A few months ago we met Big Mike and Joyce and they came highly recommended online from a pal. They came over and met us and we went for a family walk together with the big guy. Instantly he took to them and they loved him. We really connected and it was a match on all fronts. We travel a ton, we work a lot out of town. It's hard with a French Mastif like Thor. He's so spoilt and a senior at 7. He needs a lot of attention and lots of rubbing and loving and care. Mastiffs are like that, super sensitive and always on you. He's very playful and full of spunk for his age ya gotta love him. Anyways, they have stayed twice since and Thor's face is priceless man! He looks happy and so relaxed honestly. I gotta say it really makes our coming home a wonderful experience when we open the door and see him like that. Mike and Joyce and animal experts. They bing a massive gambit of proven methods that work for each case. They are great listeners and on top of following our rules of the house and dealing with Thor, they teach us a few things along the way. Immeasurable in terms of hiring a REAL PRO. All we can say is this is a dog town and ironically it's so hard to find the right person to house sit your pet. Just trust in them and enjoy their services. When we get home, our house is clean, the kitty litter is immaculate and our cat is groomed and happy! The owner is rude to her employees, and they use methods such as shaking change in metal jars directly in the dog's ears until they are scared of the workers as a way to make them stop barking. They will also yell very, very harshly at them almost constantly. The reason why I don't work there is because I refused to take part in that. They will also put up to 25 dogs of all sizes and temperaments in one van for the daily beach walk, which exceeds the legal limit and results in the dogs getting in fights with each other. Again, as someone who worked there, please do not leave your beloved animal there. Your dog will be sad all day and will not get enough attention nor be treated appropriately. At first glance, it seems like a great environment, hence why I worked there. But your dog will only be let out once, and in the group photos they send, it's likely your dog won't even be in the picture. They use very outdated training methods, and it was incredibly hard for me to work there. Leaving your dog there is the equivalent of leaving your dog at an animal shelter.
