My mother and I went into Jacqueline's Bridal to see if there were any dresses she would be interested in trying on before booking an appointment. She arrived a few minutes before I did. During the exchange my mother had with Jacqueline, my mother noticed a dress for $1,100. My mother made a comment about not spending that much on a dress. And Jacqueline rudely stated "okay, then what IS your budget". I then arrived and attempted to see if the selection ended where I could see or if the room was longer than that, as we were greeted at the door and blocked from entering further. I walked two steps forward to observe the space and Jacqueline then forcefully grabbed my wrist and moved me from the area as I was attempting to observe their selection. Upon my husband calling, to confirm if the grab was intentional or accidental in the force used, the person who answered the phone, also Jacqueline, was rude, and then proceeded to hang up on my husband and stated they have "no idea what you're (husband) talking about". I heard wonderful things about this place but for them to treat potential customers, let alone anyone for that matter, is disgraceful and unprofessional. read more

THE best! I actually found the dress I wanted at a shop in Pittsburgh. However, my experience there was not good and I was not willing to give them my business. So, I searched other bridal stores who carried the designer of the dress I was looking for and found Jacquelines. Jackie was beyond helpful, understanding, and accommodating from the moment she answered the phone. She did research, made suggestions and phone calls, and was extremely prompt and responsive. Because of her amazing customer service, I drove an hour to deal with her rather than a store much closer to me. She was willing to come into the shop whenever it was convenient for me regardless if they were "closed", price match, retake my measurements, ensure my dress was here in time, etc. She's genuine and truly cares about her customers. This was my first stop. I walked in with a picture of a dress to use as an example of what I was looking for. They actually had the dress! I spent the rest of my day running from store to store looking for shoes, earrings, etc. but returned it all because they had a pair of shoes, in my size! that went better than the other two pairs I had purchased elsewhere. And to top it off, bought their earrings too as it was all just much nicer than what I had purchased at the other stores. I think even if I hadn't found my dress here, I would still give it 5 stars--that's my claim that no I am not biased on this place just because this is where I said yes to the dress! This was the third bridal shop I went to while in search of "the" dress for my big day. I came here because I (thought) I wanted a Justin Alexander dress, and I looked up which salons near me had it (this was after I already went to two). I then turned to Yelp for advice on which one to choose, and out of all the remaining places, I felt that I would have the best shot with this place. I choose correctly. When we first pulled in the driveway, I thought the place looked unbelievably small. When I stepped inside, I was extremely impressed with how clean and organized the shop is. It's like a mini version of a high end store. The dresses were a little more pricey than I probably would have liked, but it DEFINITELY beats Davids Bridal. IMO, it's one of the most important days of your life and trust me, you do NOT want to skip on quality. This is a place that you get what you pay for--for sure worth it. The bridal shop's daughter, Amber, helped me with choosing my dress. What I really loved is she said all her expectations UP FRONT before we started the appointment. No one could give their opinion before me (very helpful) and she was extremely respectful of my budget. If you have the chance to work with her (this must be a part time/during summer thing b/c she's also a special-ed teacher), What I liked most about her is what other people might not like--she was like me as in she got straight to the point and cut through all the bullshit. She would ask if I like a dress and I would say "Ummm....yeahhh...." and her response to me would be "talk to me. What do you like? what do you like?" She asked me things and made me answer her to quickly get to the bottom of what I wanted. I didn't think she was pushy in any way, shape, or form, and I NEVER felt rushed---again, because she set the expectations at the beginning of the appointment and said she would be there until midnight helping me look for a dress if she had to. Jackie is a very difficult person to work with. Due to COVID, a wedding was postponed and I received my dress a couple days ago. The employees wrote "6" for the size tag but the dress tag said "4." Jackie is claiming that I changed my sizing and signed it (for the size 4) which I did not and I have proof of that through my email. I called and asked her why she wrote 6 on the dress tag if the manufacturer tag said 4. She avoided the question and refused to refund me and hung up on me. I would never recommend this shop to anyone as she refuses to acknowledge her mistake and is incredibly rude and a straight up Karen. Avoid going here if you can as she will steel your money and refuse to own up to her mistakes. Would give this shop 0 stars if I could. Look at the google reviews as there are a lot more and many people are rating her a 1/5 on it. Seriously, stay away. The problem with small towns is that there are limited options and people like her can get away with treating people like trash. read more

This shop was my second stop while searching for my wedding gown. I found the dress of my dreams and can I just say that the owner and her team are amazing. I had my second alteration appointment and had a bit of a "moment" because the anxieties of having a wedding was catching up to me. Mimi, the seamstress, is fantastic at what she does and so patient. I went shopping with my friend (shoutout to my fellow Yelper, Meagan!) for her wedding dress at Jacqueline's Bridal over the weekend and had SUCH a good experience! It was a bit of a drive from my parents' house in Cleveland, but totally worth it. Andrea* (the daughter of the shop owner) assisted us and she was incredibly helpful. She put a lot of emphasis on making sure the bride-to-be got to speak before any of the rowdy group of on-lookers (otherwise known as her bridal party) gave their two cents. There were a lot of beautiful dresses, but she was able to single one out and say "yes to the dress!" and looked absolutely stunning. I don't know that we would've been able to make such a seamless decision without all the help from Andrea! Although she definitely made the process much faster than I thought possible, she was very patient and we never felt rushed. She repeatedly told us that she'd be willing to stay with us as long as needed to make sure the bride felt 100% sure about her decision. She was seriously great and I'd recommend her to anyone I know looking for a dress in the area. One minor thing that I could see being a "negative" to some: Jacqueline's has a strict policy (enforced by designers) that they do not allow photos to be taken of the bride while trying on the dresses. Andrea did a very fair job explaining this policy, and once you commit to a dress, you can take all the pictures your heart desires. From the sounds of it, this is a common policy of designers, even if most shops do not adhere to it. *I'm not actually sure "Andrea" was our associate's name...but it definitely started with an A, and I highly recommend her! read more

This place has horrible customer service and it seems like it is a complete hassle to even help you. No you cannot take a picture of the bridesmaids dresses, the dress and how you look at it. You cannot pick up the dress for the bridal party and the owner is rude, I would have never gone there had I known the experience would be this way. I wanted to help serve the community and stay local. I would choose david's bridal or alfred angelos anyway over them. read more

I am not one to post negative reviews, but this is necessary. To say that my experience at this shop was disgraceful is an understatement. What I dealt with and how I felt, no bride should ever have to feel! Purchasing a wedding dress is the utmost important in a bride's planning process. This shop was the first place that I went to to begin my dress shopping for my wedding and I wish I never went. I told Brittney when I made my appointment I was just looking. Our appointment was at 5pm and they closed at 6pm. During the appointment I was rushed and not treated with any kindness. Brittney had asked the other sales associate in the middle of my appointment "how are we on time". The audacity to ask that when I had an appointment just so she could leave right at close makes me wish I walked out right then. I ended up liking two dresses and was conflicted. My mom could see it in my face I was stressed and horribly pressured by Brittney, so she spoke up for me and said lets go home and think about it. Brittney had the audacity to turn to my mother and scold her that she's taking my moment. I left in tears with a dress I DID NOT EVEN WANT. This shop does not care about customer care AT ALL. Following this we called Jackie and explained what happened. She canceled the order and allowed me to come in and re-try on the two dresses again. This time I brought my maid and matron of honor with my mom and I. Brittney was rude as ever and ignorant to my Matron of Honor when she asked to see different veils for me. Nothing but ignorant attitudes and horrible sales pressure. The excuse for the pressure was COVID and they made me feel like I had to buy right now and gave me no time to think. Following this I had an appointment with Jackie to purchase extra lace appliqués. My mom and I were running 5/10 minutes late because we were working and coming during our lunch hour. I called Jackie to let her know we were a tad behind, but would be right there as we lived right around the corner. She SCREAMED at me on the phone and went off on me for being late because she only scheduled us for ten minutes and she had to leave. I had to get my mother on the phone with her to deescalate her drama. Her excuse was a sick family member... Even though I saw via FaceBook that the family member was coming home from the hospital the same day we had this appointment. Every time she was ignorant or raised her voice at us, her excuse was an ill family member. That says a lot about her own character, doesn't it? When my dress finally came in it was TOO BIG! I just got it the heck out if her shop as fast as I could. Later on, my bridesmaids and I went to look at dresses for ideas. When I booked the appointment Brittney and Jackie pretended as if they didn't know who I was even though I JUST picked up my wedding dress a few weeks prior. I was taking photos of a few to gather ideas so we could collectively decide as a group which to go with. SHE SCREAMED AT ME! Yet again, in the middle of her sales floor in front of other associates, my friends and customers! I took my photos and ordered TEN dresses from another shop who knows how to treat their customers :-) Also, I found a BETTER dress from another shop and sold her dress :-) I've told every person and bride I know to NOT go to this shop!! I will continue to do so. 10/10 would NOT recommend unless you want to be treated like garbage, sized incorrectly and over charged. I have no idea how she is still in business and perhaps needs to retake some business classes on customer service and respect 101. read more

Jacqueline knows her brides! My number one priority in a wedding dress was to be able to dance in it. Jacqueline really listened and paid attention to my personal style - I only had to try on three dresses before I found the one. My dress was not the most expensive one I tried on, but I never felt pressured to go for a dress with a higher price tag. I live in Boston, so Jacqueline was beyond helpful in scheduling fittings for when I was back in Ohio. I met with my seamstress Nancy twice in three days, and she was so helpful and talented...my dress fit like a glove. Some of Jacqueline's assistants can make you feel rushed, but not Jacqueline herself! Jacqueline's Boutique is the cutest shop, and helped me truly feel like a bride. read more

I went to every other store in the area before I happened upon this one. I will say it was one of the nicest stores that I had been in, and their dress selection wasn't terrible. However, one of their consultants is just rude. The appointment started off well, we went through picked about 8 dresses off the rack and started trying them on. I actually liked each dress that I tried on better, and my list of things I don't like/ would change shortened with every dress. I finally got to the second to last dress, and I didn't have any complaints about it, it was a beautiful dress, and if my wedding were outside in a garden, I probably would have chose that one. However, something was just missing, so I politely asked if I could try on the last dress in the room. The consultant asked me why. So I responded that while this dress was very pretty, it was missing something, and I didn't know what that something was. She begrudgingly put the last one on me, and I'm glad she did, because it was the one. Now then, I was with my future MIL so I of course wouldn't be buying the dress that day, but we asked her how long it would take to get the dress in. Initially she said 6 months, and then it was upped to 9 months when I said, so I should order by October for my June wedding. She was pressuring me to buy the dress. I ended up ordering the dress from a different salon, in a different area, because they were so absurdly awesome in their customer service. When we bought the dress, I asked how long it would take to get in and they said, no more than 6 months, and they have been coming in closer to 4. Isn't that lovely. read more
