She did a good job being timely with everything. But, it was odd that she often did not listen to an entire request (or maybe just couldn't hear) before walking away. There were a couple of requests for simple standard items that she wasn't even sure they had. I just found it odd. The food however was excellent. The kitchen staff did an exemplary job all night. I had a marvelous cocktail from the well stocked bar. And my double cut pork chop was fantastic. So full of flavor, juicy, cooked exactly as I requested. The sides that accompanied it were just tender enough without being mushy. And my banana cream pie was great. Overall, I give "Hook and Hoof" a solid 4. I definitely can see us going back. For 3 meatballs, 5 potato wedges, and a 15% tip (she lost 5% due to not asking us for drinks) our bill came to $45. I *wish* I was joking. We won't be back. I honestly feel like I just got ripped off.
