After hanging up the phone, I informed my mother to call her bank and block payments, i will add, this was after multiple attempts by Hotworx of trying to charge her card after she had begged them not to. MY ELDERLY MOTHER, BEGGED them not to charge her card. Today, writing this review, it is months later at this point and my mother is still being harassed by this company. Overall, the combination of strict rules, cleanliness issues, and unfriendly members makes this gym hard to recommend. There are better options nearby that value both safety and customer experience.

I ended up having a medical issue that required me to be gone for several months. With my ability to return still unknown. I had to prepay for sessions, about $700 at a pop. Which was OK. My issue was when I didn't know when I could return I asked for a refund of my balance. This began my issue. They have a policy of not issuing refunds but will hold the credit on their account and I can come in any time and use them. There are busy enough paying back the $ wouldn't be a issue. There are enough gyms in the area, when I can go to a gym it won't be this one. I don't hang out at places that don't align with my ethics.
