I LOVED it there! it was quite the drive but they had so many options! the prices were pretty good! though some dresses were pretty expensive I got mine for $200!! though if you shop for a prom dress and you go in the couture section on the second floor the ladies there are kind of judgy. so if you stick to the dresses on the regular floor you'll be good! the other workers were so nice and helpful. read more

No Refunds on Cash Purchases....they only give Store Credit......they did not tell us that when we bought the dress. My sister purchased a dress paying cash and when we returned it (within the 14 days as noted on the slip), we were told about the store credit. We will never shop there again..... read more

I had called 2 days prior to coming to the winner and asked if I had to make an appt to try on wedding dresses and I was coming on Monday they said I did not need an appt so I said ok . I took off from work that day along with My mother and sister and went to the wedding dress floor . I said I was there to try on wedding dresses she then asked for my name i told her she then went to look at her book and said oh u didn't schdule a appt i explained I called and they told me I did not need one she then says well We Don't have anyone available its first come first serve she says U can look at the dresses on ur own i said no I need help she says well like I said the 2 sales girls are busy. She then says well maybe someone from another floor can help but they might be busy . I was so upset I then Said I'm leaving . She never once apologized to us made us feel like we were nothing ! If I could give 0 stars I would! This was the worst experience I have ever had!!!!! I went in to try on wedding gowns for the first time. I was told all of the "big" sizes are located in the back. I went to look on the gowns in the front of the store, and I was told those are the "small" sizes you wont be able to try those on. She never asked me my name, my wedding date, and when I told her what dress I was looking for she told me that's out of style and they don't have anything like that in their store. When I asked why they didn't have much selection in my size she told me she would get the manager to ask. The manager came over and said we don't have a lot in that size because "larger" women like to be more covered up than smaller women. I was absolutely appalled at how I was treated!!!!! No one should ever be treated this was after driving 1.5 hours to get there! Save yourself a trip! There selection was terrible, and the way I was treated was even worse!!! read more

Older store...wide selection of pricey prom/homecoming dresses and unique clothing. UNFORTUNATELY I was there for wedding dress shopping with my daughter. We made an appt and upon arrival we were "assigned" a sales lady named Mary. It was horrendous. My sister and I were sent to sit by the mirrors while Mary helped my daughter into and out of dresses. My daughter reports that Mary didn't speak to her in the dressing room. I myself noticed that Mary did not even take the time to lace up the back of the dresses my daughter tried on. Mary seemed irritated and moody. She would not listen to my daughter who told her what kind of dress she wanted...and Mary continued to ignore her requests..bringing instead dresses for her to try on that were the opposite of what my daughter wanted. I almost think she WANTED us to leave. We eventually did leave..with nothing but a bad taste in our mouths for The Winner...and Mary. We were going to look at bridesmaid dresses, there are 8 bridesmaids, as well as mother of the bride dresses...we didn't do that and they lost a big sale. We have been to Toulas in Canfield Ohio, Treasured Moments, Alfred Angelo's, Davids Bridal, Jacqueline's Bridal and we were treated very well...this..was just horrible and my daughter was in tears. I was shopping for my wedding dress when I went to The Winner. I had just recently been to David's Bridal and I will admit that I was comparing the service of the two. The consultant I was working with at The Winner did not ask me what style I liked or what color I was wanting. She merely pointed out the appropriate size rack. The dresses were all in bags and I could not tell what style they were or their prices. I picked a few and when we were in the room she fluffed the dresses out on the floor for me to step into! When they were on I could see rips and loose beads from people stepping in them. I could also see that the dresses were $1200! My budget was $1000 or less! When we were finished with a dress she would expect me to get out of it on my own and then either leave it on the ground or hang it up myself while she busied herself with the next dress. I eventually had to tell her what my budget was. Not pleased. At all. read more

I had THE GREATEST experience here shopping for my wedding dress!! Shopping at 5 other bridal shops this month prior to visiting this one, I didn't expect much, but the Winner changed my view of bridal shops! I had an appt for Sunday morning at 11 am and I was greeted warm heartedly at the front door by a lovely woman who directed me to the bridal department for my appointment with Sam. Sam was wonderful to work with, being extremely patient, giving her honest opinion, and showing a true interest in my wedding plans and in finding me the perfect dress. She was the reason I had such a wonderful experience at the Winner. Mona, the manager, was also extremely helpful in going over my dress (which I bought as a floor model) closely and carefully to find all small items that needed to be touched up and gave me a generous and well appreciated discount. I highly recommend the Winner for the bride looking for that unique and affordable dream wedding dress! read more

i was told to go shopping for my prom dress here because of the selection. All my friends told me it was a prom dress wonderland. I had high expectations. I wish I could have given this 3 or maybe 4 stars, but, the customer service was horrendous. The winner is basically located in the ghetto, which I didn't expect because of some steep price tags. The building is very old and slightly abandoned looking. I am from Cleveland and the drive was a little over an hour. First of all, you can only put ONE dress on hold for ONE hour, and not take dresses from different floors. The dressing rooms smelled like an old library. Thankfully I had my mom there because no one offered to help me with ANYTHING. Not a zipper, or to check for another size. I was especially disappointed because the girl trying on dresses next to me was being helped with everything, and made small talk. When I would come out to look in the larger mirror, the sales clerks would just stare expressionless or with a rude smirk. I loved the dress I ended up purchasing but I am not sure if I would want to come back. read more
