I was fortunate enough to find out about this incredible salon from a friend in my graduating class…read more(none other than Stylist Katie herself), and I can fully attest that a 35 min drive from Cleveland was so worth it for the best hair care experience I've ever had! I'm not just being dramatic here... in every single way, from the informational discussion before I arrived, to the way Sarah at the front desk made me feel so comfortable on the phone with the process, to being in person and given the royal treatment. They began with a tour of this cute spot and I couldn't have loved it more. The decor and aesthetic was stunning, stylish, and modern. When trusting someone with your hair, it feels even better in a soothing space. Katie herself was so thorough as I had questions about the differences between full color, highlights, balayage, and gloss. I can't thank her enough for being patient and descriptive in her explanations so I could make the correct hair care choice for myself. She is fully your advocate and alongside you in the journey versus feeling rushed to make a decision or unclear about what service you're receiving or what it takes to maintain it. I have been places where it seemed the most important thing was increasing the price and while this is an upscale salon, the cost ties directly to the luxury of well educated stylists and clean natural ingredients for your hair. They even provide snacks and drinks. What could be better? Every single person I encountered was kind, cheerful and welcoming. I believe it was Nicole (esthetician) who delivered my water and had such a bubbly energy and charismatic aura. Chelsea was wonderful as she helped wash/rinse my hair and put in the stop - all while she explained that it would return my ph balance back to normal which I deeply appreciated the science behind. Nerd alert. But seriously, the more you know what is happening with your hair, the more you want to take better care of it. Back to the service itself: Katie was able to aid me in the selection of a gloss and cut (which was much needed because I had some serious split ends) and the formula creation her and team made was the perfect match for what I envisioned. You know those moments where you have "hair goals" photos in mind? Without even showing her a pic, she came to the table with some options and then nailed it completely. As a redhead it has been challenging for me to find a place I feel confident won't destroy my natural color (yikes, someone made it almost purple once which took a WHILE to grow out) and Katie one hundred percent understood my concerns. I felt heard the entire time and it was an added bonus that we got to catch up on life after several years! I am beyond thrilled I took a chance on a new place that I will definitely be calling my home in the future. Thanks to Jessica and everyone at the salon for making my Valentine's Day absolutely delightful!

I have FINALLY found a good salon in the Kent area! It only took me two years!…read more I'm really not all that picky when it comes to hair. I keep my hair short and spunky, so if something goes wrong, I usually don't have to wait very long until I can fix it. That being said, I'd obviously rather not have to wait for the hairstyle I want. At the same time, I don't want to spend over $40 on a haircut. Like I said, I keep my hair short, so I don't really see how salons can justify charging me a ton of money to chop off less than an inch of hair. I found New Image after hours (no exaggeration) of searching on the web. Something about the way they portray themselves on their website really drew me in, so I called to make an appointment and they got me in the same day. My stylist was Michelle, and I knew pretty much right away that the experience would be perfect. She asked what I was interested in and I gave her a general idea of the hairstyles I like. We were on the same page right away. I told her that I like to give my stylists creative license to do what they think is best...they are trained to do the job, after all. Michelle carefully explained what she had in mind, and all systems were go. Throughout the entire process, Michelle was very friendly and personable. 30 minutes later, I left with one of the best haircuts I have had in a very long time. Michelle said that if within a week I notice any issues, I can come back in and have it fixed free of charge. Major bonus. The shampoo, cut, and dry normally costs $25, but with an online coupon from their website, I paid $22.40. Perfect price! I'm so relieved I've found a local salon and stylist I can count on. I'll definitely be back!

They offer top-tier services and have well-trained hairdressers. I usually just ask for a trim and an eyebrow wax and they always do a fantastic job. I've also gotten my hair colored before by Nicole and she did an amazing job, I just think looking back on it that the color wasn't for me. But she's great for blondes. Everyone there is always super friendly and seem genuinely interested in getting to know me. I usually have a different person each time and they all have been super kind. The inside is also super nice and and very clean which is always important. I highly recommend this salon if you care a lot about quality when it comes to your hair.

I went to fringe salon to get some color off my hair and add a new color with layers. It cost me…read moreabout 300 dollars and I was there for 4 HOURS. I didn't get the style I wanted and ended up with botched blunt layers and badly bleached sections of my hair that didn't blend at all. The colors they had were very limited and lasted about 2 showers before my hair had no color and looked super crappy. Also the stylist left me sitting there while she did two other clients hair right in front of me. I wanted to complain there but I was tired and hungry and felt like I was about to cry so I just payed and left. Now I dye my weird blond parts at home and I curl my hair every morning because it looks terrible straight. Safe to say I will never be returning to this salon. Note: I brought a picture of what I wanted in color and style and printed it out to make it clear, and the stylist said with full confidence she could easily do it, so my hair was not the problem.

I have been a loyal client of this salon for a decade and have always been happy with my service,…read morewhich makes writing this review incredibly difficult. However, my last two haircuts were uneven and grew out poorly, and my most recent visit with my 11-year-old daughter was entirely unacceptable. During our appointment, my stylist heavily lectured my daughter about heat styling and using heat spray, making passive-aggressive comments about how her own mother never taught her these things so she had to teach my daughter--all while I was standing right there. It felt incredibly disrespectful and intrusive, and it made my daughter very uncomfortable. Furthermore, the stylist made an offensive comment to us about how she "refuses to cut anyone's hair if it's too damaged" because of "where she is in her career." My daughter and I prefer to keep our hair long and don't get frequent cuts, and being judged or shamed for our hair condition by a professional we've trusted for years was highly disappointing. To make matters worse, the salon environment felt completely unmanaged. Another client and his mother were allowed to hover closely around my daughter. Despite her being visibly upset and uncomfortable, the other stylists simply brushed it off saying, "Oh, he won't touch you," instead of respecting her personal space or intervening. After ten years of loyalty, the drop in technical quality and the complete lack of professional boundaries and awareness during this last visit means we will not be returning.
