I recently purchased a brand new vehicle and naturally I'm hesitant about taking it to a drive-thru car wash because of the scrubbers causing scratches, so I've opted to wash it myself at home. Well that's not really practical in the winter but it needs to be be washed and hand wash car washes get to be pricey. So after driving by this location almost everyday on my way home, I noticed a Sheriff's SUV pulling into the touchless car wash bay (which I had no idea it was touchless) and out of desperation to find a winter wash alternative I turned around and pulled up to the kiosk. I was shocked to see the extremely low prices (starting at $6) and the several wash options available! I chose the $10 wash and entered the wash bay. It took about 5 mins or less, it was completely touchless and included a blow dry. Was this as good as a $60 hand wash? No, but for $10 and not having to worry about scratches on my new SUV, I was totally content. I got home wiped some of the windows and chrome accents and was a happy camper. This is my go to quick winter wash for sure. read more

Great wash and free vacs. Felt very new and my truck was much cleaner than most of the automated machines.

I bring my car here about every 2 weeks for a self wash for $3. The vacuum is $2. The bays are wide enough to give me space to walk around while washing. I don't dare use the brush- who knows where it's been. Just a rinse, soap, and final rinse. I tried the air dryer and it had about as much blow power as my hair dryer so I will just towel dry for now. I bring quarters or cash so that I don't have to worry about any of these credit card charges other people mention. *You get some pretty sunsets and views of planes taking off while you are there. read more

This review is only for the automatic touchless car wash bay. There is only one and it is ONLY TOUCHLESS meaning no option for the brushes. This is my first time here. I use the Prater location touchless all the time. This touchless wash appears to be an older version but it got my car clean. The biggest difference is the vortex dryer moved back and forth same as the wash, where at Prater you drive past the dryer. I'd say this dryer might even dry better than Prater. If Prater wasn't available I'd come here. I don't like the brushes at all but people with severely filthy vehicles might like the brush option. For touchless I'd give this location 5 stars. I only removed a star for people who prefer the brushes. There are 7 self serve bays. read more

Bays are well maintained I like that there is a dyer feature in all self wash bays. Bays are big enough to walk around my truck easily and they do have an oversized vehicle bay that is very cool option that most don't. Only down sides are that some times the foam spray cuts out for to long, so just waisting time=money and there is no wax option. There is a clear coat protector. read more

We've been using this self car wash for years. It was a good value at $3 for 3 minutes. It has since changed ownership, and is now called Reno Car Wash LLC. Even though the displays still show the $3 price, we were charged $15 on a credit card since we didn't have cash. We had no receipt, and when I called the owners they said they no longer take cash & that is the standard price for a self wash. Why isn't there a sign that says $15? WHAT A RIP OFF read more

An EXCELLENT value car wash. Since buying my new car, I've been on the hunt for a touch-less car wash. Traditional car washes with fabric strips are basically like sandpaper for your car's finish. I was extremely impressed with how the mechanism rotated around my car getting every surface, a deeper clean than any other carwash I've been to before. We always stop here in between full car washes, just to rinse off our car and keep it looking clean. We don't use the do it yourself stalls. We always go through the automatic wash. It does a good job for the five dollars it costs for a basic wash. The machine takes cash and credit cards, and we never have an issue with it being broken or stealing our card info. This car wash is the closest one to our house, and it's convenient for us to stop in when we need it. It's quick, has vacuums available, and we never have to wait too long to get our car washed. read more

this car wash would be fine, but they charge you $15 upfront to run your card to use the sprayer and the foam brush, etc. i've checked my bank account, and the $15 is not always reimbursed. There are other self wash car washes in sparks which do not charge that $15 upfront deposit. read more

See all the people being charged unauthorized charges in their card at this business? They steal from your card criminally. The owner of this car wash is named Bill. He is not on location and refuses to address these illegal and unauthorized fraudulent charges his machines withdraw from customers who are required to use a card for car wash use. I called him after seeing that his machine stole an extra $10 from my card. He is extremely cocky and entitled and argued that it's "a normal hold that ensures he gets paid and said it will be credited back in 3-7 days." It took me 30 minutes for this call. Of course this was never credited back. I had to call him again several weeks later after being under the weather, and he again argued that the charge is going to be returned. When I expressed frustration he indignantly said, "I should just let you be charged and try to get your bank to fix it." I let Bill know I'm a professionally trained legal advocate who will be reporting him to the Better Business Bureau, Attorney General's Office of Business and the bank for knowingly committing criminally unauthorized charges. He obviously knows he is doing this and has zero conscience to people's right to financial safety without theft. Please close this business! read more

I would consider myself a touchless car wash aficionado in Reno. There is a wide range of establishments, most being a one time shot. I stopped in here as it was on my way home and I have never been here. This is a new house. It had a great pick on yelp and I pull in and it looks pretty beat down. Not a great first impression. This place only has one auto wash and it is touchless. I go and pay the $8 mid grade and procede. I have never seen this kind before. Holy crap I thought my paint was peeling off and my roof was dented. Each station had plenty of product and their dryer works great. Great place to take your RV to clean the exterior. You can use the soap brush and also the spray. We took a 32 foot motor home and it had enough clearance. We needed 14 feet and it was perfect. $7.50 to clean the motor home exterior. They have vacuums also but did not try to do it in the motorhome. Good deal and clean. They even have a stall with a step and platform if you need to get to the top. read more

During these unpredictable times, it saddened me to see the owner approach me at my vehicle for a night wash without a mask on and not following social distancing protocols to merely express his deep hatred for sports cars not allowed to show up on his property for an isolated wash. This expressive hatred is towards these cars at night since this seems to attract and lure more vehicles to his business, which he doesn't want at all for some reason... I did enjoy my time at this car wash and giving my supporting business; however, the owner of this specific wash has enlightened me otherwise to see the rage-filled with the poor man. I recently purchased a new car and got Ceramic Pro on it. With Ceramic Pro you have to go through a touch less car wash because bristles can damage the coating. This car wash had some of the best reviews so I decided to try it out. I got the basic ($5) wash and everything was going well until the sprayer got stuck in a position because it didn't detect my car to be in the correct spot for some reason. I ended up just driving out of the wash because I didn't know what else to do. The Owner was there, fixed the machine, refunded me, and proceeded to dry my car off by hand. I've never had such great service anywhere and even though I didn't have the best experience with the car wash itself, I'll be back for my regular car washes here! read more

Due to the ratings I drove all the way from my home in Galena to use the drive thru touch free wash. Pulled in. Machine started to move and then stopped. Tried calling the phone number but no answer. Update: A few days later I received a response from the operator offering to refund the cost. I actually didn't get around to calling back. I gave them another try though and it's an ok automatic wash but you have to bring a chamois or towel since the dryer doesn't get the vehicle completely dry. I have a pickup truck so perhaps it would be different for other types of vehicles. read more

This is the second time I have realized this place charged me 15$ for a 3 min rinse off .. the first time I saw the charge amount of 15$ for like a 5 min wash , I thought, maybe I didn't end it the right way and someone behind me got a free wash cause my card info was still initiated .... But that's not the case ... this time it was quicker then last time and I made sure I did everything right to make sure my wash was ended on the machine .. but yet I got charged 15$ again ... the owner is a scam artist who will drive a big truck , big tires , lifted because he has ego issues.... I will be doing what I have to do to get my money back .. not because of the dollar amount but because he should be out of business for ripping people off who are not to active on keeping track of charges on there card. Came here after about 8 days in the desert to clean up the rental car (the need was pretty dire as the thing has about an inch layer of dust on it). The place was great, there's 4 wash bays and a touch less drive through wash as well. The prices are pretty decent, and the machines also accept cards. There's also vacuums and rug shampoo to use, both are also coin or card op. They also have a card you can get through them to load up, which gives you a discount on the services offered there. The drive through car wash was also pretty decently priced, about $5-$10 depending on what type of wash you choose. For the price you pay, it does a really good job. Unlike most coin op places I've been, this one actually had a couple employees around. Both of which were super nice and helpful. The place is really well kept too. Next time I'm in Reno with a dirty car, they'll be my go to. read more

I have only tried their touchless car wash. It does as good or better job than other touchless machines I have tried. I am disappointed with their pay vacuum stations. Only got hose on only one side and it's too short. Have to drag the dirty hose over the car's interior to get to the other side. read more

The 2 Wave car washes are THE ONLY good automatic wash bays here in Reno. They get the car extremely clean shiny and dried correctly MUCH better than any Water Wizard autos around town do. I've never had my vehicle look like crap when exiting any Wave auto wash. read more

Because i have SUP rack on the top of my car, so i can't use the regular carwash, so i came to this place because of the touchless car wash, but i am not happy with the result.... white dust from parking outside is still there after the wash, i also tried the self wash, it worked better than the automatic touchless wash. Great car wash! Did the touchless. The pay machine worked great. Used the vacuum and I like that after the first $1 for the vacuum you can feed quarter at a time (time limit I am sure) until done. Only tip would be garbage cans at each of the vacuum stations. I am guessing they might try to limit folks tossing tons of stuff but maybe size limiting lids would help. An employee had the nerve to approach me while I'm washing my truck to say "Next time sweep the leaves off of my truck before I show up to the self wash" (Won't be a next time) they use extremely hard water that spots the sh*t out of your glass and they are one of the more expensive car wash's in Sparks. Very convenient to airport. Well maintained with up to date equipment. Takes credit cards or tokens that you buy from them. CC most convenient. After 12 days in the desert, with a 200% dusty van, it cost $6 to clean it up outside. What's not to like? read more
