Where to start with this horrible restaurant and managers.. If I could rate it a zero I would. Booked in for the 6pm sitting expecting a lovely night of good food, good service and a great location for my family of 4 to celebrate New Year's Eve. Well, at least the location was good. First surprise is that this "restaurant" does not do table service. You have to line up like you are at a takeaway joint to place your order. Zero customer service or acknowledgement to you apart from the dollar signs that you represent to them. Secondly, after we had placed our order, within 10min we had received our entree, but then about two minutes later all our mains came out as well. We had asked if we could have some time between entree and main as we had not even finished our entree when the mains came out. We were told by the undertrained waitstaff that this was not possible and wondering what the problem was?! We did not want to feel as if we were just to get in and get out, but that's exactly what the owners wanted. When one of my sons had their main brought out, even though we had asked for gravy on the side, his meal was drowned in gravy making it inedible for him. When we asked the waitress over to explain the problem, again a clueless reaction. When we asked to return the meal to get it correct, the manager told the waitress to tell us that he doesn't have time to fix the order, even though his cook stuffed it up in the first place. So should my son just not have dinner that night?! My wife had the Marinara and it was rubbery and tasteless and I am sure that the sauce came from a can, not "home made" like purported. The manager said that he would rather not serve us and rather us leave than remake or fix bad quality and incorrect food orders. So The Wood Oven would rather kick out my wife, myself and my two young sons than be decent to their customers. The attitude and quality of the food and both male and female owners at this overpriced "restaurant" was disgusting and offensive. If we never come back here again, it will be too soon. Shame on you. read more
