It was quite frustrating because there were several people working but nobody acknowledged that I was waiting at the counter. Then surprise surprise. I get home and the sensor was not removed. So now I get to go back and have the sensor removed. I truly do not understand how hard it is to remove the sensor. Not happy about this experience.

She went back and forth countless times grabbing different sizes, colors, and styles, and never once made me feel rushed or like I was asking for too much. I ordered the pistachio pastry and it was a nice sized portion and served room temperature. When I took a bite, that cream inside was so delicious and went so well with the bread and pistachio topping. While it was a little sticky, I sure enjoyed the heck out of it! The staff refused to let her in because of her shoes and made her go all the way home to change into high heels. We did that, came back, and then watched other guests enter wearing outfits that clearly didn't meet the same standard. The dress code was enforced inconsistently, which made the whole situation feel arbitrary and unfair. To make matters worse, when I politely asked a staff member about the policy and requested his name so I could provide feedback, he refused to identify himself and was dismissive and rude. That level of unprofessionalism only made an already disappointing experience worse. After all of that, we finally got inside--and it wasn't even worth it. The atmosphere was underwhelming, the service left a lot to be desired, and the entire night was a disappointment. Management should seriously review how the door staff treats customers and ensure the dress code is enforced consistently and respectfully. We won't be coming back.

In my experience, the Marshall (or TJ Max) that are in the middle of big city downtowns repurpose…read morebigger multi-purpose buildings, instead of the free-standing ones that are located in the suburbs. There are usually bigger in size, and are multi-story. They often have different, higher-end designer brands. The Marshalls in downtown Miami Beach is like the former, located on the 2nd and 3rd floors of the same building as the Lincoln Dining Hall. It has very tall ceilings with a lot of natural light, creating a nice environment to browse. This store had plenty of inventory, and the clearance sections weren't too picked over when we stopped by on a Friday night. There are escalators and elevators to take you from floor to floor, though the down escalator from 3rd to 2nd was blocked off (forcing you to take the elevator down, which doesn't seem very efficient and an obvious fire hazard in case of emergency). The large space could easily absorb a lot more shoppers than there were, but the checkout queues wasn't very efficient (at one point, the line got more than 7 shoppers deep and took a while to checkout). A good place to stop by to pick up some clothes for your vacation if in the Miami Beach Area.

D-Koncept is a French boutique and I would describe their clothes as a cool kind of street wear, but that isn't really all that accurate. The pieces are art. That's more accurate. Everything from the clothes, shoes and accessories to the other cool offbeat items they sell - all art. I'm not a shopaholic but I loved everything in the boutique so much that it could have easily turned me into one. And I'm not exaggerating when I say that I loved EVERYTHING! It wasn't like one or two things here - it was everything. This shop is a true hidden little secret in Wynwood except all the cool kids already knew about this place and the rest of us are just now catching on. Also, the owner Deborah is the coolest person ever! She was very nice and very accommodating. However I will warn you, if you're used to shopping at H&M and Forever21, the sticker prices may give you a bit of a shock. But the items are so cool and unique, you may be inclined to save up your pennies or work that double shift to get what you want. Definitely check this out this boutique, you won't regret it. Oh! And they have men's clothing as well.
