Women's bathroom was completely disgusting with only two available stalls and broken doors that didn't close plus no paper towels. The fields are janky with tall tufts of grass, a bunch of dirt and electrical boxes on their soccer fields. Balls don't even roll, they wonky bounce every where. Please clean this place up and take pride in your city and community!

The bathrooms were surprisingly really clean. That made me really happy, although, clearly someone was just toking in there. I would rather that than finding other things. We started our walk and discovered a small little area where there is a miniature rose garden. They are a bit overgrown but lovely nonetheless. There is a playground that is very well kept right by the bathrooms along with family style tables and grills. A small baseball diamond which I can't wait to use this spring. They also have a tennis court and a basketball court! This place is pretty great. Now some of the downfalls. There is a long pathway that is for walking but looks like it would be fun to skateboard (if it's allowed). There are squirrels running around down there. There are many light posts around but many of them need to be replaced. I am pretty sure the homeless knocked them down for night sleeping. There is evidence of homeless people but not too bad. I also noticed a swastika etched in the sidewalk, not sure how long that has been there but it looks like forever ago. I found it hilarious that not only was someone lighting illegal fireworks but they left the gloves they used. At least they were trying to be safe ... but didn't they know about OJ? Never leave the gloves behind at the scene of a crime. All in all, I will be claiming this as my favorite park here until I find a new one.

This review is based on the condition of the soccer field and adjacent restrooms only. I can't…read morecomment on the condition of the softball and other fields. The location is easy to find and there's plenty of parking. Granted parking can be a little tricky. There are only so many spots in the actual parking lots. And if you have games being played on all fields, all day, parking can be tight. However, there's a big dirt lot in between both parking lots that you can park on. Just look for the driveway cutout to enter. The fields: Natural grass which is always a nice treat. However, these fields aren't in the best condition. There were a lot of holes, slopes and rough spots. My son's home field is natural grass too, but these fields were in pretty bad shape. The bathrooms: In between the soccer fields are two unisex bathrooms. Neither of which have lights. So if you're playing a late game, bring a headlamp or flashlight. And the lock to the one on the right stuck. It took me about two minutes (and that's a long two minutes when you're freaking out because you're locked in a public bathroom. I thought "I'm either going to have to call my husband to break the door down to get me out or call 911." Thankfully I managed to "escape" but avoided that bathroom for the rest of the day. I got lucky once but wasn't sure my luck would hold out.

You will drive down a paved road and the rest will be a pebble, dirt road! Man, does my car need a car wash after today! I made a right at W Contour Rd. At this parking lot, they have 1 restroom in a building and a picnic table. I had to use the restroom as I was drinking Starbucks on the way over!! The restroom was clean with paper!!! I continued driving on the "auto tour" and I followed the signs. I saw a beautiful lake with no water. (I thought this was a beautiful view). I kept driving until I saw Pond 1 and I parked in the huge gray pebbled parking lot. I walked along the upper path between both ponds on both sides of me. I took many pictures & videos. I walked until I saw Marsh U and that is where I saw a skunk !!! I have never encountered one during the day. The skunk saw me and ran in the other direction. I wish I brought bug repellent. I was covered in bugs I knew something bit me on my arm. The place felt very eerie walking through there with no one around. I suppose the best times to visit are spring & winter! Enjoy my photos :)

Keep in mind this isn't a well groomed and cliche/touristy picnic spot for you city slickers. I love how they have kept the area natural but still accessible. Wednesdays and Saturdays are closed to the general public for the waterfowl/duck hunters. This area is run and managed by the California Fish and Wildlife. If you're interested in wildlife (raptors and other birds in particular), this place is great. It's also quite scenic at sunrise and sunset as well.

Theres plenty of grassy area for kids to play soccer, football, frisbee, etc., there 2 basketball hoops (half court), 2 shaded picnic areas, baby swings and kids/adult swings, rock climbing, zip line, slides, and play area. Again, such a cute park!! Great for the whole family. There's also a trail that will lead to the bigger sports park on Heritage Lake. No restrooms though :/

Bigger than most dog parks I've seen, which is impressive. My only gripe? No trash cans outside the park. Super inconvenient for people like me who prefer to keep their dogs outside the fenced area. That said, my pups had the time of their lives frolicking in the grassy areas, which are surprisingly nice and well-kept.
