Great place for a night out a bit pricy but if you plan on it it will definitely work out. Service was a bit slow but that was because of short staff and that is fine but when the food came out it was amazing I order the shrimp rice and it was out of the park! When I went with my friend he ordered the paella it for being a bit pricy it is what it's worth. When you first walk in it's almost like you're on a huge boat mainly due to the ambiance of the waves crashing and being straight on the dock over all a one of a time experience would love to come back again :) read more

First off...don't UBER there. We got there just fine but then we couldn't get an Uber to pick us up because it's not in the best part of town. We had to walk a mile before someone would pick us up. The service is typical PR. Slightly rude and almost annoyed we were there to eat. We always tip at least 20% regardless but if it was based on performance these folks wouldn't have deserved half of that. The best part is the views. On the water by the boardwalk. The place has the best views you can get from piñones, but in terms of service they suck. The have the rudest and most disrespectful waitresses. When you go to a restaurant you are paying for the ambience the food and to have a good time. The place wasn't full at capacity and the waitress keep complaining about the place been full and the kitchen working slow. Order a carrucho and it took over an hour until i had to approach the waitress to complain about the way she treated us and the waiting time. Even my brother tried to find out what was happening to the waitress and she complaint about other customers and criticize them in front of the entire table. Definitely if you are looking for a nice environment and service this is not your place. I actually left very upset and it seems didn't even matter to this people. read more

A great spot in Piñones. The restaurant is by the water so the view is unbeatable. The food was very good. I had camarones al ajillo with tostones and would order it again. By the time we were ready for dessert they had run out. They make fresh flan daily and when it's gone, it's gone. The staff were absolutely delightful. This place was great . We found this nice spot by walking the beach . It has one of the best views! We had ordered some Mojitos which I didn't really care for, the alcohol seem almost non existent. So I went a head and ordered the local beer "medalla" which is really good for a nice price we also ordered a dish I'll post a pic below , but It was delicious and fresh. Hidden gem! Pinones is generally just locals but I highly recommend stopping by for great puertoriccan food! As we walked along the water we found waterfront and it was a great location with a view of the ocean! Loved how it was all covered but still outside, felt super covid friendly! Their pina coladas were phenomenal! And for Food we ordered an assortment of traditional puertoriccan food... mofongo, rice and beans, Platanos, empanadas and more... it was all delicious! Truly might have been the best meal I've ever had and that's saying quite a bit. Our waitress was super kind. A gem in pinones... definitely take the time to stop here while on the island! The restaurant has a nice view but the service was terrible. Our waitress did not listen at all, and she spoke english so it was not a language barrier challenge. We asked for our appetizers and for my soup included in the appetizers. She brought it as an entree and brought my boyfriend the fish he said he did not want, and then forced us to take the fish, not taking it back to the kitchen. we then cancelled the steak which was supposed to be his actual entree and she brought it anyway. Since we thought the steak was getting cancelled and were forced to take the fish he took a bite of the fish before the steak came out. We then told her we didn't want the steak bc she was forcing us to keep the fish. We asked for the fish to be taken off if we were going to have to keep the steak too, since he had only taken one Bite from the fish. The server called the manager who wasn't on site and his response was were not taking it off, call the police!!! And they charged us 54 for the dish when it was 35 on the menu. The police said they couldn't force them to take it off. they ended up giving us a slight discount on something we didn't want and we're forced to take. Worst experience ever. I highly do not recommend eating here. Not to mention, the server Was argumentative when we politely told her we had stated we did not want the fish. read more

This is an excellent spot to stop along PR-187. As its name suggests, the patio is right on the water and the view of the water is a perfect backdrop to the meal. We have the arroces with shrimp and octopus and the mofongo with steak. Both were delicious, authentic Puerto Rican meals. I went with my mom. It was saturday at 12pm. It was empty. They sat us very fast, no waiting. The waiter was very nice, always with a smile. First, we order two sangrías with "croquetas de jamón". It was delicious. Then, we both had mofongo. She ate it with carne frita and I with chicken in guava sauce. The waiting was normal, maybe 15 minutes. The food was very good. Then, for dessert, we order the coconut flan. This was the exception: no good flavor. I'm no expert and I make one delicious coconut flan in comparison. However, this didn't change our opinion that it was a good experience. But the best of all was the view. The restaurant is so close to the beach that THAT is what makes it AMAZING. The yuca is like a mash, soft and delicious, and the breading on the outside is thin and crispy fried, served with mayo-ketchup, wow, just delicious. We then shared a mixed seafood rice with lobster which was also spectacular, rice is nice and moist and flavorful, with plenty of mariscos. We got it with amarillos, which is ripe plantain and here they grill them instead of fry them. Delicious! We had a hiccup with our wine order (Piñones is not really a place for wine but we are stubborn that way). But in the end, two glasses of Albariño and everything was fine. Very friendly staff. The place is unassuming and a little confusing to locate but once you find it, what a nice treat. The view is spectacular as others have mentioned. The staff is extremely friendly and attentive. Our server was friendly. She seemed a bit young and inexperienced but what are you really there for, the view and the food. Both were on point. My wife and I shared rice with a mix of shellfish. Absolutely fantastic! The flavor of the rice was typical for puertorican rice but having some of that flavor mixed in with the scallops, shrimp and mussels was heavily. We shared the dish with s nice crisps white wine. The great food, the sound of the Atlantic crashing the shore and the wonderful ocean breeze added to a very peaceful and pleasant experience. I hope to return soon. read more

This restaurant is a great place for local and tourist families. It is located at the beach next to a boardwalk. We came here on a Saturday for lunch and the environment there were a few families and other couples. They had music playing but the volume was low enough to have anice conversations without raising your voice. Food is good my favorite part was the alcapurrias and the turnover on the sampler plate. I had salmorejo which was pretty good too and my husband had the fried red snapper (it was good but not the best I've had). Prices are reasonable. When this was pointed out the waitress disagreed and told us it was club soda. We sent it back and asked for a club soda - she then came back and said they didn't have any.
