There is metered street parking as well as validated parking in the parking garage nearby. The studio is very clean and organized. They have lockers for everyone to put their stuff in before you enter the workout rooms. They also have a refillable water station. I took the Sunday 11am class and I loved it. Music was energetic and kept me motivated. Instructor had good energy. The instructor was friendly and guided us through every exercise. There were about 10 people in the class. We started off in the room at the end of the studio where we did jumping jacks, running, lat pull downs, and other exercises. Once we finished that circuit, we moved into the room with the weights. We did a full body workout from squats to burpees. I was challenged and pushed to do my best which I always appreciate. He believes in all his students and definitely did not go easy on us! They have classes everyday that you can do. I will definitely be coming back. If you're looking to get sweaty and challenge your normal workout routine, definitely check out this place!

My wife and I have been doing 1 on 1 personal training here since May and we ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT!…read moreI've been working out on and off for years but knew I needed that extra discipline and guidance to truly "be" in the shape I want to be and wife never had much strength training exp. and I wanted her to build more muscle strength. We talked to the owner, Brian, who's friendly and very helpful, for our initial assessment & goal-setting, and through the machine scan, he explained in detail the roadmap for each of us and how long it would take, and we began our journey of 2x/wk personal training. We were soon paired with our wonderful trainer, Ajit, and we couldn't be happier with him - Ajit truly cares about your goals, pushes you when you need it, patiently explains and answers questions so that we increase our fitness/body knowledge, and is just a cool dude to work with. He's serious but easygoing and isn't one of those trainers who're too brash, talks your ear off, or too distant. In a month, we requested another body scan and I've made noticeable gains in muscle mass, so we were all pretty excited! The place is a bit cramped, split into 2 rooms, but it's clean and well-maintained. They're going to expand to downstairs so hopefully there would be more space and bench presses(!). This isn't your standard gym but for 1 on 1, this is the place to be! Highly recommended for serious, mature/older (35+) people who want to get real serious about taking control of their fitness!

    ### Regarding Physical Therapy…read more I came in July to work on my shoulder. I couldn't do a pull up anymore or a full range pushup without severe discomfort. Previous effort helped normalize the pain, but I didn't make great progress on my own. I started with doubt that I could recover range and ability. Within 2 months of work so far, Taylor has stepped the programming based on his observations of my current ability. Just when I thought I was getting used to the work, he pulled the line. I was able to, as part of the regular programming able to do a pushup off the floor with disbelief. The same goes with a pull up as well. His decades of experience works you, as long as you give it a chance, consistently. ### Regarding Group Fitness Class The daily group classes are in a place of itself. It will introduce you to movements that you may not do well, increase your mobility and cardio fitness. There are many levels of people who participate, all growing together. The programming is well thought out and structured. Highly recommend as I have taken the dive fitting this into my various routines. Since the free trial, I am definitely moving differently compared to the extreme difficulty I had initially. I thought I had some kind of fitness, but this exposed me to challenge me. Living proof! I really enjoy being a member at The Gym. The space is always clean,…read morethe equipment is modern, and the staff is friendly, but what truly makes my experience special is my trainer Monica. Before working with her, I had never strength-trained. She taught me the mind muscle connection. As a runner with a few imbalances, I really value how she builds in mobility, flexibility, and functional strength so I move and feel better overall. In five months, the progress has been amazing. Monica plans every session thoughtfully, challenging but never overwhelming, and always tailored to my needs. Her coaching style is the perfect blend of clear instruction, supportive energy, and just the right amount of push. What really sets her apart is her holistic approach. As a certified yoga teacher, she brings mindfulness and stress relief into each session, making every workout feel like a full reset. And as a chef with nutrition certification, her advice and meal plans are realistic, sustainable, and never restrictive. I couldn't ask for a better trainer. Monica is knowledgeable, caring, and genuinely dedicated. I highly recommend her.

You need to get the facts straight first before you jump the gun on how friendly Frank was to me because that's simply NOT the case... My ID is 100% valid. Im retired like I told him several times This is what I clearly told Frank a year ago and he said that it was" no issue at all" ..So I ended up coming back to the club a year later to finally join up. He asked me for ID which I showed him, then he started to say oh didn't you come in here a year ago etc, so I said yes I did. He then tells me "oh your ID says retired you can join at the full rate" and "I told you last time that im not giving you the discount we offer ...(that's not true at all ), What he said was that it was NO ISSUE".. He started to examine my ID, hold it up to the light literally about 5 different times ,,,Not sure what that was about...I said Frank, " WHAT ARE YOU DOING WITH MY ID- YOURE EXAMINING IT LIKE ITS A FAKE $100 BILL OR SOMETHING, I said is there an issue?????..and he says " OH NOTHING I WAS JUST LOOKING AT IT. He then continues to say he's not giving me the discount and he told me this last year. I said NO PROBLEM...I was leaving, asked him for my ID back, and he started taking pictures of my ID with his phone... Maybe you can clear that up for me Andrew..what was that about after I said no problem and was clearly leaving the club with my coat on. Why did he start taking pictures of My ID? I mean I could care less that you or him think my ID is not valid, I could care less about any discount, or joining your club..Thats not the point at all.. I just didn't appreciate the way I was treated..PERIOD. Its really as Simple as that..I hope this clears it up for you. My experience was not good.

I'm a fitness and wellness junkie who loves trying new ways to move my body. I've recently been…read morecurious about pilates and decided to take my first class at Impact Group Fitness in Fort Lee. I stumbled upon the studio on the ClassPass app. They're a one stop shop for HIIT, sculpt, and strength classes. They offer two different formats - low impact (sculpt, barre, pilates, yoga) and high impact (dance, strength, circuits, HIIT). I signed up for the 45 minute Mat Pilates class with Cassidy on a Tuesday night. They're located on a busy street, so you'll have to find metered parking. Upon walking in I was greeted by the warm receptionist. I signed a waiver and she gave me a tour. The studio is pretty small. It's squeaky clean, bright, and minimalistic. There's a "lobby"/waiting area with a merchandise display. They have changing rooms, a bathroom, coat hooks, and free lockers. They only have one group fitness room with a large mirror and barre. All of the equipment for the mat pilates class was already provided to us (mat, ankle weights, magic circle, and dumbbells). I like that the class sizes are small because I prefer a more intimate experience. There were about 12-15 of us. The instructor, Cassidy, started and ended the class right on time. Let me just say this. THIS WORKOUT HUMBLED ME. I consider myself to be a fairly fit individual, but this was a humbling experience. The workout was split into core, back, upper, and lower body with different exercises for each section. It was low impact with HIGH intensity and lots of reps. We focused on form, functional movement, and mind to muscle connection. Pilates has a big emphasis on targeting deep, stabilizing muscles through using precise movements. I was huffing and puffing LOL... I FELT THE BURN!!! My core stability, flexibility, and endurance was PUT TO WORKKKK. Definitely a challenge, but fun at the same time. Cassidy was encouraging and welcoming the entire time. There were women of all different shapes, sizes, and fitness levels. We didn't feel any pressure. She gave us modifications and corrections when needed. My only critique is that she could've paused and demonstrated each exercise before we started. She jumped right in after each set and it was a little hard to see her since I was in the far left corner. I also would've liked a little introduction to the class format before we began (especially for first timers), but that's just me being big on education lol. They have monthly memberships, class packs, and drop in rates. I'll be trying a few more classes through ClassPass and I may consider getting a membership afterwards. Should you try pilates? DUH. And for those who think it "looks or sounds easy".... OH PLEASE!!! Try it out for yourself. I absolutely think it's a workout that will be rewarding and challenging for everyone.

Unfortunately, I'm not God's favorite... so I have to work out to maintain my figure... which…read morebrings me to my 7 year rollercoaster of a relationship with 24 Hour Fitness. I first joined in 2018 and it's sad to see how downhill the corporation has gone. The glory days ended shortly after the COVID pandemic. Since then, they've closed over 7 NJ locations, cut down opening hours, cut down on group classes, removed towel service, and have limited sauna and pool hours. I understand that it took time for gyms to recover and get back into full swing. But it's 2025 now. There's way too much competition in the fitness industry for 24 to be operating the way it is. My biggest ick? The gym is not maintained well at all. Machines and equipment are broken down for months. There's a hand dryer in the women's bathroom that has been out of order since last Spring. There's a constant foul smell in certain areas, most likely due to broken pipes. There's always a problem with the AC during summer months, making it uncomfortably hot. The entire facility needs a deep cleaning from head to toe. What are we paying a maintenance fee for? Come on... Putting the negatives aside, there are some positives. *The floor has all of your basic equipment: treadmills, bikes, stairmasters, squat racks, barbells, benches, dumbbells, kettlebells, TRX, cables, and machines. I can recommend this gym for beginner to intermediate lifters. It's not a bodybuilder or powerlifting gym. *Their Zumba classes are SO MUCH FUN. Don't judge a book by its cover... get in there!!! Take Lucia, Lynn, Nina, or Melissa's classes. Check the website for the full class schedule. *They have a sauna, steam room, pool, and showers with limited hours. I only use the sauna and it's relaxing when it's not super crowded. *The front desk staff is friendly and welcoming. They're personable and will remember you. *My membership allows me to have access to other regional locations as well as bringing guests. Pricing is a bit all over the place. It all depends on when you join, what kind of membership you have, and what sales/promotions are going on. Some members pay $24 or $34 a month, while others are paying $54. It's best to ask the front desk what the lowest rate is. Overall, it's not the worst gym in the world. It gets the job done for my fitness routine. I just wish the maintenance was a lot better and that they would have later hours. Honestly, I've been thinking about finding another gym. If it weren't for the friends and community I've made and my lower price rate, I would have left awhile ago. I'm willing to spend more $$$ on a membership for a much better experience.
