I was really excited to try this place out and I was pretty disappointed. I waited an hour for my food. I ordered their loaded cheese fries and an order of garlic Parmesan wings. The wings were horrible they were soaked in butter and I didn't see or taste any Parmesan in them. However the loaded cheese fries were really good, but the ranch tasted like it came out of a bottle from Walmart. read more

Having been subjected to numerous miserable nights at fox and hound, I have finally found a place I feel appreciated. This is my second visit and the bartenders have been fast and friendly. One of the owners has check-in with me both times. The drinks are especially strong. The first night I had the Buffalo shrimp. It was very tasty. Spent a while looking for a place to eat dinner after 10pm & we're so glad we found this place! This is seriously the best "bar food" I've ever had. I got the chicken club sandwich with sweet potato waffle fries & cleared the entire plate. Everything about it was perfect & delicious! The boyfriend got the bacon cheddar burger with regular fries and he felt the same about his! The bun was awesome and their BBQ sauce is amazing (ordered the sauce in addition, on the side). I'm traveling for work and have now come in two nights in a row as the first night (yesterday) was just that good. My waitress was Jamie who was nothing short of amazing. First impression was she introduced herself, asked for my name and shook my hand. I live in California and this is far from custom there. If you're lucky, the server will smile at you. Anyways, back to Jamie. Super attentive, always making sure to refill and make sure I didn't need anything and always called me by name. She also remembered me the next day. Keep in mind today is game 7 of the Dallas Stars/St Louis game and it's PACKED with Texas faithful. Yet she still remembered my name. One of a thousand reasons Texas is already better than California. The food also was nothing short of amazing. First night I had the traditional songs; Asian and garlic Parmesan. They were juicy and seasoned great beyond the flavoring. I also had the tater tots. Second night, I had the club sandwich and fries which was also great as well. I was let down after hearing all the reviews about how good the wings were. Well they are not that good! And over priced! Had an awkward interaction when we were seated. 3 different ladies came over but now took our drink order. Then the owner came over and made us want to leave, when instead of getting our drink order was more curious on how we got menus. But we stayed to wind up paying for the aforementioned lackluster over priced wings. Won't be returning. The only bright spot was the waitress we finally got. My husband and I tried this new restaurant in Richardson yesterday. We went in about 1pm and it was completely dead. There was only 1 other table, which already had their food. Our waitress came over to greet us and took our drink order. She was very pleasant and friendly. It took us a few minutes to decided on the food. I tried the 3 sliders. I had the smoked brisket slider, which did not taste smoked and was in a sweet BBQ sauce. It was a bit dry. I had the pulled pork, which was in the same BBQ and was sweet. It was very tender and good. I also had the buffalo chicken slider. The wing sauce was very good. I did have to ask for ranch since it did not come with a sauce to cool the heat. The sweet potato fries were good as well. My husband had the build a burger with a turkey patty. He ordered 1/3lb but I think they gave him the 1/2lb. It was huge. Our food took almost 20 minutes to come out which seems really long since no one was really in the restaurant. Another table came in after us and ordered, their food was at the table with in 15 minutes. Not sure if there was an issue with our food or not. The restaurant is very clean. They have 2 pool tables, several TVs, and a nice bar. It is very spacious and could accommodate larger parties. They did not have a formal sign which may be why the customers are not there. I went to Wing Nuts at about 5pm and it was pretty empty (keep in mind they have only been open about a month and a half and they don't even have a sign up yet). I am hoping that good things get spread about them by word of mouth because their food was VERY good! We got the fried pickles first. These have to be the best thing on the menu. They are perfectly cooked, crunchy, thick slices of pickle. I hope they don't ever change their recipe for them because I would go back solely for just that. We got the burger and wings for our meals. The burger was great. The wheat bun was toasted and tasty and the meat was cooked just how I like it, although it was a little salty. The wings were the other order. We got two flavors, garlic parm and lemon pepper. The wings were fried (not breaded, which I like) and the flavors were great. The only problem was they were in a puddle of oil at the bottom of the basket. Way greasier than most wings I've been served, but if I dabbed it with a paper towel it was fine. All in all, great food, our service was nice and fast, and the place was very clean. I would go back again. read more

Great little bar off 75 and even better wings. The style of wings are like of Wing Stop as in it's a hot sauce based and not a butter based like Hooters. Which is my favorite kinda wings. The wings are massive so when trying to order keep that in mind. The staff is super friendly especially the very attractive Mary our waitress of the evening, she was very helpful and super friendly. Yes, it is a good wing spot. None of those dinky little wings. Good selection of flavors. Professional staff - never had a problem getting food or a drink. Lots of screens. Sometimes it feels a little bit like an old creepy dude hang out, but I think that is just from me knowing there was a bikinis there before which was absolute garbage. New business that took over a restaurant space on 75 and Campbell. Cliched interior bar design; dark wood high tops, neon beer signs, and flags for every college and pro sports team from DFW and the Big 12. The food itself was pretty good, the wing flavor selection was similar to franchise places, Parmesan garlic, hot, atomic, etc, with nachos, cheese fries, and salads. Wide variety of top shelf liquor and draft beers. I can imagine with big football games, the abundance of TV's would be a great place to watch sports with buddies. When I went with some friends, it was barely full, about 12 other people seated at the bar. Our biggest thing is that the service is lacking; our server didn't write our food orders down and had to come back to our table four times to correct what they thought they heard from the original order and didn't input one item. So while the rest of our food came out we were still waiting on one more that came out about ten minutes after. Decent local place with a great variety of food and beer and apparently daily happy hour specials which could make for a fun after work outing. read more

We decided to try a new place for wings based off the reviews, but we were very disappointed. The chicken wings were dry, not flavorful and you could tell they weren't fresh at all. The hot lemon pepper wasn't hot nor did it have a great lemon pepper taste. The mango habanero sauce has a syrupy consistency and was too sweet. I didn't try the other 3 flavors we ordered, but from what everyone else at the table said, they were not good at all. The fried pickles were decent and that's about it. Even the coke wasn't right. Talking about feeling unwelcome. This place gave me a bad vibe upon entry! Today/Friday I walked into Wing d' Nut for lunch. I stood at the entrance for a couple of few minutes, with no greeting, no I will be with you in a second, no nothing. I decided to find someone that worked there. There was this man that worked there that was socializing with a few folks at the bar. I asked him, where can I place a to-go order? He pointed at a waitress and said she will help you. He walked behind the bar and proceeded with laughing and talking to the people at the bar, never asking can I help you. The waitress gives me this nonchalant just a second. So I'm standing there like a lost puppy waiting. She finally comes to me and asked, what do you want to order? I'm like can I have a menu? she gets the menu and lays the menu on top of the counter and walks away. I'm like okay! So I'm standing there looking around, like really! So after about 4/5 minutes I put the menu back on the counter and decided to leave. I'm not a person that normally brings up the race cards HOWEVER, as an African-American I can definitely tell today 12-17-21 was not a welcoming day for us. The Wing'd Nut does not EVER have to worry about me patronizing their business. If I could have given zero stars I would have. read more
