The place is really nice, the staff very friendly and the food was amazing! I was just walking around from my hotel and saw it, has big windows and decided to check out the menu. Will definitely be coming back.

Food, drinks, and service was great. Restaurant itself isn't anything to write home about and is cramped but it is worth the visit !

Wonderful seafood stew, lobster empanadas and plantains with excellent service. Enjoyed our dinner at Cayo Blanco.

So my friends and I arrived at this restaurant on the day we arrived in Puerto Rico. We were hungry after our flights and checking into our hotel. Thankfully they were opened so we were ready to start our vacation off right. When we walked in they seated us by the windows and got our drinks but within a few minutes we saw a ton of bugs crawling on the floor by the windows. There were a lot of them so we pointed it out and they told us this is normal when it rains and moved our seats although I've never experienced this in any other restaurant, I believed them and completed our dining experience in another section. While this could have easily dropped my rating significantly, they made up for it in our food experience. While the snapper is great overall, it isn't the best in the Condado area. What this restaurant has perfected and hands down the best in the area is their tres leches!!! So good we talked about it many times throughout our trip and even came back to order it to go. So delicious!

Excellent experience! Great customer service. Friendly staff. Beautiful ambiance. Tiny place so I recommend reservations. The empanadas were great especially the steak! The fried snapper was ok. It was my first experience enjoying the entire fish. He was looking at me! . I pretty much ate the center and tail. I would have liked more seasoning. The chocolate cake was excellent.

We were lucky enough to stay near the restaurant during our recent visit so we had dinner there twice. Suggest making a reservation. The space is tight but pretty! Service was awesome both visits the guys treat you like you are the only guests! We tried the whole fried snapper, the lobster, red beans, avocado salad. And desert! All great , fresh, and well flavored. We will be back!

This place was absolutely freaking amazing. I mean from the friendly service and recommendations down to the food. It's a quaint restaurant really cute for a date. I can honestly say just try anything on the menu and you won't be disappointed.

    fried red snapper!

ONE OF THE BEST MEALS I HAVE EVERRRRR HAD. I got the fried red snapper and my boyfriend got the grilled red snapper. Both incredible! The service was spectacular. Our servers were named Alex and Rafa. Both charismatic with awesome recommendations. They made us laugh and the meal was amazing. Intimate restaurant on the smaller side but a humongousssss force in the kitchen. Will be back!!!

Fried Snapper. So good. Crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside.

Had a great Christmas dinner with fried snapper (why are prices for this so varying across the city)? Service was excellent: the place is very popular and was hard to get a seat without a reservation (waited an hour, but was able to walk around the beach). Will definitely be back on my next trip to PR!

I have to say, this was the best Christmas dinner I've ever had and it was at Havana Bar & Grill. Number 1 on the list of nearby restaurants given to us by the front desk at our hotel The Condado Plaza Hotel. Ambiance: Casual and cozy, but could be more formal if you want/need it to be. I was a little concerned because we had a 14 and a 10 year old with us but it wasn't a problem at all. We fit right in. Beautiful, BEAUTIFUL VIEW OF THE OCEAN from the dining room windows. They have quite the wine selection which most wine connoisseurs would appreciate. Wines are on display next to the dining room. Service: We call for a reservation about 45 minutes before we were ready to eat. We weren't sure if they were gonna be open because it was Christmas Day. But they were open and they did have a space available within the hour for a table of six, and they were happy to seat us. The host was friendly, our server was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. The food came out quickly and hot. The food. OMG THE FOOD!! Appetizers: Camarones Al Ajillo (Garlic Shrimp). Delish and cooked perfectly. AND Empanadillas de Carne (mini meat turnovers) especially delicious (comes with a sauce. I don't know what it was but it was great with the empanadas. The dough wrapping was light and flaky, like pie crust. Gorgeous! Entrees: The kids had Frituras de Pollo (chicken tenders) not your run-of-the-mill flash frozen and then fried, chicken pieces. This was real chicken with real breading and it was fantastic. They even took the time to elevate a kids dish. Super crispy and good seasoning. MOFONGO Churrascos (out side skirt steak) Delicious, meat cooked perfectly and FULL OF FLAVOR. Bistec de Filete Encebollado (tenderloin steak with onions) with red beans and rice. Best my wife and son ever had. Steak cook perfectly. Finally Risotto de Mariscos (risotto with seafood *shrimp, calamari & mussels) This dish was on par with the risotto dish I had a Gordon Ramsay Steak in Maryland. Perfection. That's all I need to say about that. Tremendous experience here. I would come back in a heartbeat. In fact, we did. Next day. Took some desserts to go. They don't make them in house but they said they get them from a local bakery. Good enough for me. DESSERTS: Chocolate cake and Carrot cake. We enjoyed in them our hotel room. Moist and delicious. Consistent with our first experience. Still happy customers. (Chef's kiss)

The portions were very large, and we would have been fine with just two menu items! To start, we had the roasted eggplant, lamb 'picadillo', date sofrito, 'Feliche' yogurt. For entrees, we tried the (1) rice with rabbit, sweet plantain in its leaf and the (2) breaded pork loin, mushroom cream, cherokee tomatoes from San Lorenzo, tostones. Our server was super excited when we ordered the rice with rabbit and I understand why. It was insanely flavorful. Also a massive portion haha. We really enjoyed this. The pork loin was delicious as well, especially with the mushroom cream. Plantains are one of my favorite foods, and these tostones did not disappoint. The restaurant itself is beautiful. There are so many spots that are authentic and incredible, but La Casita Blanca stands out in its own lane. It's gotten more popular and touristy over the years, but that's because they've stayed true to who they are. The authenticity here hasn't changed, and that's exactly why people keep coming. This is the kind of place where the menu brings you right back to your upbringing. You'll find dishes like corned beef, tostones con bacalao, and other classics that just hit differently. And the vibe? It feels like family. Someone who looks like your aunt might be cooking your food, your cousin might be serving it, and everyone treats you like you belong there. Food-wise, everything we had was fire. One of the people I was with is basically an "aguacateologist," and even he said it was one of the best he's ever had. That alone says a lot. Chuletas fried to a perfect golden crisp. The pollo fricasé (pollo guisado, if you know, you know) was on point and even came in a little pot that made it feel extra homey. Arroz con gandules?
