I originally tried getting Mexican food from a place that cooked the food on a grill outside, but I was informed that this was a fire hazard and had to choose another place to deliver food instead. There's a big kitchen to cook stuff if you need to. La Casita is beautiful and it comfortably fit about 70 people. When you book, they say 70 people is the max, but honestly I think it could fit 80-90 people. It's fairly simple to book online and you'll get a liaison to email you if you have questions. The venue provides enough tables and chairs for 70-80 people. I had to rent tablecloths to make them look nicer. I also hired a couple people to help set up and clean up. Overall, I'm glad I did the baby shower here instead of at home. Some other things to know: -If you're serving booze, it's an additional $70 bucks for liability insurance. -Liability for food to be cooked at the venue costs about $120 through a company the City of Pasadena uses. -I set up a photobooth behind the building and it worked out great! -There is free wifi, but when it's shared among 70 people its kind of slow. -There are about 40 parking spaces, but there is neighborhood parking too. You're not encouraged to do neighborhood parking, but it is free and unrestricted, FYI.

Honestly, this garden is beautiful in any season of the year. You can come here with dogs, which is a big plus, but it's important to respect the property rules: pets must be on a leash, owners are responsible for cleanup, professional photography requires a permit, and activities like skateboarding, drinking alcohol, or organized sports events are not allowed. These rules help preserve the calm and cleanliness of the space. There is also a secondary school located on the property, which adds to the unique character of the place.
