The common areas inside my building are well kept and clean. Attended to twice a week. I have an elevator which is perfect because I can't use the stairs. Laundry room on every floor. My apartment is beautiful!! The one bedroom is very spacious, walk-in closet, and plenty of other closet space, including free storage locker in the basement. Now let's talk about the staff: Tiara in the leasing office is kind, personable, professional, and attentive to residents needs. She always has a minute or so for a quick chat, and treats for the dogs!!

Kids play in the parking lot and it's dangerous for drivers. Saw one kid jumping on a car hood. Tons of kids on bicycles in the parking lot. Buildings are old. They are doing renovations but it's not enough. They just raise the rent for renovated units. A/C and Furnace are old and inadequate. Fireplaces do nothing but lose heat. Windows are so old they don't keep any cold out. Appliances are so old. Our dishwasher never worked properly. No ice maker in the refrigerator. People working on their cars in the parking lot. People from the neighborhood to the north of the complex come over and dump their stuff in the dumpsters. Management does nothing to stop it. My car was broken into in the parking lot. Old paint and paint peeling in the window sills (probably lead paint) Loud upstairs neighbors. You can hear EVERYTHING they do. No elevators. Neighbor who feeds squirrels and attracts mice, rats, snakes, and other undesirables. He has multiple bird feeders and pans nailed to the rail. Management does nothing to stop him. Neighbor who plays tennis on his walls and plays loud music.

First off, when you first get approved and are able to check out the demo apartment you will probably love it and what not, but that's not what you're getting though. The demo shows the upgraded units however you may not get one as they are occupied.so why show something that isn't even the actual unit one will be getting? When you move in you have a checklist to fill out with any details or damages you may see or find but that's just to let them know about them. When you have an issue, whether is a closet door not closing or jamming you call maintenance but all they do is just literally lift the door and that's it. The issue comes back the same day. Issues "fixed" are not permanent just temporary. Is this what you want? Also the air vents are letting a lot of air escape therefore not flowing properly upstairs. Who installs an air vent right by the entry door?? Of course you're gonna be letting all the cold air out every time the door opens.just terrible planning when they made the units. Additionally you may need a lot of lamps as there is only 3 light fixtures on the whole apartment not including the two bathrooms lights. The closets do have lights but they are not bright and location of lights are bad. On the snowy days, maintenance don't even start plowing until after 8am, most people leave for work earlier than that and the whole parking lot is just an iceberg, I've seen people fall due to the area not getting plowed. Almost as if maintenance wakes up late for work. The headache to just get a response from the office is crazy. 3 girls in the office and only one of them knows her stuff. Surrounding the night market are a great assortment of tenants which serve everything from coffee to pizza to Mexican to ice cream. Once inside the main town center area, I was pleased to be able to walk around to the different businesses without having to walk across traffic.

I've lived here for over four years, so I know how things were run before. However, the current management is absolutely horrible. It's almost as if their hiring process is nonexistent. The only thing keeping this place afloat is the community, and the aesthetic of the lobby which is their only redeeming qualities.
