Having an unsightly yard can feel so daunting. The team at The Weed Solution made this whole process so easy and judgement free. I shopped around for quotes on a Sunday, was immediately contacted by a team member, booked and appointment FOR THE NEXT DAY and had a cleaned out yard all within 24 hours! If you're looking for quality work, speedy service and fair pricing LOOK NO FURTHER. I can not recommend The Weed Solutions enough!!!! read more

Hired them to take care of weeds. They split the work in 2 parts, front-loaded the payments and asked to just trust them. Stopped responding after completing the 1st part and taking 75% of the payment read more

They may do good work but chances are they will never actually contact you. I got a response that said someone would reach out. No one ever did...I ended up not even using Yelp's project feature because of this kind of response. Maybe you will have better luck with these guys. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ read more

Talked a good game during the evaluation. But day 1 they showed up at 10:30 am and left at 3:30, 2nd day no one showed up, 3rd day 3 guys showed up did minimal work, 4th day a whole new crew came got a lot done. The job was supposed to be done in 3 days, and it took 5 days plus the weekend cause they don't work weekends, so 7 days. Plus they actually tried to get $2000 more than what was agreed on because the job was bigger than it looked. Also they left a dead tree/bush because it was growing over the neighbors fence and they didn't want to deal with it. This company is also known as San Jose yard clean up. Disgusted with this company and Disgusted with myself for hiring them. read more

First of all, Weed Solution responded very quickly to my inquiry. John then phoned me and gave me clear information about weeds and removal. He was genuine and spent some time discussing. The crew arrived timely, got right to work and also were kind in sharing information about my weeds, what they would do and what I could do about the weeds moving forward. They all got the job done, and showed excellent customer service. Definitely recommend Weed Solution! read more

No response or contact back from the company after 1st initial request for quote for the work.

Contacted Weed Solution through here and was able to get a quote for the work I needed done in my backyard in approx. 10 minutes or so. Robert was very knowledgeable and assured me that his crew would be able to get the job done. We scheduled an appointment for the following week. The reason I docked one star is because he scheduled for his crew to arrive around 9:30AM, but I didn't know they had another job before mine until I messaged Robert and found out they would be arriving around late afternoon instead. It was a bit of an inconvenience since I moved my schedule around to accommodate for the initial morning appointment. Other than that, I would definitely recommend Weed Solution. The crew arrived around 3:15PM and went straight to work after confirming what needed to be done. They finished in about 2-2.5 hours, which was quicker than expected. We were very satisfied with the end results! read more

John and the Weed Solution team are awesome! After the heavy rains we had this year, our property front and backyard was totally weed infested. John sent Junior and his team out and they did a fantastic job removing all weeds and some bushes on our property. They have a great focus on customer service, very responsive, respectful, very thorough, and hard working! We are very pleased with great yard clean up job The Weed Solution team provided us. I would highly recommend The Weed Solution for excellent landscaping and yard clean up services. Thanks again to John, Junior, and the Weed Solution team! Another excellent job well done! read more

We had a very large pile of leaves and branches left over from a winter cleanup pruning. Robert was able to schedule with us quickly, and he followed up on my questions via phone. His communication was spot on. He got the job done, and the area was clean. We're ready for spring now. Thanks Robert! read more

I am very happy with their work. They were professional and very nice. They came the same day I called for a quote and got started the next day. They did a really great job removing overgrown hedges, trimming tree branches and removing overgrown ivy off a fence. Extremely impressed. Everything looked very clean when they were done and they hauled away all the trimmings. Some companies will leave the piles out front for the city to pick up. Would highly recommend! read more

We called this company while we were looking around for landscapers to work with. Robert responded extremely quickly and we set up an appointment to come by for a quote. We have a pretty large yard which needed quite alot of weeding work due to the amount of rain fall we had this year. We had pruning and junk removal as well. They gave us a reasonable price and a very reasonable schedule on when they can get the work done. They were very punctual for both when we met for the quote as well as the day we set up for the work to be done. We're quite happy with the aftermath of our yard, so thanks for all your hard work! read more

I have waited a year to write this recommendation to see the outcome of his work. Wow! Robert, the owner of Weed Solutions really knows his stuff. For the first time I am confident that I am in good hands. Last year I hired Weed Solutions to spray my property spray my hilly 5 acres, for fire safety. One year later (now) the weeds are starting to come back! I made an appointment with him last week, he came all the way up to my house to do the spraying and after surveying the soil and weed growth he said "because of all our rain we had this winter it's too early, the weeds need to germinate about another week and a half before he could spray if it's not windy. He is extremely knowledgeable of plants, trees, weeds, and soil. He is also punctual, polite, friendly, efficient and a family man. I am really happy to have discovered WEED SOLUTIONS. read more

We had an original miscommunication. However, they came back and took care of everything as promised in a timely manner. I'm very appreciative that they took the time to make everything right. It's rare to find a place that cares this much about customer satisfaction. I will definitely be a repeat customer and recommend them to everyone I know. read more

I sent several quote requests for junk removal and The Weed Solution was one of the companies that responded in 10 mins. They gave me a very reasonable quote and efficiently made an appointment the next day. I'd really like to leave a five star review but unfortunately, they were late for at least 45 mins. Anyway, I got a discount for this inconvenience and the worker finished the job quickly. In general, I'm satisfied, esp. their prompt responses. read more

I called Weed Solution to handle some nasty weeds in our backyards that had grown over 8 months. They called me back within a few hours and even came out on a Sunday to review and provide an estimate. They showed up on time and were done within the time frame they had estimated. They even did a little more than I had asked. They are a great team! I highly recommend. read more

If I could give more stars I would! We were moving and didn't realize how much junk and trash we had. We found Robert and texted him a picture of our working pile and got his quote. We ended up probably doubling the pile by the time he got there and he still took everything for a very fair price. Not to mention he had his adorable puppy with him. Don't bother using other junk removal companies and just call Robert! read more

The crew from Weed Solution did awesome job cleaning out the back and front yard. Thank you

Our backyard had years of weeds and trees overgrowth. It was also a storage for old appliances, an old torn-down fence, and an old, run-down shed. Needless to say, it had been neglected far too long. I contacted Robert for a consult and he came all the way from San Jose to Oakland for an inspection to give me a quote. He was super communicative via Yelp, was on time for our appointment, and timely with texting. When we spoke about the project, he was very knowledgable about plants, landscaping, and project-planning. He filled out a detailed quote during the inspection, which was helpful for me to review prior to making the decision to choose him. Once I decided to go with The Weed Solution, we were able to lock down a date for the removal of all aforementioned items. The quote included two follow-up sprays, which we are in the process of planning for now. The project for weeds pulling, trees cutting, and hauling of everything only took about a day, from ~10am-4:30pm. I'm so happy with the results, I only wish I used them sooner. Thank you Robert, Chris, and team for your hard work. I'm so happy with their job, I plan to use them for backyard and possible front yard landscaping. read more

I had a situation where a property I own in Hollister, CA (about 60 miles away from me) needed weed abatement, and it needed to be done quickly. Called and talked to Adrienne - told her what I needed. Next I spoke to Robert. I had to ask him to go down to the property without me, and just bring me into compliance with the city's requirements (fire code).. It was a crazy week and I could not go myself. The next day, Robert came to my house (with his road dog , a Rottie!) to pick up the keys. He drove down by himself, checked it out and quoted me for the job. I asked him to go ahead please! The following afternoon I received an email invoice and a phone call that the job was done! I haven't been down there yet but Robert did give me a few photos. I am very happy - they did exactly what I asked them to do - yard looks great, and we appear to be in compliance! Fellow Yelpers - you did me right on this one! I was a bit stressed and short on time so I relied on Yelp! I will continue to use Robert and his company - they do much more than weed abatement. I plan to use them to help me clean out my Mom's house (which he also quoted for me when he went to Hollister the first time)! Robert and staff are trustworthy, professional, prompt, reliable, responsible, experienced, all those things. Thanks Robert and Adrienne and your crew! read more

These guys were great! I was in a bind and they helped me out. We ordered new trees to be planted in our backyard and needed a couple of shrubs removed in a hurry (poor planning on my part). They were one of the first to respond through yelp. Gave me a quote quickly and were able to show up the day before our new trees were scheduled to arrive. Two guys showed up and worked hard the whole time they were here. Got the job done exactly how I'd hoped. I'll be contacting them again if I need any yard help in the future. read more

We can't be more happy with the Weed Solution! Consultation was punctual and gave us information we needed. They were able to schedule the appointment to the very next day. My backyard and front side yard were overgrown with weeds from all of the rain from last winter. I hired this company to clear the weeds, and to have one mound of dirt removed and the dirt relocated. At the end of the time on day that they were here, the dirt from the dirt mound had not been relocated. I talked to the person in charge who was on site. He called his boss to confirm that they were to relocate the dirt, and he was told to relocate the dirt. I went inside my home and they left about 20 minutes later. The mound of dirt was still there. so I emailed them. I did receive a email response the next morning, and a crew arrived the next day and relocated the dirt from the dirt mound. I would have given them 5 stars if the dirt mound had been relocated the first day. They did do a good job of removing weeds, and of relocating the dirt from the dirt mound. It was easy and quick to schedule the work. It was easy to communicate and kept in contact with this company through phone calls, text messages, and email. read more

Not only is Robert awesome, but Michael was a true gem as well! I am trying to clear out my parents home and it has been an exhausting time for me. Lots of emotions and hard to let go of things, but it needs to be done. I first contacted Robert with what I thought would be going out and his quote was way better than expected, however that changed. I was able to sell some things and had to change what was going out, which was good for me. The quote went up only a small amount and still a bargain by any means. I met Michael at the house on my lunch hour, and he was right on time! We were able to get everything out and loaded within a half hour which I appreciated. And they were even able to take a wheelchair that I had forgotten about! There were many emails between Robert and I and he was always patient and kind, something that is rare these days. It is a great relief to have the items removed from the home and when it's time to get the front yard done I'll be in touch! I can't imagine that you will find a better company to get rid of your unwanted items...do NOT hesitate to contact them! I have already referred them to a co-worker. Thanks again, guys!! read more

I want to give more than 5 stars!!!! Great service, quick and cheap! 2 gens came to work, they are awesome! Strongly recommend to use them.

Robert is fantastic. From start to finish, this is a great company to work with. I needed a massive yard clean up on a property I was selling--lots of old brush, dead branches/bushes, lots of weeds. Robert called back right away to discuss scope of the job and set up a time to come check out the property, and ultimately gave a great estimate. The job was completed on time and they did an awesome job. I would definitely recommend the Weed Solution for yard clean up or weed control. read more

All I have to say is Robert has integrity! He responded in a timely manner to all my email requests and given me a fair quote. He arrived on time to remove my sofa-bed, queen bed, and even some extra trash I had for him to haul away ( I added additional cash for him to take away the extra trash). I highly recommend Robert. read more

Robert came to pick up my junk with a smile on his face! My father had accumulated a bunch of junk in our backyard. Within a day I had an appointment with the weed solution. Robert came and gave me a very reasonable price for weed abatement and tree trimming in my yard. I needed the work done right away because we are having our roof replaced as soon as the weather permits. He gave me the estimate on Thursday and on Saturday was here to complete the work! He gave me great suggestions for maintaining the yard and gave referrals for a landscaper to come out and give me an estimate on installing plants and landscaping the yard. I can recommend him without reservation. He did everything I wanted and I am thinking about having him come out quarterly to spray for weeds and trim trees so it doesn't get out of control again. read more

Very pleased with this company and his work. After making some updates to our master bathroom and adding a new walk-in closet we some wast and un usable materials leftover. The first place from where I got a prompt reply. Robert helped me with the junk removal. He is very helpful and polite. I couldn't take the stuff at curb side due to some problems. I told him the heavy furniture is at upper level and he didn't complain at all. He was super polite and helped me to dismantle the furniture too. He is so professional and knows exactly how to move the things without damaging your walls. I would 100% recommend The Weed Solution!! read more

I frequently find myself turning to Yelp for recommendations when hiring contractors or looking for a specific service. I was on a limited time schedule and desperately needed someone to cut down overgrown weeds at my mom's place. I called Robert on a Tuesday and appreciated his willingness to drive by the job site the same day after he wrapped up his current project. He provided a reasonable quote, was able to complete the job the very next day and I was able to take care of the payment effortlessly while I was hours away all over the phone. Robert was extremely accommodating, professional and most importantly...followed through on his commitment which is not always the case with contractors. I would recommend Robert and his services for any weed removal needs (large or small). read more
