Since they closed down I started coming to the Kendall location and have been ever since. I started off with a specific waxer that my aunt recommended me to. But recently she wasn't there to fulfill my appointment but the receptionist at the front comforted me and told me not to worry that she was going to recommend me someone and little did I think she was going to pare me with the best waxer in this center. Her name is Zaya, she made me feel so comfortable since the minute she introduced herself. Her charisma and vibe was out of this world. She makes sure that you are comfortable. Which is so important being that I get a Brazilian... I love that she makes sure to explain everything she is going before she does it. She's so knowledgeable about the products which btw I think I have the entire collection because she has me hooked on them. Plus the best part of it all is that their actually really amazing products and the results show but consistency is key to get the results. I have recommended several family members and there was only an instance that one of my family members was scheduled with Zaya but she had left early for personal reasons. We were attended by another waxer but nothing compared to the experience Zaya provides. The girls in the front always have a smile on their face and you feel welcomed when you come in till the minute you leave. I will continue to come here for years to come best experience and forgot to mention everything is clean and fresh. Down the long hallway there's several doors and each one is a private massage room along with a foot massage rooms that are for tandem from site so you don't have a whole crowd of people lined up one next to the other. Mindy gave me at my foot massage for an hour and proceeded my back with my feet soaked which is the usual ritual. She then sat me back on the very comfortable chair and I dozed off as she massaged and gave me reflexology on my feet, which was absolutely wonderful. She had a strong grip and that's my preference. She kept asking me " is this okay this is okay" and of course it was okay so that was a little distracting at times. But she was very sweet about it I was just in deep slumber. While there are a few very good massage therapists here, it has become clear that they do not honor their call -ahead appointments. Over the last few years, I have been double booked at the same time as somebody else numerous times. When I am the first of the two booked clients to get there, I get the massage, but my massage therapist has had to leave the room a few minutes into the session to address an angry customer in the waiting room who arrived only to find they have been double booked and have no session. Today, I arrived to find out my therapist was in a session and would not be available for another hour. So I reluctantly agreed to give someone I don't know a try, and that was a big mistake. She took forever to even come to the room, and then when she did and I laid down, nothing happened for at least a minute and so I looked up and saw her standing there scrolling her phone!!! She continued for nearly a minute and I started to sit up and she exclaimed, "What are you doing? Relax, I will do my best." I laid back down. Then...nothing again. I looked up again and she was scrolling her phone again! At some point she started and the massage was weak. I asked her to add more strength and she sighed with exasperation and did not make any change. I then got up and said I would reschedule. She stormed out. As I was getting dressed, the other woman from the front desk who had convinced me to give that first therapist a try came in and offered to do my massage herself. I agreed and laid back down. Thankfully, she actually had good strength and was respectful and professional. The chaos that occurred today was ridiculous. This is not the first time I have arrived at Asiami to find out that my therapist was double booked. Even worse, the first therapist I was set up with today was extremely rude and not even competent at the job when she finally did start. I am dumbfounded as to why Asiami would hire someone that is so unprofessionaI. If I have another experience like today's at Asiami, I may permanently take my business elsewhere. Please stop double booking your call ahead appointments!!!

I usually come and do my nails with Mariobi, which I come religiously every two weeks, and sometimes I even do my eyebrows with one of the owners(which are so sweet) and do amazing work on my brows every time one of them touches them! Liane and Leyden have always had the spa nice and clean, smelling amazing... as a matter a fact, I can't think of one time I am not finishing my nails right before closing and they are making sure the salon is SPOTLESS for the next day! In my experience, wax was reused between clients, and the same waxing stick was used throughout the service instead of being replaced. This creates a serious risk of cross-contamination and raises concerns about proper hygiene and client safety. I believe these practices should be addressed to ensure a clean and sanitary environment for every client. The waxers don't practice sanitation and trust me they do not care!
