Went here for a birthday party and was disappointed to find that they didn't have the walkers for people who don't know how to skate to be able to skate without falling. All of the soda tasted off as well. Almost none of the arcade machines worked which left nothing to do for those who can't skate well. We tried helping our kid but it was like they just waxed the floors. Even other adults not with our party had complained about how slippery it was. The carpeted area was sticky and the snack area wasn't manned for most of the party. Won't be returning or throwing a party here. read more

The gentleman in the ticket booth wasn't friendly. When I asked for the price, he rolled his eyes and pointed to the small hand written sign. If you take little ones they do not have walker skates or walkers to help them. There's also very minimal railing for them to hold on to. Not to mention how hot it was inside. Decided to meet my family half way to asking rink and this one popped up, I wish I would of looked into the facility more prior to driving 25 miles when CalSkate is roughly 15 miles from me. Your charged for 2 hours of skating from 6-8 yet the doors didn't open until after 6:05. If you're going to run an establishment where you need to put on your skates and get situated prior to skiing, you would think you would open at least 10 minutes prior. Everything is extremely outdated, not only is it extremely hot in here they also do not offer bars for kiddos or beginners. the wheels on the skates black and filled with gunk so it makes it extremely hard to roll , we had to change three times .I wouldn't expect to pay more than $10 to enter this facility since all of the higher quality facilities charged the same price as here. For 80 bucks I would've just driven all the way to meet my family members at the epic roller rink. Please do your research before coming here. For the most part, it is clean and you are allowed to bring your own water. I would say those are the only pros. Not to mention, you can hear the people at the bar through the double doors as you're skating. Terrible. Do not waste your money here you'll leave with a sore throat and disappointment. This is probably the first and only time I will come and bring my family. Reason being for one, when the weather is in the triple digits outside, at least have the AC on a cool, comfortable setting. I came at 4pm, there was about only 20 people, and it was hot as hell! I couldn't skate for no more than 20 minutes because I was sweating so bad. Second, the rink was small, it had no railing around the rink just incase if anyone stumbled. And third, employees were hard to get ahold of when wanting a snack or a drink. And it took 30-40 minutes to get our food. All we ordered was a hot dog and some nachos. Very disappointing! read more

My only reason for coming to this place was to see the West Coast Wrestling Company's shows. After this past Saturday night I will never step foot in this establishment again. The attached bar has a very rude staff and one of them even referred to one of the Marines in attendance as the n-word. When the West Coast Wrestling Company complained about it they were told that if they didn't like it they could leave and not come back. Hi, I am 57 and I took my girlfriend to go roller skating at the wheel house roller rink. I called and asked what the age of the average people were there. The person on the phone said 50-50, kids and adults. I showed up Saturday right after they opened in the evening and it was all kids a few parents watching them, so this place on a Saturday night is filled with a few kids. It wasn't filled with a lot lots of room for more people. They charge by the hour wasn't happy with that wasn't happy with the fact that it's just kids but that's OK for them. But I didn't like being misled into believing it was for adults. drove a long way to get there walked around took a quick tour and left. Again, I don't think this place would be much fun for adults a.k.a. anyone over 25 or 30 years old but great for kids. read more

My kids love trying to skate! They're clumsy but still have fun everytime we go! The family car load is a fantastic deal and the food is also really good! Definitely looking forward to them reopening! It's also nice that they do adult skate nights so the grown ups can join in! read more

Yes the decor is dated and badly in need of an updo. Yes the staff is young and rude. Yes the snacks/drinks are overpriced. Yes the people that hang out (especially outside) are not the "creme de la creme" of society. But man you get those wheels on your feet and that music is cranked up and you can have a BLAST!!! They always have specials and you can usually find a coupon somewhere around town. So don't take out of town guests here if you want them to see the best of Hemet. The only roller skating rink in miles in a heavily populated Southern California region. There were only a few people there, and I soon found out why. This place is grubby and overpriced with very rude staff and skates that were not even remotely cleaned. The water fountain was broken and it was $2 for vending machine bottle of soda. Despite all that, we did manage to have a good time because there was hardly anyone there on a Saturday! I wish there were roller rinks like we had in the 70's and 80's with lots of life, disco balls, lights, and fun switches like "girls only, boys only, switch directions, etc.." Went here for my little sisters birthday and it wasn't too bad other than the place looks old and it was pretty dirty. The pizza was really good and the staff was friendly. They were able to accommodate everything for s birthday party and that was pretty good for me. I'm not a fan of skating but would probably go back for the pizza lol read more

By far the worst place I have ever been too! The owner was the worst person he literally had no manners and never had anything nice to say to anyone! He treats everyone like a nobody, he kept raising his voice at me and my family and it was not the correct way for him to speak to us! Or to anyone in general! This place is so much fun on family night you don't have to worry if you don't know how to skate everyone goes at their pace. You'll see experts and beginners and those who are giving it a try. I never felt judge and the music was great. A great place to build memories! I learned how to skate here about 7 years ago, when I was 10; took a break from skating and started coming back when I was 16, it was always a decent experience with nothing to complain about. Staff may be hard to find sometimes, but I learned that they'll always pop by to make sure everything's in order and everyone's taken care of once I started working here, and it's been a great experience working there! We have many plans on changing the rink for the better and our boss (Jesse) is putting in the effort needed to run the best business he can! Lived in this town 27 years. Used to go here as a kid. I recently had my daughters birthday party there by her request. Nothing I discussed when I booked the party/discussed in person was executed. They were late setting up and letting me in. I didn't even get to set up my party BEFORE my party guests arrived, which sucked! I kept asking for the things I discussed to be done and all I got was attitude and them telling me "well that's not in the paperwork, so this is what you get" RUDE! Then charged for extra people in my party saying no adults paid for their skates when i KNOW they did. They clearly weren't keeping track at the counter like they claimed they would be. Maybe they need to have responsible adults running it, setting up the parties ON TIME instead of kids, and much better staff communication. And the pizza was not good at all. Never again. Not worth the money I paid. Only upside my daughter had fun. But get it together! read more

If it were up to me I would not give this place any stars. DISCLAIMER: This was my personal experience and I don't recommend you base your decision to go here on my experience. Let me start by saying that this was my first time walking into this place, I did not skate nor stay there for an hour. My little sister invited some friends to go skate there for her birthday (all kids paid for their own entry admission, $12) for two hours. This was from 4pm-6pm, my mother who has also never been there was supervising the children. My mother did not know that after the 2 hours were up everyone had to get out. Around 6pm is when I arrived with a small cake so we can sing for my sister. The "manager" came up and said that we could not cut the cake and stay longer because the time was up. I asked politely if it were okay for us to just sing to my sister and leave (which would have taken no longer than 5-7 minutes). Also, during this time the kids had already returned the skates when the time was up, so they were not skating at all. She preceded to tell me "no" and that we had to pay $3 for each child to stay "less than an hour" to sing happy birthday. We had to pay $3 for 14 kids each who were not even skating, we were just paying to stand there. Also, my mom had gone to order 4 pizzas for the kids and told the cook that she wanted it to be ready by 6:30 so that they can eat when they were done. Knowing that the session ended at 6 the cook preceded to tell my mom okay (again, my mom did not know this is how it worked she was never told anything). I asked the manager what was taking so long for the pizzas at 6:30, she said that because the time was up that they had not made the pizzas and I told the manager why they did not tell my mom that, and she told me "they shouldn't have taken the order" so I told her why my mom wasn't made aware of this and her response was "she didn't ask the question for an answer to be given". Absolutely rude. The pizza wasn't made, they only made 2 because they can only cook 2 at once and at that point I was just so done I told her to not bother with the other two and I wanted to pay the tab and get out. Absolutely one of the worst experiences I have had living in hemet. I usually don't leave bad reviews but I was very upset with how the entire situation had gone and on top of all of that there was not one apology. She was pretty much blaming my mother and I for everything. I will never go back and neither will my sister. read more

It's a 6 on the level, however with the influx of people to this area they may want to cater to the variety and pipe it up a notch. If I had to pick a word to describe this place, it would be "disgusting"! First of all, it's hard to find set behind Big 5. The sign is broken so it just says "house". When you walk in, it has a nasty greasy/moldy smell that gave me a headache. The place is small and super dirty. The carpet was torn and gross. Even the carpet on the walls were torn up and falling off. Several ceiling tiles were hanging down with insulation hanging out. There was a large strip of plastic hanging out on the rink that looked really dangerous. Nasty rental skates. My son wears a size 11 1/2 shoe but they said they didn't have any size 12's and since they don't do 1/2 sizes my son had to wear a 13 that was way too big for him. I doubt they ran out since there was only a handful of ppl in there besides us. The snack bar was expensive (not that I would eat there). They even charged our kids $1 for a small styrofoam cup of tap water. The place was so bad that after about 45 min we all left (there was 9 of us). We couldn't stand it anymore. Kids running around all over the rink and everyone skating in every direction with no refs on the rink. All employees where sitting around. I have grown up in hemet and all we had was the bowling alley or the skating rink...I have good memories of hanging out here from 7th grade through high school and now that I have kids of my own, my wife and I have brought them here to have memories with them also...yes this place is old, it looks the same as it did when I came as a kid, but that's cool, I have 6 kids, so it's $80 for us to come for the evening...but it's about the memories we are making with them...we all have a blast, we don't care about the decor or the smell of the snack bar...we have FUN, get over your 90210 attitude an just have fun!!!!! Yep, for sure I thinks not. Not once but twice now this place has failed to update its hours by so much as a note on the door.Both times I called during open hours to no avail. This past Friday doors said 4 p.m. as did their website. My children and I waited till 4:10 as people waited outside the doors, before I approached a person coming out of the neighboring Derby's Bar and Grill to ask if they had known why it was closed. Apparently the skating rink was closed because Derby's was hosting something and the two businesses are owned by the same person. At least post a note or throw it out on social media that the rink would be closed. read more
