Friendly and talkative staff as well. We chatted about all things Doctor Who while I waited for my coffee. Speaking of which, this is very tasty and unique. Not too strong, but a beautiful tangy aftertaste. I'll be coming back again to sit, relaxed and watch the world go by while enjoying excellent coffee in a relaxed atmosphere.

Lovely presentation and well mannered staff Salmon on the eggs Benedict was saltier then anticipated but still delicious. Eggs were over done which was a let down. Coffee frapè was pretty much just a milk slush I've with a shot of coffee and whipped cream. Couldn't finish it because it wouldn't fit through the straw Was a nice surprise relaxing cafe but in conclusion not worth going out of your way

As we eat a lot on the run as we work between Medowie and Nelson Bay we often stop for a quick…read moresnack but alas never again here as the last time my wife stopped and bought a chicken pie she ended up in hospital with severe food poisoning. She said she should have known something was wrong as the pie was only lukewarm but as she was hungry she ate it anyway and suffered the severe consequences. 3 days in the Nelson Bay Policlinic where they were fantastic and another week off work. This was at the Salt Ash Bakery.
