I've been coming here for years and it seems like every time he is being incredibly rude to his customers and poking his customers chest as seen in this video. My father bought a pair of boots that were cutting into his foot and they just didn't work out after 4 hours of wearing them. He took them back and asked if he can get them custom to his foot. The owner agreed and sent the boots off to the manufacturer. After getting the run around for THREE MONTHS the owner said he would have the boots in two days and when my father went in the owner admitted to selling his custom boots to another customer even after being paid for said boots. We had to fight for 2-3 weeks just to get our refund back for the custom boots we had paid for. Our family and friends will no longer be conducting our business with this criminal. 0 stars! read more

This was my favorite store when the son was running it. Unfortunately, the father has now FIRED THE SON, and removed all the customer service with him. Monday after work I walked into his store to show him the boots I bought 4 months prior. The seem had busted and there was a tear next to the busted seam. He also yelled at me and accused me of cutting my work boot and that it was my fault the boot ripped. He also said that the boots fell apart because I didn't take care of them. Which was a lie in itself, anyone that knows me knows I take care of my stuff. Also this is unfortunate because I really like these boots. But now I have to go somewhere else to get boots. read more

The owner tried selling me a pair of boots a size smaller and told me that they would fit if I took out the soles and they would stretch, after a day of having my toes shoved into the toe box and being in pain I brought them back. He exchanged them for a pair I didn't want and they also didn't have any soles. He proceeded to dig in the back for mismatched soles and I gave up and left. Later I discovered the boots had a huge tear on the inside that had been repaired before I bought them. This guy is a joke and very pushy. My father bought a pair of shoes and a pair of boots for $523.15 A YEAR AGO. Every time my dad would go into the shop the owner Fidel would make excuses of why the shoes are not in yet. Then when he would say they're in and my dad would go and try them on and they would not be the right size or even come close to fitting then he would promise again to send them back and get them specially maid to fit my dads foot...A YEAR LATER......and a lot of lies later.... I went into the store to check on my dad's orders. Fidel was extremely aggressive and rude. He would say I was yelling when really he was the one yelling. He would accuse my dad of not calling him and lying when he was the one doing all the lying. The next day I brought my dad in and he tried this so-called shoes that my dad ordered on and of course they were the same shoes he tried on a long time ago and with the wrong size wrong shoe and then made another promise to send them back and have them altered special again and be back in two weeks or he would give my dad's money back...(note: we have this all on voice record). Now a month later I go back to the store to check on the shoes and he's got the same exact shoes and boots he had in the beginning so of course they don't fit. I said my father just wants his money back since you're not able to get the right size boot and shoe like he PROMISED and he went crazy telling me he's not giving my dad his money back and cussing at me and telling me to get out of the store he's going to call the Police......I welcomed him to call the police because he STOLE $523.15 from my dad. And of course he didn't call the police. But I should have! I Went home and started filing complaints with BBB and FTC and now Yelp. I'm hoping to get a hold of some of the people that reviewed him and his store so he stops getting away with steeling from people! read more

DO NOT SHOP HERE!! Literally walked in for the first time today and was looking for a black Ben Davis work shirt. The one I wasn't looking for wasn't there but he insisted on me trying on a bunch of other ones. I enter the fitting room and he still proceeds to hand me more. Of course I try on 1 or 2 but it was excessive about the amount I was handed. I come out the fitting room and tell him I really needed the black one and would wait another week if I had to. He starts cussing me out in front of another client and kicks me out the store for "wasting his time". Came back later they didn't have it. Sammy said he'll order some and it'll be here by next week. He ordered the jeans in front of us asked for our number and name. Never called so I called to check on it. And he said okay for sure on Monday at 10:30 am. Waited a few days after Monday came by never received a call. Went all over from Manteca to Lodi. Looking for Thorogoods size 5 in mens or any other wedge sole boot with support for work. Every other place had nothing. When I walked in I was fustraighted and ready to explode. I could not wait to order and have shipped. My others boots had completely been worn through. Wasn't sure they would last or I could handle till had some shipped. Not only that but he took the time to measure my feet and custom cut insoles. Being a larger man and having trouble findIng work wear that fits I was happy that he was going to be able to help, or at least that's what he told me. I came back 3 weeks later and when I walked in he was on the phone, he then proceeded to tell the other person on the phone how large of a person I was and how my jacket was hard to order in such a large size! He then told me my order was not in yet and to come back next week. I proceeded to come back, week after week, and every time it was the same story...come back next week Thankfully I had not paid for the work shirts, and I eventually found some on amazon to order. The jacket was a different story, because I had prepaid for it. After months and months of coming back he eventually gave me my money back in January, almost 7 months later!!! After getting my money back I found a jacket online for half the price, ordered it and had it in 3 business days. Also, he didn't just make rude comments about my size just once, he did it on several occasions, and twice telling people he was talking to on the phone. I was getting into the car and he followed me out there and tried to take photos of me and the car. I told him to back off and go back into his store I was done. He kept pushing up on me to try to take pictures and said he was going to call the police. So I beat him to it. He then tried to act like nothing was happening. When I come into town I like shopping at the local stores. I wanted to get my son in law some things for work and Christmas....shopping here was a BIG MISTAKE. I ordered some socks and pants that he didnt have in stock but reassured me they would be in the following week. I live in monterey so my daughter came back to pick them up... nothing Samny said next week, then next week, then next week until almost 2 months my daughter and son in law came in and Sammy told my daughter I came in and we spoke??...(lies, I live out of town!)..said my items would be in the following week. My daughter knew he was lying so she called me and I confronted him on it, we got into a huge arguement and he tried throwing it back on my son in law saying he didnt like his attitude. Place doesn't have enough steel toes in stock. I came here 3 months ago and bought some socks and the owner stated that he had some socks that would last me forever which I laugh at his comment and knew they would only last me about six months. After 3 washes they ripped and I decided to take them back and show him that he was full of it. I came back today and he tells me no pair of socks will last you forever and I told him yeah but 6 months is all I was asking and that didn't even happen. The store has nothing I need and I asked for money back, but the owner Sammy said he could order me products online. I deploy soon and figured I would just get some 511 products to use overseas and Sammy has been giving me the run around saying the order is delayed and he just doesn't return my calls or text. Now I have to go through military family assistance to get my money back because he won't honor the credit. Absolutely horrific, never ever come here. where it all began.. came in one day looking for some work boots and I noticed they sold the brand of boots my boyfriend was looking for. we went to go purchase them and they did not have any in stock but were ordering a shipment. The owner Fadel told us no problem you can buy them now and we will ship them to your house at no additional cost. sounds like good service right? WRONG. thats when it took a turn for the worst. Fidel told us the boots would be at our door by Friday. Friday comes along and no boots.. we decide to wait until Monday to call. Monday comes around we call and he says oh they are running late but we are getting them in tomorrow and will be to your house no later than this coming Friday. okay no worries we understand sometimes shipping can go wrong or be delayed. so Friday comes around and NO BOOTS AGAIN. we call and he says that they are on backorder ( why not call and tell us right)? we played this game for about a month and a Half going back and fourth and it began to sound like a scam that he was taking our money and never going to send us our boots. he kept coming up with excuse after excuse why we are not getting them. today I proceeded to call and I was frustrated with him already but remained calm and I was completely disgusted with his words and attitude. HORRIBLE. I could not believe that a "owner" was speaking to me this way. when I finally asked " are you stealing my $200 from me ? because we are not getting our merchandise item that we paid for?" he said " yes I am stealing your money" and HUNG UP ON ME.
