimichurri Steak Wrap. Both were delicious. Also, the staff was very welcoming. If you live in the area or are just passing through, check it out! read more

Great food and fast service. My husband and I purchased two wraps to go. They tasted fresh and flavorful. Highly recommend!

If you've traveled 301 in North Fl you know just how limited your options are for good food. On a quick whim we decided to stop into The Wrap Shack for a late lunch for the first time today and were pleasantly surprised by this small town gem. I had the steak wrap and my husband had the chicken tenders, both with Fries. The food was great! The tenders good enough for my 3rd generation Publix husband to audibly state "these are better than Publix!" The vibes and service are kind and comfortable. The outside restroom could use some updating so go out and support this business and enjoy! read more

Great food! We decided to stop by when we were passing thru town and it did not disappoint!

This is a great place to stop if you're in the Hawthorne, Florida area. Nice patio to enjoy the beautiful weather outdoors, there are only a couple tables inside. We ordered the cheese sticks, they were OK, they were not my favorite. But the cheese curds were out of this world! I will definitely be getting these on my next visit. I did not get a picture of the shrimp Poboy, but it was delicious. Nice ripe tomatoes, perfectly fried shrimp with a drizzle of aïoli. The chicken Caesar wrap was crisp and fresh. My daughter could only eat half. Our server was great, it did take a few minutes for them to come out and take our order, but once they realized we were not waited on they were on top of it. I will definitely come back again! read more

Such a cute & delicious spot on the way back from our trip to Florida! The service was impeccable and couldn't ask for anything better :) Thank you! read more

The food was great and the place is very nice, welcoming and dog friendly. A++! We loved the fish wrap and shrimp plate.

Food was good. Service was prompt and easy. The place is pretty chill, they allow the middle/high schoolers to come hang out after school. Unfortunately they were out of Thai tea the day I went so I got the green tea and it was ok.. read more

Nice restaurant for a quick bite. Nothing special, but nothing bad either. for some reason, I have to have 85 characters to post.

Great food and service. Generous portions. Clean, simple and charming little space. Indoor and outdoor tables. This was the perfect lunch stop on a road trip from Savannah to Tampa. Sooo much better than any of the fast food options along that route. There's also a cute fenced in playground if you've got kids who need to burn off some energy. read more

Great little stop for lunch. The french fries are amazing and you can't go wrong with any of the wraps.

Didn't go inside, they had plenty of outdoor seating. We were waited on right away. Outdoor seating has sun shades, but on a hot day it might be better to go inside. My wife had chicken tenders and they were moist and delicious. I had a catfish po' boy and I loved it. Only thing is I would have liked a bigger piece of fish, but the tastes made up for the smaller portion. We both had fries and a Thai tea, both were excellent. Not on the main strip so if you don't already know where this place is you probably won't find it without a gps. The only bathroom is outside on the side, but it was clean. Excellent find in a small town. read more

This was SO GOOD! Stopped in on our way to Clearwater from Jacksonville. Everything was healthy and delicious. I'm not sure what spice they put on their fries but it almost makes it taste like sweet potato fries! Service was friendly but a little slow, unclear that you check out at the front... so keep that in mind! Definitely worth a stop if you're nearby! read more

Wow! A delightful surprise! The Wrap Shack is a new favorite stop on our beach trips. The food was great with lots of creative sandwiches, wraps sides and desserts. Great service staff and a skilled cook. We got the catfish hoagie and the shrimp wrap (see pics). Charming, small town decor both inside and out on the shaded patio. read more

Angel waited on us outside. We were traveling back from Amelia Island and wanted a small bite to hold us to parrish . We were on hw 301 traveling south when i googled restaurants in hawthore , fl. Typical Mcdonalds but we tried The Wrap Shack and it was amazing. We split a wrap into 3's and had a side of creamy coleslaw ( i could have just eaten a bowl of it). The wrap was a ham/chicken with bacon and mayo, the wrap was a garlic /herb.As we left we met the owner Alex how fresh everything was when we go through again we will stop. read more

The wrap I had for lunch the following day was definitely tasty and a nice change from my usual fare. I usually cram my food down as quickly as possible at work, however today...I took my time and savored my meal. I highly recommend the wraps! Delicious!!! read more

This place is a hidden gem and worth the side track off the main highway! The service is fantastic. She was really sweet and very attentive to our needs. The food was great. I am not an onion ring person, but they were fantastic, as well as the cheese curds and fries were addictive. It is dog friendly, so we sat outside and had a festive garden vibe to it. I would definitely come back. read more

The Wrap Shack - Front patio entrance to the restaurant. - Wraps Near Me - Hawthorne, Florida

The restaurant is severely understaffed. Kitchen staff has no proper training, especially with food safety and cross contamination. All of the chicken (Raw) that was being used for the day was left out on the counter for at least the 1 hour that we sat at the bar. The chicken was left out uncovered with flys swarming the area. The raw chicken was also placed next to the bread that was being used for sandwiches. The restaurant itself was pretty warm probably between 77-80 degrees so not ideal for raw chicken to be sitting out for more than 1 hour without growing bacteria and causing food borne illnesses. When we asked the one waitress that was trying to manage tables by herself if that was the chicken being used for meals the answer was yes. There was absolutely no management at the restaurant. The three total employees that were trying to run the restaurant were completely overwhelmed and not properly equipped. read more

Was in the area on a week day & stopped in with a fellow diner to try The Wrap Shack for the first time. Had heard good things & didn't disappoint. I had a chicken & hummus wrap w fries that was all very tasty. The fried okra looked good too! The server was prompt & friendly too! We sat inside but there was cute outside dining area. Prices were reasonable. Will definitely stop back by when in the area! read more

Perfect for a quick stop for lunch - tried the fried okra, jalapeño poppers, burgers and wraps. Everything was fresh, made to order and yummy. The fries with home made ranch dip and sriracha mayo were fantastic. Our server, Heather, was very sweet and attentive. Stopped in while traveling up north. Got there right as they were getting slammed so service was a little slow but understandable considering the lunch rush. Lots of seating indoor and out and the food was pretty good. We had the Bangin Shrimp wrap and Chicken Caesar wrap with fries each. Fries were great and the wrap was very filling. read more

Definitely a hole in the wall found on Yelp during our ride back to Bradenton from Beaufort. Really good food. I got a chefs salad and it was delicious, large and very fresh. Husband got the hummus chicken wrap with seasoned fries- also delicious. Hummus tasted house made, chicken was crisp and flavorful, and fries were crispy and had a very yummy seasoning. Service was fine. A point off for bathroom that was not clean. read more

Truly delicious food! Everything was so fresh and flavorful. Service was quick and everyone was friendly-- they even brought water out to my dog on the patio. The patio itself was adorable and offered a nice seating option on a beautiful day. We stopped by on our way home to VA from FL and will definitely make this a regular part of our route! read more

The Wrap Shack - Caesar wrap and fries - Wraps Near Me - Hawthorne, Florida

This new lunch hot spot opened mid 2019 and has become quite popular due to its generous portions and excellent quality. The mozzarella cheese sticks appetizer was tasty but be warned that the marinara sauce on the side is served cold. The Mahi mahi wrap was excellent, but I personally would order it next time without the feta cheese. The low carb tortilla did not have any shortage of flavor and was an easy healthy choice. The garlic citrus rice was ok, but tasted like plain rice. I was expecting more flavor based on the menu description. On the other hand, the elote Mexican corn was perfect with great flavor. The hummus wrap with veggies was a no guilt flavor sensation. We found this place on our way from Tampa to Jacksonville and it made a great rest stop to recharge us for the last third of our trip. read more

We LOVED The Wrap Shack. Hawthorne has been in desperate need of a place to gather and eat good food--I'm so glad they've got this one. The food was wonderful. Our fries were perfectly crispy, everything was cooked, and everything had spectacular flavors. The sweet tea (a measure of any restaurant in the South) was delicious. Our waitress, Sydnee, was just the right balance of attentive. They've only been open about a month, so when it gets busy, it is probably a mess, but between 2-4pm is a good, slow time to go. Inside, there's plenty of seating, fans going to cool you down, and a TV to watch sports. The outdoor patio is adorable. There's plenty of seating, which will be great in the fall. The lights on top are the perfect touch to this place. I can't say enough good things about The Wrap Shack. Drive out to Hawthorne, go to Blue Star Nursery, visit one of the town's parks, maybe go by the public library, and stop for a nice lunch/dinner at The Wrap Shack. A very deserving 5 star place. read more

We live in Dade City and we are on our way to Georgia for a little mini vacay. Wanted to stop somewhere that we wouldn't find back home and boy did this place do the trick! They make their own fresh crab Rangoon that were amazing. Had CBR loaded fries, shrimp wrap and fried okra. Round of applause all the way around. I don't think there was one bad thing to say about this place. The server was an absolute delight and super friendly. Wish it was closer because we would definitely come more often! read more
