Our experience was top notch. The prices are extremely affordable compared to other indoor playgrounds and trampoline parks and they also offer a military discount on top of that. The soft play was executed well. We've been to several play places around the US to include Urban Air, Get Air, Jump Sky High (all trampoline parks) and Kids Empire type places and this one was the best out of all of them. The availability of separate play spaces for different ages was awesome. However, I truly believe the main reason this experience was as positive as it was is mostly due to the management of Daquan (DQ) and his staff. DQ was cleaning the entire time we were there. From vacuuming, to spraying and wiping down, to tidying up and interacting with kids... he was doing it all with excellence. His other staff member was super friendly as well. If other places had employees with work ethic even a tenth of the caliber DQ had, the world would be a better place and businesses would thrive. Hyper Kidz should take note and take good care of him! Staff said it fell out his book bag. The staff did not care that I had to fight thru rush hour traffic after working a 16 hr shift just to double back for my son's belongings. We arrived early around 9:20am when the inflatable bounce houses were still getting filled but the doors were open and the person at the front desk said it was unexpectedly busy this morning! The place gets pretty busy but emptied out around 11:30 when I assume most people left to go get lunch/put kids down for nap time. Tons of cute little snack tables and chairs for the smaller kiddos and bigger ones for waiting parents/grandparents/caretakers etc. Lots of sanitizer on every counter. They also had Kleenex boxes out (they know their audience) and Clorox wipes at the front desk. There's 2 big bounce houses (a blue one and a red one). The red one is more for jumping and running around in circles and the blue one has a rainbow "floor" interior that is super fun to run across. There are also 2 karaoke rooms with an expansive music selection, colorful overhead lights, and microphones which you ask for from the front desk. They've got the giant piano on the floor like the one from the movie 'Big'. They've got music classes which I believe take place in the back near the restrooms. Love the giant guitar slide and it makes guitar sounds when you slide down. I went down the slide as well and it goes super quick!! I was definitely more scared going down than climbing up haha. Oh and they provide a shelf of croc sandals to wear if you need to rescue your frightened child (I made use of them). I could really go on forever about how amazing this place is. The percussion pots and pans and bells room was a big hit. My toddler wasn't ready for the big guitar slide, with climbing handholds and bars, but was able to enjoy everything else, including the small slide. I found it easy to carry my infant around and plop him on the floor from time to time with little worry. Some bigger kids run around but there are many side areas that are safer for the wee babes. There's music playing in the background and of course sounds coming from the many installments, and children shrieking. But overall, I didn't find the sound to be too loud or nauseating like it can be in some restaurants and such. There's plenty of space to enjoy snacks outside of the play area and clean bathrooms. At one point, a child became physically aggressive toward another child, and there was no intervention from staff or care for the little boy balling on the floor. There was also a child loudly expressing distress ("I hate this place") and acting out, again without clear redirection or support from teachers. As a parent, what stood out most was the lack of active engagement and supervision. It did not feel like a structured or safe environment for young children. Kids running wild and unsupervised. We ultimately decided this was not the right place for our family, and I would strongly encourage other parents to do a thorough visit and observe closely before even considering it as an option.

Ms Katina (the manager) who works the front desk know all of the kids by name. She is very attentive to the kids. She keeps band aids for boo boos, has a hug and kind words for kids having a bad day. There's a Pizza Hut right next door which is super useful for feeding the kids. Angel Island can arrange for the pizza to be delivered, but they charge a fee, and it's pretty easy to just walk over there and grab the pizza yourself :) There's plenty of stuff for the kids to do, like play in the ball pit, jump on the sticky wall with a Velcro suit, or go on the merry-go-round. The party room was pretty barebones but it got the job done. I will say that my son developed influenza B about one day after his party, but I'm not 100% sure he caught it at Angel Island since that's a pretty short (but not unheard of) incubation period. I will say it didn't seem like the cleanest venue and there were tons of kids running around, but who knows :) Overall, my kid had a good time and I think it's a pretty decent choice for a birthday party.
