Great food. Awesome bar. I loved, loved, loved the seats. My waitress was a joy to have around! Fun lady!

One of my favorite places to get some quick food and beer. The food is very good. It's not your typical restaurant but the kitchen is very clean and I've never had a problem with anything I've ordered. The staff is friendly and courteous. The beer selection is great. They have probably 100 televisions and game room and pool tables. They have keno and scratch tickets and pulltabs etc. They have trivia nights and beanbag toss nights and they have a great free comedy show on Tuesdays. The family who owns this business is there working seven days a week. They are great people and provide excellent service. I recommend getting the chicken deluxe sandwich it's great! read more

A hidden gem- Skybox Function Room. Perfect atmosphere for a function. Scott and Jeff were amazing from the planning to closing the party. We were skeptical at first based on the room rental cost, only $100.00 for the room. They were willing to allow us to bring our own food or order them their menu. We choice to order the food from them and we have zero regrets. It was served on time, hot,delicious and very reasonable priced. I wouldn't over look The Winner's Circle for a function. It is a great place for a group of friends to watch a game or head to after playing in a sporting event. The staff is friendly and with no wait staff, there is no "in your face" waitressing. There are pool tables in a seeparate area than the bar, with tvs and a juke box. It has some arcade games, with keno and a fully attended too lottery machine. The beer and food is a bit pricey and the platters arent very filling, and the kitchen closes early for those later evenings that last past 10pm so eat before you come! read more

I met my boyfriend for a beer after work here one night. The place was unusual when you walk in and all I felt was stares from everyone in the place. People literally stared until I sat down. I could tell it was like a regulars type of place but just wanted a beer and then go home. The first bartender on was okay, she got us the beers and asked u to cash out right away because she was leaving. We wanted another beer and the next bartender ignored us while our beers were sitting there empty. we also wanted a app and once we got his attention we were wondering about the fries. There was quite a few different options. The man spoke to us like we were idiots very unprofessional and very unfriendly. Food was brought to us at a good amount of time and was okay. Took forever for him to pay attention to us to get the check. We could have just left that is how much he cared, and it was a Monday night so it was slow. I felt like it would be a fun place to go with your friends to watch the game but defiantly felt like a place you had to be a regular. But who wants to become a regular when your first experience is so uncomfortable. read more

The "Circle" is definitely a unique type of sports bar. The strange setup here can be very confusing for someone coming here on their first visit. But it definitely has a laid back feel to it. They have a takeout food system near the front door where you place your order, get a number ticket, and pick it up when it's called. The food is okay. It's nothing too fancy but decent bar food. My favorite is the pepperoni pizza. I usually order the small pizzas because they seem to cook better than the large ones. The beer selection here is pretty good. They have a good selection for everyone from the very affordable American classic PBR to some craft beers that they serve on a rotation schedule. Plus a couple fruit beers and ciders. They have free pool on Mondays, free comedy on Tuesdays, cornhole tournaments on Wednesdays, and make sure to check out their trivia on Thursdays! read more

The Winner's Circle is a Sports Bar that's been around since 1973. They haven't changed much but that's what gives it its character. Prices are CHEAP CHEAP. A 24oz PBR is $3.25. Try getting that deal in Newburyport. Food is great and they have daily specials. Fish Chowder is OUT OF THIS WORLD good and the seafood is from David's Fish Market down the street. They've got tons of tvs, pool tables, keno, pull tabs, and a game room for the kid inside of you. It is CASH ONLY and self-serve but that means no one bothers you to hurry up and leave. Love free pool mondays, hilarious free comedy on tuesdays, and free trivia on thursdays ($100 CASHHH prize!). Can't beat that. Favorite bar in the area for sure read more

The Winner's Circle is good for keno and a beer. The food isn't wonderful, but it's cheaply priced, so you get what you pay for there. It's one of those places where the locals go drink and get trashed, trashed mouth too; them and the bartender. So if you're looking for some entertainment on the side with keno; this is the place to go. Otherwise, buy your keno ticket there and eat next door. I've had their clam roll for about ten bucks and it was delicious, but it wasn't all that big, but again, neither was the price. I had their onion rings too and did not feel they were taken out of a freezer as suggested above, although that person thought it was weird there was no malt vinegar on the table. Boy I missed this place. Great place to catch the game but the original building interior is starting to show it's age. After my visit I was disappointed with the quality of the food. They need to get rid of the farmed out kitchen crew they have now. They can't cook a simple steak sandwich. The meat was burned and dry and for 8 bucks for the tiny sandwich they don't even give you fries. How times have changed. read more

We were there for a family party tonight when one guest, a nursing mother, needed a place to pump. The bartender, a mother of three herself, understood and spoke to the manager, Scott, who was so kind and understanding. He told us that the Winner's Circle holds a running club and has a women's Locker room on the lower level. It has a shower and changing room without any cameras. It was so kind of them to go out of their way to accommodate her. Thank you! I highly recommend this establishment to everyone! read more

Perfect bar food! The fries and pizza are awesome! Most of all we love the company. We are from out of town and it is a great place to go to feel like home. 5 years we have been stopping in to this bar for a bite to eat and a couple of drinks and the service is always outstanding. I've been frequenting the Winners Circle for 15 years, and everytime I visit it seems like they have have made some sort of improvement. Its a great place to watch a game with your buddies, grab a bite to eat and have a beer. They have great pub food, pizza, wings, burgers, etc. They also have many beers on tap, keno, pool, darts, and a game room. Best sports bar in the area. read more

The bartenders are rude and have no personalitys they act like you are bothering them.

PROS: The food was pretty good for bar food. Just be sure to specify the toppings you want on your burgers...they are not standard. You order at the front so you do not have to tip anyone. CONS: They only take cash. You need 2 forms of ID to buy alcohol...if you are from out of state, one needs to be a passport. Lame. There are no free refills on your soda, and water comes from the back faucet. Perhaps Loser Circle is a better name? read more

The pizza is really good,thats why i go there. I do get pissed off at the place having ash trays at the door going in!! State law is 25 feet from entrance you can smoke !! They shouldn't be smoking at the door!! read more

I walked through the bar and seen chicken wings that might be good. ...When. I got them they where a reheated fried old order with the teriyaki sauce fried on them and they where dried black from frying them with sauce on them. I returned them and got wing dings. I'll never go back and am thinking about calling the board of health. read more

Pretty cheap food and drinks. A few big T.V screens with the games on, a small game room for the kids. They have descent food and good bar drinks. There is Keno and scratch tickets. They have a room upstairs your can rent for functions, pretty basic but nice. overall not a bad place. read more

I love coming here! It's been a staple of my life since I was a teenager going to birthday parties and playing arcade games! to having beers there in my twenties and now I go on Tuesday nights for the FREE standup comedy show. Great place to go to. I've been going there for years. After a while you get to know the bartenders and the regulars that go in. The "Winner's Circle" is a fun place to go if you're in the mood for something to eat, drink, watch a sporting event on the many TV's. You can also play Keno! There's a game room for the kids and the OLD kids!..............A function room upstairs is a perfect place for a birthday party or any function....My family had a birthday party there and we brought in food and party goods...Plenty of pool tables and TV's. Man at the door was very pompous. He acted annoyed as I fiddled for my ID then stared at it for longer than usual as if inferring it was a fake. Forgetful service. Food was nothing special. I'd rethink before choosing here. Definitely won't be returning. read more
