Visited for the first time today. I have been to all the local uniform shops between Stockton and Modesto and code 3 is the most impressive. The shop is fairly large in size for a uniform shop and I was impressed with the selection of items they had in stock. This shop is equipped with just about everything a first responder would need from uniforms, gear and in store alterations. When I walked in, I was immediately greeted by one of the ladies working there. She assisted me with my purchase without any issues. As for pricing, I would say they are on par with the other shops. Went here on Monday, March 14, 2023. By far the best customer service I've ever had from a uniform store. I will always come back here, even if it is a little farther drive for me. The two employees who helped me at the front counter (around 1600 hours) went above and beyond and took are of all my uniform needs without having to return to pickup a different day. **Update*** gave code 3 another chance this last week, and the girls were very friendly and helpful this time. The seamstress came out right away to pin my shirts for alterations. Now fingers crossed that all alterations come out okay Used to go to code 3 and never had any issues. The last two times I've been in there, no one ever offered to help me find what I needed. I asked them where a certain set of uniforms were, one girl pointed to them and carried on with her conversation with her other co workers. Once I tried on what I needed, I stood around for 15 minutes trying to get someone's attention to help get the uniforms pinned to get alterations done. No one ever came to check on me or to help me. Being in law enforcement I really needed some new uniforms, but if no one is going to acknowledge me, then my business is obviously not needed. I left and went to stans, where they greeted me as soon as I walked in and got me exactly what I needed. I will never give code 3 my business again. read more

Let me tell you how my day started, sit down and crack open a beer cause this is going to be one hell of a story. I woke up in the early hours of the a.m. realized that I needed some equipment for work. I waited till about 30 minutes before the store opened up and began to head on my way. I stopped by the local 7-11 because I needed to fuel up. I looked at the lottery scratchers and said to myself "why the heck not". Purchased me one of em 5 dollar scratchers and said to my self "what if todays the day I get to retire". To my surprise I had won $5,000!!!. Not enough to retire but boy way I happy. I was on my way to the store when I had the sudden urge to sneeze. I had somewhat of a cold so I knew I would shoot snot all over my steering wheel and dash board. As I panicked to grab a tissue out of the center console, I accident grabbed my winning lottery scratcher and sneezed on the dang thing. I was so disgusted that I threw it away. I showed up to the store full of sorrow and sadness because within one sneeze I lost 5,000 dollars. Well let me tell you something all of that went away as soon as I walked through the front door and was greeted by the amazing employees working in there. The smile on their faces alone told me they enjoy their work and take great pride in customer satisfaction. I ordered my equipment and was told it would be ready in a couple of days. Fast forward a couple hours later, there I am trying to win another scratcher when all of a sudden I get a call from Code 3 telling me that my equipment was already! I was amazed at how quickly and efficiently my order was ready. Boy I tell ya hwat, I have never seen a business satisfy an ol gizzard such as myself before. So once again i ordered a vest from them in April...Here we are in October still no vest. I get a text stating my vest will ship September 30th...but still no vest. It is now October 10th. So i text EJ can u please send me the order # so i can track the shipping progress. Of course no response from him! Very unprofessional...no customer service skills what so ever. Paid 10 dollars extra for a rush charge to have patches put on a jacket. My receipt states it will be ready by 11/22 and my fiancé was told that I could come in after 1400 and pick up the jacket. I called today, 11/22 at 1650, to see if it was ready. First I was told they didn't have any orders under my fiancé's name (he dropped the sweater and several other uniforms off for me). Then called me back and said that the work order form says they aren't supposed to be ready until Dec. 4th but they will be ready Friday 11/24. I said my fiancé was told I could come pick it up after 1400 today and the lady on the phone just repeated that it wont be ready until Friday because they need to be presses. I paid more money to have it done by today and it isn't. First and last time I will use this company. read more

I don't even know where to begin with my complaints about my experience here. Ordered a vest April 17th, 2020. Today is October 12th of 2020 and I still have not received the item that I paid for 6 months ago. I was told that due to the Coronavirus things were slow. But what I can't figure out for the life of me , is how my partners ordered their vest at the same time as me and received theirs and I did not? To make matters a little bit more frustrating I had another co-worker go in and order her vest 2 months after me and she received hers a month ago. How professional is it to lose track of someone's order and not keep any communication with me about it? Every time I call the store I get told the same thing. No one knows what's happening? Come on. Recently purchased 3 sets of Class B uniforms, all tailored to my needs. The staff was welcoming and Tatiana was so helpful! She was able to order the 5.11 uniform shirts that I had been having trouble finding. They added a quality YKK zipper to function in replace of my shirt's front buttons which is awesome.
