There is always plenty of friendly banter in the line, especially on these hot Mississippi afternoons. They only accept cash, but there is an ATM in the gas station next door. The menu is displayed in delightful misspellings on the window on the outside. Chicken on a stick is a MUST. Firstly, it is huge, a full chicken breast at least. Secondly, the quality and taste is better than any other chicken on a stick you have ever had. This is their trademark meal and they get it right. Its $6 for a huge stick with the best deep fried white meat you'll ever have. Since they have a high turnover of these you'll probably have good luck getting in and out with it quickly. They are opening a rib joint next door so I am not sure how that will affect their BBQ offerings going forward. MUST HAVE DISHES IN JACKSON: You MUST have the Chicken on a Stick. This is the most recommended dish for good reason. Not only is it incredible value, but the chicken is some of the best fried white meat chicken I've ever had. The potatoes, onions and the one sneaky pickle on there are just a delight. Fair warning, the hot version is not really much different, just get the regular one and put some hot sauce on it.
